Disney Princess Songs - MOVIE vs MUSICAL comparison

- A little comparison video of various Disney Princess classic hits as performed by the singers in the respective films versus singers playing the same role in musical theatre.
When I say 'musical' it encompasses Broadway, West End and pre-Broadway/Disney Cruise line theatre productions - i.e., any theatre production which was personally handled by the Walt Disney Theatrical company or had its executives supervising it.
The comparison consists of 11 rounds, featuring the following songs :-
- Someday My Prince Will Come - Snow White
- Feed The Birds - Mary Poppins
- Part Of Your World - The Little Mermaid
- Belle - Beauty And The Beast
- A Whole New World - Aladdin
- Can You Feel The Love Tonight - The Lion King
- God Help The Outcasts - The Hunchback Of Notre Dame
- Journey To The Past - Anastasia
- When Will My Life Begin Reprise - Tangled
- First Time In Forever - Frozen
- Let It Go - Frozen
I also tried to include as many live performances of the original movie singers as I could find, so as to make the comparison even (since all the musical theatre versions are sung LIVE)

What I love most about every stage adaptation of a musical movie is that it’s a homage to their predecessor but they add their own styling to it so they are not being copy cats. It’s like they want you to fall in love with their version as well but have the same love for the original.

I love Anastasia, but isn’t she not Disney? Not even that she’s not an official Disney Princess, but she’s not in a Disney movie, or am I totally wrong on that?
No Disney made a film not many people remember or have watched it though
But Disney’s logo isn’t on Anastasia the movie or the musical. I just looked it up and it says it was done by Fox Animation studios. Which I guess that means that Disney now owns the rights to it since Disney acquired Fox, but it wasn’t originally a Disney movie.
Erin R it is technically not a Disney film since Disney bought the rights to 20th Century Fox after the film was made. All the films before that are not Disney films🤷🏼♀️

This type of videos have becomed your signature, and I. SO.STAN.IT. As always, it gives me the chance to challenge my judging skills (?), then I bore you with a elaborated analysis of each voice, you politely and patiently answer me, and in the meanwhile you earn 200k views and 400 subs more. I don't think the system should be any different from now on, so here we go.
R1: You can't put my queen and goddess Julie Andrews to sing a fave Disney song and not expect me to vote for her. Ooh this was about Adriana, right! She's such a cutie, but Mary Jo is so royal and elegant. A tie.
R2: Julie Andrews. Nuff said. Also I prefer the more lullabylish approach of the movie version.
R3: When it comes to voice and singing skills both ladies rank the same with me, but I prefer the movie instrumental.
R4: Susan Egan makes a more teenage and excited Belle than the dignified Paige, and the former works better for me on the character.
R5: I really love Lea Salonga' live performances, and Courtney sounds too spoiled, even for Jasmine.
R6: Heather's deep voice is like a tribal drum, she manages to create a magical atmosphere in just seconds.
R7: While I love Heidi's lullabylish approach to the song, Ciara sounds so passionate! However seeing her singing creeps me out, she almost doesn't move + has her sight fixed on a random point...
R8: I must say that Christy's face looks NOTHING like I imagine Anya to be. But her passion and acting convince me SHE'S Anya!
R9: Elisha's version has zero momentum and zero atmosphere, it looks almost parodical. So this time I'll stick to Mandy.
R10: My main problem with Broadway Anna is that she's clumsy and awkward in a really ungraceful, sexualized, almost obscene way. It's funny to see it at first but at the end it gets a bit tiring. I'd rather have Kristen's more teenlike and innocent Anna, thank you.
R11: Idina's "belting" makes my throat hurt. Her voice sounds downright sick at the end. Caissie sounds wayy healthier and prettier.
