Great serie of lessons. For a beginner (in jazz) it is good to concentrate on the basics root-3-7 in open voicings from a lead sheet. Although when you play these “basics” right it already sounds pretty good. My challenge is to find the 3 and 7 fast for a random chord. I still have to think to long to find them and it should go more or less automatic. But i will get there. Practise ….
Thanks Maestro (as always...): it's weird (counter intuitive...) that a half diminished chord born into an Eb diatonic scale could resolve so nicely into Cmaj7... so I'm looking forward to the next episode to learn more. A nice weekend to everybody 😊.
