I love how Mileena and Kitana are finally close. Both deserve it. Mileena has gone through so much hate for simply existing. Kitana has gone through so much pain from her so called 'family'.
The power of a fan favorite amazes even me. A million (rough est.) souls cried for her return after being killed off in MKX. While I'm aware of the mixed reception in MK11, I notice she's allot more "humanized" in her VS. dialogue and tower ending. Truth be told, Mileena had a shitty life. FG Liu made sure she is loved in his new timeline and accepted as Kitana's sister by blood and bond... until someone screw her over again.
@@ADTribalChild i think she got more humanized in mk11 cause she's not, in a way, influenced by Shao or Shan tsung. The other games, being a piece created by Shang, while being orderd by Shao was all she knew. In mk11 she had no story, so she did not need to think about her life with Shao. But more on her own. (And i swear to god, if she'll be screwde over in the next game, even in Liu Kang's timeline, it's officiall. She's bound to get heartbroken at least once in her life)

Mileena has a negative character with everyone and she deserves this attitude. Also in the old chronology, Mileena turned against Kitan out of jealousy. We see the same thing in this part..

You can also remember the intro of Mileena with the throne and the killed servants of Kitana. I don't think a loving sister would do that. Now remember Kitana's ending in MK9... Kitana > mileena. Raiden chose well to turn Liu Kang into the guardian with this being the result. Not only did they turn Milerna into a true sister for Kitana but they managed to add character depth by still letting her make mistakes.
Also makes sense why she was never in the in the Stress Test or Beta, as her intros would’ve spoiled it. It’s actually a genius move to make Mileena good as she’s beloved by the fan base.

As a Mileena fan I'm very conflicted. I love that she's in a loving family, but I feel like her clone story was more compelling. That version of her deserved acceptance from her "sister" but she was hated for simply existing. She had a Frankenstein's monster tragedy

theres actually a lot of voicelines about Jade, including ones where Geras and Liu Kang directly ask Kitana about her relationship with Jade, and where Kitana wonders how Jade is supposed to be so important to her.
