    Thank you for this video!!! I have been looking all over for a comparison between the perfromance and LR version. the 0-60 comparison was awesome! I'm just curious, you said both cars get pretty much the same range, but shouldn't the performance version have a range of only 280 miles and the non performance version 316 miles?

    • @mitchman54321
      @mitchman54321 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      280 is an estimate not epa.. the 316 mile range is achieved with 19s the 20 induction wheels bring range down to the 300 mark.

    • @KLWTTS
      @KLWTTS  4 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      In my experience, both cars achieved an identical ~300 watt hours per mile over the 400 mile trip at highway speeds. I’m betting the lower estimated range is brought down by mostly city driving on the larger 21” wheels

    So, you're seeing a real world highway range of 220 miles for both the cars, give or take? Much lower than the 320 EPA estimate. Is that because you guys had AC on and were driving non-conservatively? I was expecting 250 miles of range on the "long range" assuming around 280wh/mile... Do you think the 19 inch wheels provide 10+% of range increase?

    Great video! How did the ride comfort compare on both vehicles? Was the performance model comfy enough for long journeys?

      @KLWTTS  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Comfy enough yes but I prefer the non performance for longer trips.

    Any noticeable ride quality difference?

    • @KLWTTS
      @KLWTTS  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, the 20” inch wheels and higher suspension is more comfortable on all road conditions. The 21” wheels on the performance suspension rides like a sports car

    The upgraded wheels on that long range affects/drops the mileage.

    My guess is you were greatly exceeding the speed limit on your handling test. The narrow roads you used with limited sight distance are full of bicyclist currently and the combination of fast driving and bikes is super dangerous. Most locals are driving at significantly lower speeds on these roads than 10 or 20 years ago and you should too.
