@@Benzolin Its not even that its his real name in Mk1. Its that Liu Kang amalgamated Havik and Dairou for some reason in this timeline. Possibly to attempt lessening Haviks probability of wanting all out Chaos across all realms, same reasoning he had to not make Chaos Realm.
Out of all the non-obvious characters (scorpion, sub-zero, kitana, liu kang...), the ones I really wanted to see high up in rank were Kenshi and Erron Black, I'm glad they made it to the top 15

I like how in MKX Bo Rai Cho was treated a tad bit more seriously and wasn't as much of a joke character. They also slimmer him down a bit so I think he's a bit more believable as a fighter, jumping around and stuff like that.
I loved Bo Rai Cho back in the day, friends had a hard time reading what I would do, and he was funny (if a bit over the top) I didn't realize he was supposed to have trained Kung Lao and Liu Kang though, that makes him a bit silly.
Shujinko is sad, he was just a young kid who was tricked into believing he was helping the elder gods save the realms and his compassion was manipulated. He lost over 50 years of his life.
Don Critic: Scorpion is the most iconic MK character Sub Zero who is the only character who has been in every single game, including having his own spinoff game: interesting In all seriousness fun list and to each there own lol
I agree that scorpion is the most iconic and probably the most well known especially for people who don’t play Mortal Kombat he’s easily the most recognizable but that’s not to say subzero isn’t close to that I just think that he’s more recognizable from people who don’t play Mortal Kombat
Subzero (pre-2000) was the iconic ninja. in the last 20 years Scorpion has become the most popular, with Zero having burnt out from bad games, unmasking and now there's two of him.

I think it's funny how the perception of Sub-Zero and Scorpion have changed since the original Mortal Kombat in 1992. I like Reptile almost as much too as long as it's the ninja version and not just some lizard creature. They sometimes toe that "the Wolverine(s) of MK" line but I don't see how they aren't ultimately just everyone's favorites. Everything about Scorpion and Sub-Zero is basically the essence of Mortal Kombat. My elderly mother doesn't know Mario from Sonic the Hedgehog but even she knows Scorpion and get over here and what game he's from..
I actually dig Kollector's design a lot, both visually and the very unique moveset. I really hope he gets more appearances in the future because right now almost all of Shao Kahn's allies are very BIG LOUD IN YOUR FACE kind of villains where as Kollector has more of the sneaky man in the shadows vibe. So at least he has kind of a unique space for now. He's got potential.

Both Chameleon’s are characters who would both benefit extremely well from coming back in the next game with the increase of both male and female ninja’s....Honestly, you could probably also make a robo-Chameleon nowadays, the characters have potential, but just can’t be used right no matter how they show up
Absolutely love this list. Random point to make but I agree with the comments about Fujin. I remember seeing him in MKX and wondering why they had him in the story but not as a playable character. He was at his absolute best in Aftermath though and he felt SO cool to play as. Sincerely hoping we see him again soon.
@DracoSlayer 7714 Liu Kang = Bruce Lee. Johnny Cage = Jean-Claude Van Damme. Bo Rai Cho = Jackie Chan. Kenshi = Keanu Reeves. Also, both Shang Tsung & Raiden were inspired by characters from Big Trouble in Little China which alongside Enter The Dragon were the 2 movies that hugely influenced the first few games in the MK franchise. Shang Tsung = David Lo-Pan. Raiden = Lightning, one of The 3 Storms.
I feel like Shang Tsung is my favorite. He's the right way to do a "betray everyone" type character. He constantly gave off the feeling that he was getting to be a better person in Aftermath. Seeing him constantly evolving as the game goes on during the last chapter makes you feel like you're witnessing a universe crumble. Shang has so many good qualities and a fun moveset that I legitimately prefer him over Shao Khan when it comes to the villains.
well especially since with shao kahn, while not by any means dumb, is still just an outright evil conqueror. you know exactly what to expect. meanwhile shang tsung is a conniving, sadistic, evil bastard and they use him so perfectly in the games
I think the fact that Bi han was completely innocent when it comes to the slaughtering of the Shirai ryu makes me like him even more. Simply because of the fact that his entire existence is caused by one huge misunderstanding. And that one misunderstanding was the catalyst to one of the biggest rivalries in fighting game history. It all just makes the significance of his character much more appealing to me since he essentially represents the bitterness and anger that came from Quan Chi's meddling as he became a servant for the person who ruined his life.
I think a great thing about Mortal Kombat as a series is that even though I disagreed with nearly everything on this list I was still like "you know I can see why you'd like them". The characters have tons of personality that you can fall in love with so many of them
Erron black seems to be killing all of the crappy ps2 era characters. we see him drop hsu hao’s head in mk11. and in mkx intro dialogue he tells kano that he killed kobra. I’d like to see this become a running joke sense the ps2 era really had some shitty characters that I wouldn’t mind seeing get killed

I agree but Liu Kang as the face really only lasted for mk 1 and mk 2. His position was neutralized once they introduced Kung Lao and in arcades across NY it was obvious and it was a wrap. Mk3 everybody was their own leading character at this point to where Liu Kang was almost ignored as a playable character but his fatalities saved him. Mk 4 is GOATED 💯❤️🔥
Liu Kang was only the "face" the creators pushed as a lead. EVERYONE else was on the Sub Zero/Scorpion train. Liu Kang couldn't be a more generic, boring character.
Your top 5 is so close to my own top 5, it's crazy: 1. Scorpion 2. Shao Kahn 3. Sub-Zero 4. Noob Saibot 5. Ermac Great list, several things I definitely disagree with, like Kung Lao at 41 (he'd make my top 15 for sure) but the list was well thought out and explained. It makes me want to make my own top 100 list for MK!
Nightwolf definitely had a more structured role than simply being Native American since Deception... He was actually pretty important in Deception’s endgame. And in many ways MK 9’s
Out of all the new characters from 9, 10 and 11, I really like Erron Black, he just feels like he belongs in the franchise, I always want to see more about his back story, and the fact that he has a history with Skarlet just seems interesting, the thing that gets me the most, is his quotes about his childhood and past, it makes it sound like he was horribly beaten by his parents as a child, Outworld effectively gave him life and purpose, and that is why he chooses to stay. I could see Erron Black taking on an Anti-Hero role akin to that of DC's Deadshot. Erron Black is easily in my top 5. 1. Sub Zero 2. Mileena 3. Ermac 4. Erron Black, 5. Johnny Cage
Would love to watch a remake of this now that MK1 is out. The game took Baraka and Havik into my top 20. Havik's moveset especially is so gruesome and imaginative, it's a joy to watch.
Baraka has always been one of my favorites. He was great in MK11 imo. You could put together some great combo strings. Not quite my main, but I did go to him a lot when I wanted to change things up.
Shao Kahn’s spot is rightfully deserved, he’s one of my favorite characters. Even though he’s not great in MK 11, he’s apparently my most played character. One of the things I always love about a story is the villain. Especially when they’re actually entertaining, or when they make you want to pummel them into oblivion
I can't believe he wasn't number one. If it was anyone else though, I'd say Scorpion is definitely worthy of the spot. Quick joke for you, "Yo momma so ugly, even Scorpion was like, "Stay over there!"
Reiko, in the movie, was based on his appearance in MK Armageddon. Which was silly, as that look was supposed to be his "imposter Shao Khan" look as a bodyguard to the emperor.
I agree enough with most of the list. But I think Triborg was an amazing character personally. Really showed how dangerous Cyber lin kuei is. On top of that a great way to get the cyber ninja's in the game without making it feel cheap. Loved the video though, it's a great watch! Well done.
mileena being the highest placed woman on the list is so deserved. she’s such a developed character i can’t wait to see more of her in the next storyline of the game. she is the female face of the game.
I didn’t like her new story from mortal kombat 9 and onwards. They reck her and kitana. She wasn’t created 10,000 years after kitana but instead during Kitana’s infancy. And thus they grew together even tho they didn’t get along very well. Other than that yeah Mileena has a great arc and is a cool character. Definitely deserved a top 10 spot.

Apparently it upset alot of people when they made him more "reptile like". First time I saw him like that, i kinda agreed, but he got cooler in later games I think. His ground fighting style in one of the game was badass, creepy and hard to read.
Tanya at 70? Bro you crazy Tanya’s story arc was awesome when she betrayed Edenia to join the brotherhood of shadow and becomes ambassador to the deadly alliance. Her being an opportunist and managing to survive through all the way to the end of Deception even aiding the dragon king Onaga made her one of my favourites from the original timeline.
@@mavadofgc2840 hmm I’m not sure her gig was just a traitor, if I remember correctly her farther was the ambassador to the new realms and when she invited the refugees (shinnock /Quan chi brotherhood of shadow in disguise) into Edenia she was corrupted by Shinocks beliefs and thus allowed them the power to overthrow. She was more of an opportunist than a traitor I think Tanya was pretty smart with all the events leading to Armageddon. She was a survivor and and she new her realm was pretty much doomed. I liked how she became an ambassador for the deadly alliance similar to her fathers role and how she new the best decision was to align with the dragon king when he was brought back from the dead after the deadly alliance and heroes all were killed. She new how to play the game and managed to survive until Armageddon which can’t be said for the majority of the cast.
One thing you didn't mention about Erron Black: He's 150 years old. Somehow he's been blessed (or cursed?) with long life by Shang Tsung. Or at least, that's what his MKX ending states. And his "sands of time" bombs play into that theme also.
This video was extraordinarily fun and interesting. It struck a great balance between being exhaustive and fast-paced, which made a 99 character ranking bearable to watch in one sitting. Great job Mr. Don and keep up the good work, I will most definitely watch more of your content.
Of the new Characters in MK10 Takeda was my absolute favorite. I think he deserves to come back. Placing number 2 and 1 is a question friends can argue hours about, simply the greatest rivalry in video game history to me.
I love this list. And while I disagree with some of the rankings, like I think Kenshi should have been higher on the list for example, it's personal preference, and like comments before, I can see how this list came about. There are so many interchangable characters and backstories, as varied as the games and stories are, that it's hard to nail down a definitive list. It will forever change as stories and game development changes, and that is in my opinion one of the most glorious things about Mortal Kombat. There will always be debate, there will always be fans and haters of the different characters. Mortal Kombat will never die and I'm here for it

Firstly, thank you for this. I appreciate the time and energy that went into making the video ! Second, we have way too many unused Characters here with great potential that keep getting overlooked by bland and overdone characters like Sonya , Jax , Johnny, Shao Kahn , ect.. which is a shame. I want to see more from characters like Serena, Ashrah , Nitara , Rain , Fujin , Tanya , ect.
2023 edit - I plan to remake this list once all of Mortal Kombat 1’s DLC is out and available Thanks to everyone who watches this video and an even bigger thank you if you watched it to the end. This video has been in production for over a month. I’ve played the 11 main Mortal Kombat games the most these past few weeks than I’ve ever dreamed I would. Analysing every characters movesets, their backstories, their tower endings, everything. Then to write the script but keeping it within reasonable watch time also was difficult and took about a week to complete. 8100 words describing and ranking all 99 fighters. Then came the editing, 2 weeks of working full time and then coming home to work extra editing this humongous video. I had so many clips from so many games that it really felt overwhelming and I couldn’t have gotten through it without your support in the comments of my community posts. To say I’m burnt out from Mortal Kombat would be an understatement. So again, thank you all so much! And more regular uploads will commence shortly. @ASAP.69 both of them had a massive impact on the story and both are ogs with amazing movesets and incredible backstory. Sonya is maybe the steryotypical savage woman but she also has alot to offer, sacrificing herself and Jax has one of the best personality in the game also with his metal arms and his backstory and how he got a revenant but got revived and his role in mk11is also just perfect
Darrius was my go-to guy in MK Deception, purely because his moveset was swift, and you could change it with his stance change at the flix of a button...

I started this video with concern, assuming I’d be let down because it seems Mileena is sold short so often. She is genuinely my FAVORITE female fighter in the history of MK and I was ecstatic to see her so high up on the list. I genuinely think I agree with most of this, I was a little disappointed to see Cetrion so far down because I do enjoy the way her character looks and played into the story, but I’m not a fan of actually playing *as* her. Super neat video, friend. I enjoyed it.
I'd definitely put Mileena in the top 10. She was my fav in MK2, but since then, I've gotten more into Kitana and Sindel. But Mileena has a great story, interesting powers, and I love her costumes in MK10 and MK11. She feels so belonging in this universe.
I actually prefer most the old characters over the new ones, all the kids( Jessie, jacquie, kung, ect) feel boring or like watered down versions of the old characters. As for characters like kobra they have potential to be great characters if expanded on. The biggest one to come to mind is the vampire.
I think characters like Mavado, Nitara, Havik, Li Mei, Ashrah, Hotaru, and Onaga are cool and could be brought into the newer universe. Also Tsu Hao, he seems like a cool character too me honestly.
Didn’t realise there were 99 character as of MK11 until I realised that you included guest characters and characters from MK vs DC a game even some of the creators admit they dropped the ball on.
MK vs DC was so bad.. But it did lead us to the Injustice series where all these DC characters are WAY more fun to play as than they were in the MK vs DC game. Good list and super impressed with the amount of effort to just do a list for a roster like MK. It's so big and you gave time to everyone. Great video!

Sindell wasn't always evil like in 9, but it was retcon. She was originally a loving mother to kitana, but couldn't stand being shao Khans wife, so she killed herself. She eventually was resurrected and saved kitana from Onagas clutches. Then the retcon of mk9 and 11 happened and now she's just evil 😢

Really compelling list. I love how much thought went in to trying to rank these because with so many ranking purely on personal taste would be impossible and probably not very interesting. The way you treat the guest character is interesting, it does try to rank the guests on the same level as the MK cast, but I also feel like people in our hypothetical MK8 universe I'd rank the entirety of that game below Meat. They weren't allowed to do much with them, to me all the value in that game came from the novelty and even then I came away pretty disappointed.

I absolutely love this list and the amount of effort you've clearly put in. Really enjoyable to watch. The only thing I would say is that I think you underplayed Sindel. She was probably one of the most complex characters in the 3D era, with the revelation that she was forced to be Shao Kahn's wife and her reunion with daughter Kitana and aiding the forces of good. Mk11 obviously undid this work by making her a generic evil sorceress, the outrage from the fandom reflecting her popularity.

I agree with most of the list too! 1- I feel sad for Reptile, I used to like him so much in early Mk games, but he went down after MK4 U_u 2- I don't feel the same with guessed characters in MK. Predator, Jason, RoboCop... They're a bit boring for me. I don't mind like if there's one per game... But having 5 in Mk11 and not being Ermac and Reptile... That hurts. 3- Mileena top 5?! YASS!!! I hate how they practically butchered her character to what she is now, and then aftermath has the audacity to make her seem like she was how she was but then made her a twist villain and back to ignoring MK Deception.
Fire God Liu Kang is definitely my favorite version of the character. Reptile is my go to in every game he’s in, his force bubble helps me out quite a bit. Kind of awesome that my favorite character Kuai Liang has now become Scorpion in MK1.
How is create a fighter here? It is everything and nothing. It’s limits are that of your imagination. It’s a realm of mind, possibility, hope. It’s better than mavado at least🙂
I felt like Geras was super badass. He’s an earth bender. Super yoked. Has countless years of experiencing death and learning from mistakes. Is damn near invincible (because everyone can be killed in MK in some way). Has really cool moves and combos. Most of all he’s unique and super chill. I feel a bit sorry for him as well in a way. I hope he stays in the franchise.

I loved Bo Rai Cho back in the day, friends had a hard time reading what I would do, and he was funny (if a bit over the top) I didn't realize he was supposed to have trained Kung Lao and Liu Kang though, that makes him a bit silly.

Yeah, Scorpion is definitely #1 in my book as well. He's the first character that comes to mind when I think of Mortal Kombat. Iconic character, hands down.

I think it's funny how the perception of Sub-Zero and Scorpion have changed since the original Mortal Kombat in 1992. I like Reptile almost as much too as long as it's the ninja version and not just some lizard creature. They sometimes toe that "the Wolverine(s) of MK" line but I don't see how they aren't ultimately just everyone's favorites. Everything about Scorpion and Sub-Zero is basically the essence of Mortal Kombat. My elderly mother doesn't know Mario from Sonic the Hedgehog but even she knows Scorpion and get over here and what game he's from..

I actually dig Kollector's design a lot, both visually and the very unique moveset. I really hope he gets more appearances in the future because right now almost all of Shao Kahn's allies are very BIG LOUD IN YOUR FACE kind of villains where as Kollector has more of the sneaky man in the shadows vibe. So at least he has kind of a unique space for now. He's got potential.
Definitely an overlooked character in MK11. He even had a basic move that was extremely broken in the vanilla version.

Absolutely love this list. Random point to make but I agree with the comments about Fujin. I remember seeing him in MKX and wondering why they had him in the story but not as a playable character. He was at his absolute best in Aftermath though and he felt SO cool to play as. Sincerely hoping we see him again soon.

I feel like Shang Tsung is my favorite. He's the right way to do a "betray everyone" type character. He constantly gave off the feeling that he was getting to be a better person in Aftermath. Seeing him constantly evolving as the game goes on during the last chapter makes you feel like you're witnessing a universe crumble. Shang has so many good qualities and a fun moveset that I legitimately prefer him over Shao Khan when it comes to the villains.

I think the fact that Bi han was completely innocent when it comes to the slaughtering of the Shirai ryu makes me like him even more. Simply because of the fact that his entire existence is caused by one huge misunderstanding. And that one misunderstanding was the catalyst to one of the biggest rivalries in fighting game history. It all just makes the significance of his character much more appealing to me since he essentially represents the bitterness and anger that came from Quan Chi's meddling as he became a servant for the person who ruined his life.

Liu Kang was only the "face" the creators pushed as a lead. EVERYONE else was on the Sub Zero/Scorpion train. Liu Kang couldn't be a more generic, boring character.

Out of all the new characters from 9, 10 and 11, I really like Erron Black, he just feels like he belongs in the franchise, I always want to see more about his back story, and the fact that he has a history with Skarlet just seems interesting, the thing that gets me the most, is his quotes about his childhood and past, it makes it sound like he was horribly beaten by his parents as a child, Outworld effectively gave him life and purpose, and that is why he chooses to stay. I could see Erron Black taking on an Anti-Hero role akin to that of DC's Deadshot.

Shao Kahn’s spot is rightfully deserved, he’s one of my favorite characters. Even though he’s not great in MK 11, he’s apparently my most played character. One of the things I always love about a story is the villain. Especially when they’re actually entertaining, or when they make you want to pummel them into oblivion

I agree enough with most of the list. But I think Triborg was an amazing character personally. Really showed how dangerous Cyber lin kuei is. On top of that a great way to get the cyber ninja's in the game without making it feel cheap. Loved the video though, it's a great watch! Well done.

I didn’t like her new story from mortal kombat 9 and onwards. They reck her and kitana.
She wasn’t created 10,000 years after kitana but instead during Kitana’s infancy. And thus they grew together even tho they didn’t get along very well.
Other than that yeah Mileena has a great arc and is a cool character. Definitely deserved a top 10 spot.

Apparently it upset alot of people when they made him more "reptile like". First time I saw him like that, i kinda agreed, but he got cooler in later games I think. His ground fighting style in one of the game was badass, creepy and hard to read.

Tanya at 70? Bro you crazy Tanya’s story arc was awesome when she betrayed Edenia to join the brotherhood of shadow and becomes ambassador to the deadly alliance. Her being an opportunist and managing to survive through all the way to the end of Deception even aiding the dragon king Onaga made her one of my favourites from the original timeline.

@@mavadofgc2840 hmm I’m not sure her gig was just a traitor, if I remember correctly her farther was the ambassador to the new realms and when she invited the refugees (shinnock /Quan chi brotherhood of shadow in disguise) into Edenia she was corrupted by Shinocks beliefs and thus allowed them the power to overthrow. She was more of an opportunist than a traitor I think Tanya was pretty smart with all the events leading to Armageddon. She was a survivor and and she new her realm was pretty much doomed. I liked how she became an ambassador for the deadly alliance similar to her fathers role and how she new the best decision was to align with the dragon king when he was brought back from the dead after the deadly alliance and heroes all were killed. She new how to play the game and managed to survive until Armageddon which can’t be said for the majority of the cast.
I started loving Nightwolf so much after Aftermath. Before that, he just felt like a Village People member that somehow got into the tournament

I love this list. And while I disagree with some of the rankings, like I think Kenshi should have been higher on the list for example, it's personal preference, and like comments before, I can see how this list came about. There are so many interchangable characters and backstories, as varied as the games and stories are, that it's hard to nail down a definitive list. It will forever change as stories and game development changes, and that is in my opinion one of the most glorious things about Mortal Kombat. There will always be debate, there will always be fans and haters of the different characters. Mortal Kombat will never die and I'm here for it

Thanks to everyone who watches this video and an even bigger thank you if you watched it to the end. This video has been in production for over a month. I’ve played the 11 main Mortal Kombat games the most these past few weeks than I’ve ever dreamed I would. Analysing every characters movesets, their backstories, their tower endings, everything. Then to write the script but keeping it within reasonable watch time also was difficult and took about a week to complete. 8100 words describing and ranking all 99 fighters. Then came the editing, 2 weeks of working full time and then coming home to work extra editing this humongous video. I had so many clips from so many games that it really felt overwhelming and I couldn’t have gotten through it without your support in the comments of my community posts. To say I’m burnt out from Mortal Kombat would be an understatement. So again, thank you all so much! And more regular uploads will commence shortly. Keep smiling, stay hydrated and see you in the next video!

@ASAP.69 both of them had a massive impact on the story and both are ogs with amazing movesets and incredible backstory. Sonya is maybe the steryotypical savage woman but she also has alot to offer, sacrificing herself and Jax has one of the best personality in the game also with his metal arms and his backstory and how he got a revenant but got revived and his role in mk11is also just perfect

I started this video with concern, assuming I’d be let down because it seems Mileena is sold short so often. She is genuinely my FAVORITE female fighter in the history of MK and I was ecstatic to see her so high up on the list. I genuinely think I agree with most of this, I was a little disappointed to see Cetrion so far down because I do enjoy the way her character looks and played into the story, but I’m not a fan of actually playing *as* her. Super neat video, friend. I enjoyed it.

Mileena MUST be near the top. She’s earned it. But I miss Sareena. Upset they teased her and even put her in X as an unplayable character.
I'd definitely put Mileena in the top 10. She was my fav in MK2, but since then, I've gotten more into Kitana and Sindel. But Mileena has a great story, interesting powers, and I love her costumes in MK10 and MK11. She feels so belonging in this universe.

I actually prefer most the old characters over the new ones, all the kids( Jessie, jacquie, kung, ect) feel boring or like watered down versions of the old characters. As for characters like kobra they have potential to be great characters if expanded on. The biggest one to come to mind is the vampire.

I think characters like Mavado, Nitara, Havik, Li Mei, Ashrah, Hotaru, and Onaga are cool and could be brought into the newer universe.
Also Tsu Hao, he seems like a cool character too me honestly.
Looks like MK1 is going to hopefully bring those dreams come true, friend.

Didn’t realise there were 99 character as of MK11 until I realised that you included guest characters and characters from MK vs DC a game even some of the creators admit they dropped the ball on.

MK vs DC was so bad.. But it did lead us to the Injustice series where all these DC characters are WAY more fun to play as than they were in the MK vs DC game. Good list and super impressed with the amount of effort to just do a list for a roster like MK. It's so big and you gave time to everyone. Great video!

I really wish they’d focus more on bringing back all the characters than adding ones like Joker and Batman. A waste of space, in my opinion.
Love the video. Definitely would’ve put Tanya higher- but that’s biased as she was one of my mains in mkx, however I find her attitude and fighting style to be intriguing so I hope they do more with her
Sindell wasn't always evil like in 9, but it was retcon. She was originally a loving mother to kitana, but couldn't stand being shao Khans wife, so she killed herself. She eventually was resurrected and saved kitana from Onagas clutches. Then the retcon of mk9 and 11 happened and now she's just evil 😢
Is she good in the MK1 game? I haven't played story mode yet but heard she was good.
I don't want to spoil the story for anyone but I wanted to say that I really liked Sindel in MK1.

Really compelling list. I love how much thought went in to trying to rank these because with so many ranking purely on personal taste would be impossible and probably not very interesting.
The way you treat the guest character is interesting, it does try to rank the guests on the same level as the MK cast, but I also feel like people in our hypothetical MK8 universe I'd rank the entirety of that game below Meat. They weren't allowed to do much with them, to me all the value in that game came from the novelty and even then I came away pretty disappointed.

I absolutely love this list and the amount of effort you've clearly put in. Really enjoyable to watch.
The only thing I would say is that I think you underplayed Sindel. She was probably one of the most complex characters in the 3D era, with the revelation that she was forced to be Shao Kahn's wife and her reunion with daughter Kitana and aiding the forces of good. Mk11 obviously undid this work by making her a generic evil sorceress, the outrage from the fandom reflecting her popularity.

1- I feel sad for Reptile, I used to like him so much in early Mk games, but he went down after MK4 U_u
2- I don't feel the same with guessed characters in MK. Predator, Jason, RoboCop... They're a bit boring for me. I don't mind like if there's one per game... But having 5 in Mk11 and not being Ermac and Reptile... That hurts.
3- Mileena top 5?! YASS!!! I thought I'd see her lower ranked and felt disappointed. I'm glad you ranked her that high, she really deserves it!

I agree seeing too many guest characters that weren't a part of the franchise it hurt me bad when they literally gave Ermac a redesign that was epic asf in mk11 and he didn't appear in anything other than the Krypt

I hate how they practically butchered her character to what she is now, and then aftermath has the audacity to make her seem like she was how she was but then made her a twist villain and back to ignoring MK Deception.

Fire God Liu Kang is definitely my favorite version of the character.
Reptile is my go to in every game he’s in, his force bubble helps me out quite a bit.
Kind of awesome that my favorite character Kuai Liang has now become Scorpion in MK1.

How is create a fighter here? It is everything and nothing. It’s limits are that of your imagination. It’s a realm of mind, possibility, hope. It’s better than mavado at least🙂
I felt like Geras was super badass. He’s an earth bender. Super yoked. Has countless years of experiencing death and learning from mistakes. Is damn near invincible (because everyone can be killed in MK in some way). Has really cool moves and combos. Most of all he’s unique and super chill. I feel a bit sorry for him as well in a way. I hope he stays in the franchise.

Wow I never got that pun before!! Haha, but I say Mayan in the video as in the comics, it even shows him ruling over the Mayans... so either they got it mixed up in the comics or he was seen as a god to both? I’m not sure. Thank you though 🙂
@@DonCritic I've never read the comics, but I kno for sure that he's NOT Mayan. Unless he took over the Mayan empire as well. I kno he's Aztec for a fact because his entire image screams Aztec. Don't believe me? Type in Mayan Warrior in Google images, then type in Aztec Warrior. Compare the two images and then tell me which one kotal resembles more. I think NRS fucked up on that part. Lol

I know you can get them online from WHSmith or other online book stores... orrrrrr they way I read them (and all my comics 🤭) is through a website called Readcomicsonline, which has them all there for free, just search Mortal Kombat X 😄👍
