The problem with clone systems is that it's not just a matter of will they work but will they work later. I've had multiple brands start out working fine with NES/SNES and MD flash carts then suddenly stop supporting one or more.
That's right. When I tested the unit for the video I couldn't get most of my carts to work, but then I got the FX Pak working and it went great. But will it work next time? Who knows? Definitely don't buy this unit if you're specifically looking to use Flash Carts in it. -Kris
I'm surprised these clone consoles are still a thing.. Now if they'd use a FPGA instead of software emulation, I'd be on board, but otherwise, the SOC thing and the inability to play flashcarts is a deal breaker for me. The casual gamer probably wouldn't care though. 🤷🏻♂️
Speaking from experience, the Hyperkin Retron 3 is strictly hardware. No software, no menus, just cartridge connectors on a PCB. The closest you can get to the OG hardware, really. The downside to the Retron 3 is that it uses the red/white/yellow RCA jacks and really only looks good on 4:3 aspect ratio TVs. (The Retron 5, by contrast, is almost pure emulation.)

I love un squadron!
cool system
My big question is: will the Super Scope 6 work with it?
An excellent question! If I have time, I'll give it a test.

Think I prefer Analogue Pocket
Yeah, the pocket is cool, but it doesn't play original carts... which is the point of this system.
will it work with flashcarts like krizz
