Mortal Kombat 1 is a fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. It will be the twelfth main installment in the Mortal Kombat series, serving as both a sequel to Mortal Kombat 11 (2019) and the series' second reboot, following Mortal Kombat (2011). The game is set to be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Windows and Xbox Series X/S on September 19, 2023.
Mortal Kombat 1 has been confirmed to feature a story mode, online multiplayer with rollback netcode, and offline gameplay. The game will introduce a feature called Kameo Fighters, which will provide assistance to the player during fights. These characters will be separate from the main roster, and chosen before each fight. Additionally, the Air Kombat combo system which was featured in both Mortal Kombat: Armageddon and the action spin-off Shaolin Monks returns, and is being refined for this game.
As of the game's announcement date, it has been revealed to feature reimagined versions of characters such as Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena and Kenshi. Shang Tsung will be offered as a pre-order bonus. Six additional characters and five kameo fighters are planned for post-launch release via the "Kombat Pack" downloadable content, which also includes a skin for Johnny Cage featuring the likeness of Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Kameo Fighters are a unique roster of partner characters to assist during matches, creating expanded gameplay possibilities for players. These characters are chosen separately from the main roster of fighters.
Some characters can serve as both kameo fighters and main roster fighters. Guest characters can even serve as kameo fighters.
Mortal Kombat 1 is scheduled to be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on September 14, 2023 for those who have ordered the game's Kollector's Edition and Premium Edition, while purchasers of the Standard Edition will be able to access the game on September 19, 2023. - เกม

I like how, in Mortal Kombat, being a god doesn't make you invulnerable or mean you can't get tackled. It gives you mystical powers and puts you on another level, but you still need to back it up with skill and vigilance to prevent being taken down.

I love the heroic villain varients , Sheng tsung is actually polite instead of a manipulator , shao in his time line was probably an actually positive uncle and father figure to kitanna , Milena , Reiko ,and Rain and Skarlet and all of them were good friends because of it , Rain lived a positive life and was content , Reiko wasnt groomed , Nitaras people didnt over feed or found an alternative to drinking blood , havok braught about a positive chaos.
The Shang that you play as in this mission is the bad Shang from Liu Kang’s timeline btw

ya know what is interesting if you watch the scene closely, Takeda was the only one that wasn't killed. Kung Jin got his throat slit, Jaqui and Cassie got their heads sliced off to make it clear they were dead as well but Takeda was just stabbed and tossed down. HIs story could easily be he wants revenge

I don't think they had a choice assuming they came from the shang tsung time line they probably have been turned to evil as during aftermath everyone from the good side got either killed or captured by shao khans faction..

I find it funny the absolute bafflement of the character seeing Kitana getting lunged while the camera panning to an absolutely cursed version Johnny never ceases to be funny.
Reiko and Nitira actually sound genuinely humble. It would be interesting to see good versions of these characters in the story.

So many characters response were similar ie “ thank you Kitana.” Have they lost creativity here in the final chapter? I like the whole concept n mk1 n am a big fan of mk series but the final chapter appears too mushed up without a structure. Anyone can be anything ! I value the rationale but feel the delivery is a bit lacklustre.
