I can't thank you enough for doing these videos, I began exactly my piano journey 14 days ago with a well known and reputable adult self learn piano book, after day 2 I became incredibly bored, no disrespect to it's curriculum but this is almost like having to read Shakespeare in high school, a student quickly loses interest. I figure if you're going to play then it needs to be enjoyable, im teaching myself, I approached music in a totally unusual and unorthodox method of learning theory (3-4) hrs every night for 10 months before I purchased my keyboard. I can personally say it's paying huge dividends now, however still loads to learn.

Hi Jonny, I just ran across you via looking up Rod Miller for nostalgic reasons, as I knew him on a guest basis back in my Disneyland hay days, you know, like the 90' and aughts when you were still a sprout I am sure. Anyways, are any of your lessons on your website geared towards a beginner? We have a rickety old piano here in our LBC home that needs some love ;). Do you still play at Disneyland? Let my pass expire, but will renew when Star Wars Land debuts. I am no spring chicken anymore, but looking to keep my middle aged mind sharp with new challenges. Stay well and limber.
