- Air to spring conversion in a Land Rover Discovery 3 (2005)
This is an overview of what came in our kit to disarm/remove the air suspension electronics module in the vehicle and still have a working OBD II port.
Part 1: • Air to Spring conversi... - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Great video, I bought a used LR3 and it has the conversion but they did not do the module, I think this module looks much easier to install than the British Atlantic, I just need to find a dealer in Las Vegas.
Thanks for the comment! Yes if you can get it in the states, brit part and dunlop are very very good! Greetings from ireland 🇮🇪
Were you still able to use the terrain response system without the module bypass? I am looking to convert mine with a brief used set of coilovers but there isn't a module with it, thanks and have a great one😎☕️
The control module bypass sends an “all good” signal to the ECU to allow the terrain response to be able to function properly
Without the signal to say the air suspension is working the terrain response won’t work correctly for sure
Where do I buy that module from
Hi, thank you for the video, my LR 3 is coil converted and i need only the disarm kit to eliminate the EAS alarm and to enable terrain response on my discovery 3. Kindly any advise how i can buy the disarm kit only?
I’m not sure you’d have to go to Dunlop directly I think
Grate video mate, do you have to get blanking plugs for the external connections or can you just disconnect?
What do you mean by the external connectors?
@@maxautouk sorry mate the valve block on the front bumper and where the compressor was positioned
@@joshlovell4277 just leave it all as is
@@maxautouk thank you for your reply
No problem
Where did you buy them
Just from eBay! It is a Dunlop kit
This kit covers the range rover sport to ya
Yes I believe it does cover the Range Rover sport too
@@maxautouk iv been on to a lot there in donegal there to get bk to me on the kit there not sure was there problems with the code mod for the sport
As far as I know it’s interchangeable but I do wonder if the shift control module and special programs modules might be slightly different on the Range Rover models so might be subtle differences
Hi bud where did you put the earth wire to?
When you ate facing the steering wheel it’s on the earth stud in the drivers footwell on the right. There is already an earth there all you need to do is remove the nut and drop your eyelet on and put the nut back on. If you’re not sure if it’s a ground or not, connect a jump lead to battery positive and then clip the other end to a rear light, if you touch something and the light illuminates it is grounded 👍🏾
Hi great video on the module there is two loose crimped wires what are they for please?
There are two wires I can think of for power and ground, one needs to go on the ground post on the drivers side footwell and the other goes to the corresponding pin on the OBD2 connector… did your kit not come with instructions?
Hi thanks for getting back to me much appreciated, I bought the kit 2nd hand so I haven't got the instructions I'm now left scratching my head.
Oh I see is it a Dunlop kit?
@@maxautouk hi yes it's a Dunlop kit mate.
