I dated a girl 10-12 years ago who went to NYU and majored in Music and Psychology wanting to be a music journalist. She then got her masters in Public Communications at Fordham. She eventually gave up on that when she couldn’t make a living and became a high school chemistry teacher. She now has $150k in student loans. _PLEASE CHOOSE YOUR MAJOR CAREFULLY_
wow. amazing video. i appreciated various aspects including the dynamic conversation established by the interviewer. NYU sounds like a great school! maybe i should visit 🔥
wow. thank you alitalib6555. I sincerely appreciate your elaborate feedback and amazing commentary upon the film. you sincerely aid the overall awesomeness of this comment section. you should come visit NYU. it will be a fundamentally great experience.
It depends. It helps, especially if you have some subjects on the lower side (like me). But if you're like my friend who gets A++ in almost everything, they won't care as much about extracurriculars. If you don't have any EC's, my teacher put it like this: "When schools see you have no extracurriculars, they know who spent that time on schoolwork and who put it in fooling around."
U forgot to answer the questions lol u should give a copy to school and do more of these lots of good advice id love to hear ur friends answer these and Sophie should be in more videos shes awsome
@@lxxy05 theyre probably referring to Early Decision. Basically instead of applying regularly (this year the deadline was on January 5h), you can apply to ONE college via ED (for NYU it was Novemeber 15th i think). They let you know whether you got in or not by Mid-December so if you get rejected, you still have enough time to apply for other colleges. IF you get in however, you HAVE to go, like by applying via ED, youre committing to go to that school, so be sure that its actually the school you really really wanna go to. Theres also this unspoken rule where nobody reeeally knows whether its true or not, that colleges appreciate you applying early and committing to them, therefore being more likely to get accepted, which is what the person above was referring to. But take that with a grain of salt.
as an NYU Tandon Grad student…my ACT was 23, didn’t take the SAT, and came from Mississippi. IT’S POSSIBLE!
lets gooo
Can I ask you some questions as someone who’s thinking of going to NYU?
