In this After Effects motion graphic tutorial we are going to be taking a look at how to use motion blur in After Effects for beginners. This beginner After Effects tutorial will go over sampling, shutter angle, and other basic concepts with motion blur. I used to have to manually animate the motion blur with directional blur some years back in Sony Vegas. While in after effects all I have to do is check a box😂

Btw the reason it didnt change the motion blur at 5:00 is because he needed to change the shutter angle in the pre-composition instead of the main composition

How do you "pre-bake" movement in a Pre-composition?
That is I have stabilized some high shutter speed footage on a point track. I have pre-comped the footage, the null object and transform movement that stabilizes the footage.
But when I apply Force Motion Blur or Pixel Motion Blur to the precomp in the top Comp it blurs the image from the transform movement within the precomp, not the movement still present in the footage post stabilization.
I have already looked at a few tutorials and this seems to be one of those things that is so simple that no one talks about it. Like just click this toggle in this buried menu. The only thing I can think of is to export the precomp and bring it back into the project.

motion blur for animation in film is a process in the 3D software. not added or synced later. BUT....can motion blur be added to a video affecting only the moving pixels in the video....or can it only be applied to moving objects in AE

friend, I do not get the option of the square that makes me give the effect, which if I have is the one with the motion blur symbol, but I do not know how to be active or anything (squares inside the file)

i didnt like how unprepared this video is. you werent ready to teach it correctly, and made a lot of mistakes that would confuse a beginner, just my personal feedback.
