Hi, is this the 2.0 mvec petrol or diesel? Thank
It is the 4N14 Diesel Engine
Looking to buy a grandland like the car, but this is a very badly designed engine
Do the spark plugs stay in untouched for the process? .Great video man! Have the same engine on my Note.
Yea the spark plugs are threaded into the cylinder head, not the valve cover 🙃
@maxautouk Thank you for this very helpful reply man!!
I have same sound but on car start 1 Gair 2 but above 3 normal sound
Baujahr von Skoda ?
What a fucking cowboy breaking all the cable clips you haven't got remove the battery you just undo the engine mount and the intake manifold comes out
Any engineer would know that crank bolt was tight enough at 90degrees after torque setting! No need for all that effort!
It is crazy tight!
And engineer would know that crank bolt was ample tight at90 degrees after torque s
What did you do to fix this ?? Did you just take the balance shaft out or did it need replacing ??
Head gasket mate 😮
Hello, Sorry but where on earth is the drain? I’ve been trying to figure out where you filmed it from for the last 5 minutes
Its on the passenger side (uk) of the car behind the wheel arch liner, you have to remove the wheel and wheel arch liner to get at it
Great video 👍
Thank you for your wonderfull video☺👍
Good stuff
What holds the middle to the car?
great vid thank you! I'm pretty sure this is what is wrong with mine!
Fantastic thanks
“I think this is a 19mm nut if memory serves me correctly” he says with a 18mm spanner in his hand doing up the nut! 👍😂
Any videos on sunroof glass replacement ? - due to rust and leaks. Thanks
Cuales son los números de las dos(2) correas
Another great video 🍀💚👌🇮🇪
Bad video he don't want that nobody see him
What?
At how many Km do you recommend a change?
That was a really good video, thank you kindly 🇮🇪🍀👌
Thank you! Greetings from county Fermanagh!
Is it bad if you run the car with the tank being empty?
😢
Sad times
Do you know is it important to change by same part number? Or nevermind?
Yes this part is not plug and play
🤦🏻♂️🤮
Yep
Peugeot 2008 1.2 Puretech ES PURA BASURA
Yes!
Actually had to replace these on a Berlingo Multispace, (identical) the ABS ring went out of round with corrosion underneath causing ABS to activate on the left wheel. Top tips would be to clean up the CV joint surface with a dremel so its rust free and heat up the new ABS ring in the oven. 200c at 15min. I didnt have to remove the CV joint did it on the car, the new ring slide into place with a 2 or 3 light taps.
Great tips thanks!!
Great, clear video as always.
Thanks again!
I used this video to swap out a faulty indicator, £12 off eBay and about an hour of effort. Only thing that gave me bother was the sneaky screw under the steering wheel, took some persuasion! If you are reading this, the other comments help with removal of the airbag and how to separate the windscreen wiper stalk. Thanks again
Thanks for the comment!
How many hours is that job. It looks more work than the ford ecoboost
Im not sure because of filming but id say between 5-8 hours
131 16 cc
What is that?
Didnt know such abs ring may get damaged. Clear video but I wonder why the hammering at 2:58. Isn't it causing damage to the joint?
Its the stub shaft of the axle that is held in the vice the constant velocity joint was free to move and not subject to any impact😁 also the hammering is very very gentle or you would damage the abs ring Same applies to hitting it when its fitted in the car as long as you are careful not to damage the threads
Maxautouk is right regarding the hammering. That was gentle hammering. I have lost count on seeing a variety of tools and hammers used to drive the shaft back. It depends on how long the drive shaft has sat there without being touched and also if a mechanic has already been in, depends if any lubricant has been applied.
thanks man for this video. I have a volvo s40 with a 1.8 engine and its almoste impossiple to find a video where they have a timingchain instead of a belt. This wil realy help me out thanks
No problem!
Mestre gostaria de saber quantos litros de óleo de caixa manual entra no Nissan micra k11
2.8-3.0L 👍🏽
Can I got your what's app no
Had this same problem 3 years ago AA man didn't find fault , I found it myself done the same as you , great channel 👍
Thanks for the comment! Sometimes just think AA guys dont try very hard anymore lol
Really great video, thanks 😊
Glad you liked it!
Don't 'click' your torque wrench several times, once would already be the correct torque. Great video though, makes me mentally ready to tackle this job... just need that press!
I hope you get on well with it! Clicking the torque wrench is the yield in the spring which stops the force of the handle being transferred to the square drive Youd have to go really ham on it to tighten it further (unless its 1/4 low torque)
Thanks for the nice video. Last year a friend renewed the clutch and flywheel on my mondeo mk3 and since the I see fluid on top of my gearbox. How is that possible?
Might have been sat in the webbing from when it was replaced it does happen
Where did you get 25nm for Idler and Tensioner? - I hope you used some Threadlocker because that's way too low. and if they vibrate loose then Goodbye engine!! Z16XE (engine used in older Astra G) = 20nm Tensioner 25nm Idler Z16XER and Z18XER = 20nm + 120 degrees both Tensioner and Idler pulleys.
Did this job two and a half years ago and there have been no issues, also this procedure came straight from Vauxhall and i followed it to the letter as always
Hi, do you have any recommendations on what the best brand is to buy parts from for K11s?
Blue print are quite good for Japanese spares but you can wrong if you stick to known good brands like bosch, delphi, aisin etc
any idea where the cam sensor is on this engine,?
Not off the top of my head sorry
Why do you chisel in the hubnut after torquing it up?
It has an indentation to stop it from coming loose from vibration - if is a safety feature
