the menu on the side of the layer doesn't appear on my AE anymore. Any idea ?
If you are not seeing the column to tick Motion Blur, right-click in the header area above the Layer Panel and select 'Switches' and that should do it. 👍
@@MikeMurphyCo thank you, i was looking everywhere for this !!
@@chudiarys Awesome! Glad it helped! 👍
@@MikeMurphyCodo you know how to fix it I don’t see the layer anymore
@@vincentcloudfx You need to have Switches open in the Layers Panel. Click the little icon in the bottom left corner of the AE interface to ‘Expand or Collapse the Layer Switches Plane’ and then you will see Motion Blur icon. You also have to enable it above the Layers Panel.

Did you have a question or something you needed help with?
nothing happens for me, does easy-ease have to be used..?
No. Easy Ease is not required to use Motion Blur. Be sure when you tick the box for Motion Blur, you also tick the Motion Blur icon above the Layers Panel. Motion Blur is subtle, but you should see it when there is movement/animation. 👍
Thank you. I don't see anything happening, but it's not an important problem, I just added Directional Blur on the layers I needed it on. It's just interesting as I've never gotten motion blur to work I think, from AE7 to CC23.@@MikeMurphyCo
