So, after a few weeks of driving I’m noticing zero difference in handling or or suspension feel. The only slight negative I can find is that when I hook up my 3000LBS camping trailer I get 1” of drop in the rear.
Mike, I'm thinking of doing the same to my 2007 LR3 but I want to hear from you and see if 2" is enough of a lift. I would like to get a 3" left but I have not found a OME 3" coils. Let me know or post some pictures if you can, would like to see how 2" looks like.
Hello, I added a very cheap donut spring spacer in the rear to help when my trailer is attached. It lifted the truck approx 1.25”. And was super easy. I would install the kit and drive for a bit. If you need more, you can easily install these spring spacers. The ride was still great after a few months.
nice video. seeing mistakes is great....we all do them. is the wiring obvious? That's what scares me....wiring. I love my LR3.....but also hate it, just because of the regular air suspension faults.
My husband changed the coils on my 2006 LR3 on his last off day (so last week), started the car and it turned on drove fine. Now the engine won't turn on and the rover shows suspension fault code. He hasn't overrode the module yet. Does he need to do that next for the engine to turn back on?

Arrrgh! I have an 05 and its gone the full slammed good for nothing, I'm going springs or bonkers, whichever comes first
Mike for the front bolts I removed the heat shielding and used a long extension to remove those.
Yes, that’s what I did but only on driver side.

Great video. Do you have to leave the OBD dongle plugged in all the time or just once?
Hi, it’s not the ODB port. It’s another plug that has to be hard wired into the ECU as shown in the video.
The ODB port is open.

I was scared of wiring but slowly went through instructions and it all worked. Yes, love the truck but there is always some issue in chasing.

I would strongly suggest your husband read the books instructions and do the installation properly.
