    I took my 572 back to dealer other day cause the spark plug blowed the threads out. He plugged it up and it had 327 hours on it and he put coil in it and next size up plug and it's ran 10 to 12 hours so far like nothing ever happened. Only thing I've ever had to do to that saw. Very dependable

    Nice video! Folks watch and listen to this saw during the reset again! You and your saw will both benifit from you being able to hear what the saw should sound like when tuned properly (even a regular carb saw) If your saw is running poorly and does not respond to the reset and adjust itself, stop running it and have it diagnosed. I just had an auto-tune saw that was running with the carb boot completely separated from the mounting plate! Several folks thought this saw ran fine even though it didn't sound quite right. Boy were they surprised! It is crazy how every year when the temp drops here how many saws come in the shop blown up from running lean, even from experienced loggers. If any piece of equipment sounds funny there is likely a problem. Stop and check it out!

    My 562xp has been awesome since day one. I held the bigger boy in the showroom and no comparison for weight/balance. Best firewood saw going. Too bad the Techlite bars back then bit the big bone, delamination to the max.

    I will have a great week Donny...gotta go check out your store ..I can’t find a light weight fricking bar anywhere ..I saw that you had some ..so I should be able to switch right over no problem ? Same chains same sprocket ..I run 3/8s anyhow..Local saw shop told me just switch them out ..s can you tell me how much weight I will save ..getting old so i get more bang for the buck ..lol ..this video was interesting ...my 572 has always run top notch ..the only thing that has gone was a broken damper spring .. cheers Don. I will rip a big birch and set up the 572 .

    My husqvarna 545 mark ii won't idle, rpms are very high in idle.
    I tried to get it to reset, but couldn't. Decided to use it anyway.
    Been using saws about 9 years. Climbing trees, groundwork, chainsaw milling, carving, etc.
    I hit my leg doing something routine, missed the kneecap and Patella (big front kneecap tendon), but you could totally see that stuff. Took about a half a thumbs worth of meat. 4 hours in the hospital. 3 layers of stitches, 29 total.
    I'd REALLY like this POS husky to work properly. I'm REALLY disappointed Lowe's sold me this un-tuneable machine.
    It should be prominently advertised you can Not tune them manually. It says it is a "professional" grade saw. I do this for a living and now I'm laying in bed and hobbling around for a week or 2.

      I believe there is an idle portion for the reset as well. Once warm, start it and let it idle for roughly 30 seconds. It should tune the low-speed jet for idle. Then, do the rip to tune the high-speed jet.

    • @karlrovey
      @karlrovey 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I double checked. It's three minutes of idling (after switching to low idle) to set both the throttle adjustment and low-speed jet. Then, you do the high-speed reset.

      Any saw dealerships echo Stihl or husky old ones don’t work with new ignitions so if you get one get the newest available

    These auto tune saws seem like a PIA.

  • @canamrider7195
    @canamrider7195 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Can't you just run the saw like you would cutting firewood, and the autotune will auto tune? Don't see why you need to hold it steady and wide open throttle in a very long cut.

      Longer the pull the more "data" the computer gets and better it will adjust.
