- Since I had to delete this video a month ago because the owner of this car wasn't happy with the previous video, here you are it again.
I'm always amazed when I saw a little car that is able to keep up with powerful and more expensive cars. And this little sleeper Fiat Cinquecento is one of those. Modified by the guys of Swap Team it features a 1.4 T-Jet engine with I don't know many horses but I'm quite sure their not so many. And considering how little it is, the power to weight ratio must be great.
Watch it in action during two different trackdays at two different tracks!

ragazzi avete la mia massima AMMIRAZIONE , siete riusciti in qualcosa di impossibile, potenze del genere su vetture cosi scadenti di telaio le vedi solo ai dragday ma solo sui 400mt, invece voi non solo siete riusciti a dare potenze e affidabilità tali da reggere "MONZA" ma siete riusciti (non so come) a farla frenare e curvare e staccare supercar anche sul guidato !! Che dire.. VI ADORO !! Siete la mia ispirazione da ora in poi !! Smack :*****
My sister had a Cinquecento Sporting as a first car I loved it. I had to replace the in-tank fuel pump and coil packs on that. was a great little car.

La fiat a un super châssis,ce qui en fait une tenu de route exceptionnelle.
J,en ai une sx un peu préparée,c,est un vrai régal par contre la New 500 la tenu de route laisse un peu décevante.

Finally someone on TH-cam uploads a sleeper that looks like a sleeper. That thing looks like it wants to kill them every time the driver taps the brakes

@@carlosimone2181 tralasciando il fatto che un Audi Q7 ha sicuramente un coefficiente di resistenza aerodinamica inferiore ad una 500 che per essere magnanimo paragonerei a quello di un preservativo aperto fuori dal finestrino in autostrada, ti consiglio vivamente di seguire il consiglio di BonScott riguardo il saper stare in mezzo alla gente e già che ci sei dai anche un'occhiata alla definizione di "ironia" e "sarcasmo".

The garage I worked in had a Fiat Cinquecento sporting courtesy car I was asked to pick a lad up after he dropped a customers car off was going to take something else but lad said take you'll need it to keep up he shot off hammered that thing , put a big smile on my face , tried to get it when I went out , it got crashed a few times , but not by me .

boh..se il deltone è originale i però, lo fa a pezzi....da preparato...dev essere bello preparato perchè questa qua ha il peso di una piuma e a quanto vedo hanno fatto un ottimo lavoro anche per "sterzare" in curva. Devi ammettere che non si tratta di na cagata buttata li...l automobilina è fatta bene per divertirsi anche nelle curve...

c'è a chi da fastidio peer i più svariati motivi, da "mi clonano la targa" a "ci giro anche in strada e non è proprio road legal", oppure per chi sbatte non farlo sapere all' assicuratore ecc. . Se siano giustificate o no, ognuno la pensa come vuole

how much horsepower and weight?
Marco Engelken Around 850 kg. HP i'm not sure...A Fiat Bravo with the same engine as 150HP so i suppose it is somewhere around that.
the fiat Cinquecento sporting weight in stock form, about 730 kg, but with a new engine swapped (1.4 T-Jet from fiat abarth late models) the probable weight is in the 780-800 kg region. For that performances i think the car is making around 180-220 hp. In the 2009 a group of friends modified an identical car for street racing (but with the original engine, only little stroked to 1.2L from 1.1L and of course, turbo) and the car was very fast, with all the necessary to handle that power, the car was performing about 250km/h of top speed compared with cars that speed was stock reaching. In a Drag Racing the car best time was 13.1s (400m) and 176 km/h final speed, if do you check, these are the numbers of a BMW M3 V8 with 420hp, exactly the same! in that moment, the car was performing about 200-220hp.

Yes, many owners during Track Days here at Monza put a cover or remove them before heading inside the track. It seemed a little strange to me the fact the front plate was "hidden"/replaced with that sort of advertising plate showing their logo. But since the rear one was still there, I thought there were no problems.
Showing/hiding them is one of the reasons I started to record more race cars than street-legal ones back in the first years of my TH-cam activity. Doing the right things means I must remove them all in order to avoid any kind of problem but, as you said, it costs me too much editing time (especially when you have to follow the car from fences, poles and other obstacles). So I have to evaluate a bit the circumstances and decide wheter to risk or not. The fact is: more race cars, less problems ;)
