Glad you get to cover these higher end Kinera products. Lovely shells, and they do their own thing with tuning which I appreciate. Like you say, there are times graphs can be deceiving. We are so used to judging the 100s of Harman-ish IEMs, one can overlook the more quirky looking graphs. But listening for yourself is always the ultimate test
Hi Akros! Those are really really sharp!! I am finding out I do have an issue with the fit of my mp-145 and penon 10th anniversary and having ear pain, went to the doc and found a serious ear infection, so I am stopping my hobby for now. A reminder for everyone to keep your iems clean and take extra caution if you have had ear issues like I have had all my life, can't tell you how many times I have had my ears irrigated due to infection/wax buildup so it's a challenge for me to wear iems during my workouts so anyways sorry for rambling on. There are a few iems that sound really good at or a little above $650, so best of luck to Kinera seems like a nice departure from something like an simgot ea-1000 which does have quite a bit of upper mid/treble energy. I wonder how this iem sounds with metal/alternative music?

Formidable review. I always wonder why the Kineras are rarely in the rating lists of many reviewers. Would you say the Verdandi is better than the Monarch mk3?

Do you use spotify to test your iems? I find that spotify adds a bit of extra bass to songs on my phone when compared to apple and youtube music.
I was interested in this but went for the UM Mest MK2 instead which is currently cheaper.
From the graphic, Verdandi seems very mid to upper mid focused with a lot of drop-off in treble and air regions. How does it compete in those upper frequencies vs other IEM around this price point you've heard?
Nice on high but lacks of ranges on low.. Peace!
Enough for me. I think some people won't feel the ranges on low lack too much unless you are really a bass lover😢
