To juggle walk throughs of various angles on the topic delivered to-camera, differnet content per topic from various folk underneath the umbrella of the track list of the larger big band concert itself is engaging and refined. @@msbunny8845 well, if you aren't genuine in the first place (eg u helped today becos u expect others to help u back someday) how can u expect to find someone who will be genuinely good to you?
Of all those who had been scammed (which I hv read so far) she is the only one whom I feel is really serve her right. Compare her responses with other victims, I feel that by right she should not be scammed, given the fact that she is far more analytical than others who sounded more gullible. She appeared to be a higher mangement level to me.
However she behaved irrationally as she is too blinded by wanting to earn fast bucks.

My sister is currently going through a scam and it’s literally happening exactly like this and she refuses to listen to anyone. It’s frustrating and I’m honestly at a loss for what to do next before it gets worse. Lucky she’s in the trust building stage and he hasn’t asked for money yet (as far as I know). I spotted this from a mile away, the whole family did and we’re trying to get her to cut the communication, but she will not listen. She trust every single word that comes out of his mouth. I hope we can save her before it’s too late.

      2) see how often they keep bringing up investment even after you have said you're not interested, scammers will keep bringing it up luring with high profits
      3) scammer may ask for financial help citing family problems as another way to get money
      4) NEVER download any apps suggested by scammer, not even for trial, not even to try try $5 investment .... the app may ask for registration or direct you to key in passwords inside fake banking log in page .... etc

Am an overseas Chinese and was in China setting up a small business with Chinese relatives as partners. After many years of running the business together, I realized that I was being cheated all along. Lesson learned: you can be cheated not just by a stranger, but also by a friend, even relatives. Sometimes, you're actually most vulnerable when cooperating with close friends and relatives. Hope to hear from anyone with similar experiences in China.

The longer you watch this lady, the more angry you get at her.
I'm gonna be blunt: this lady is too pretentious. Till the filming of this, she still seems to be in denial.
I can't believe she said what she did at the end; that she would confiscate all the $, etc if her friend was a victim.
Basically, she's faulting her husband and family for not confiscating things from her, implying they enabled her. Wow.
    She's all "I don't like him.
I was only interested in making friends, he was CEO of ceramics, I thought it's interesting. &
It was me who asked him to show me how to invest" 🙄😒
Seems to be making excuses for everything.
A lot of people like to make interesting "acquaintances". But we don't text & speak to them daily, many times a day. These scammers chat/talk on phone with victims for MONTHS before even bringing up investments.
This woman isn't honest to her husband.
Her husband is a very very good husband.

pls have some empathy. first, it's not easy for her to share such a painful and embarrassing incident. second, you are psychoanalysing/judging here. "seems to be in denial?" how so? she's coming out in a public interview to tell everyone, she's been scammed. how is that being in denial?
she's not making excuses, she's trying to explain her thought process at that time. give people more benefit of the doubt, because we all need that at some point.

Either she didn't say the whole truth to her husband.
Or maybe she didn't said the whole truth to us .

Stubborn, hard-headed, thinking he is some kind of investment guru. Finally, the scam made the papers and only then did he realize he was scammed. Singapore as a small country should take steps to prevent loss of individual money to scam especially using digital currency. Perhaps we can use some of the traditional security like the trusted "serial number" on old printed notes. This can be elevated to encrypted "serial number" for each digital denomination and if stolen or lost can be rendered void by issuing a new "encrypted" serial number for the specific individual digital denomination. This should be workable if the ASEAN country decides to adopt enhanced security measures for digital currency usage.

Singapore is targeted because there's a lot of loopholes in our laws and legal system ...
For example the maximum punishment for some scam cases, a person who scammed MILLIONS of dollars are only liable to be imprisoned for only up to about 7 years and/or fined something like $15k .... of course its still a good deal for the scammer as they come away still enriched by millions of dollars after serving those punishment !
Look at the case of the chinaman who took millions of dollars from an elderly and stashed much of those money into his China connections .... anther case is the CEO who swindled many millions of dollars with fake wine investment and return to sg only to face fines of a much lower amount, even with imprisonment of 7 years he still gets to live luxuriously on the surplus scammed money that he stash away elsewhere when he gets out ....

Yea, these scams are sooo low tech and pathetic. These people are idiots to fall for them. I remember reading about this HK tycoon that was scammed via a targeted campaign using hi tech tools, that was impressive. These scams are just crap, lolz

Because the Media and Institutions mostly say, that strangers and poor people can scam, not the white collars. And if they do not write correctly, can be a scammer. This is the mistake that leads to wrong judgments. The scammers can write properly, are graduated from universities, ...and speak very well. For example in Europe, they say if they do not write "I love you/Je t'aime" correctly, it's probably a scammer !
