Although there is no typical day at NYU, our students will share about some of the sites they frequent and what makes NYU the perfect place for them.

NYU student. It sort of is, it's kind of like a soft campus. Most buildings are located in only a couple blocks around WSP. There are some buildings further out, like by Union Square, but for the most part if you see a block around WSP most of the buildings are NYU
Yeah New York in general needs concentration camps
If you go to Washington Square Park during a class change, you will see how much NYU has taken over the area. The streets are filled with students. It definitely feels like a campus, but then go a couple blocks and you're right back in NYC. Definitely the best of both worlds.

My second kid just accepted into NYU few days ago on the ED2 with 50K a year of scholarship. After seeing all the comment here, my tears just come out. The passing year, really a bumpy ride for me. I must involve too much. I work so hard, to push him to the limit. I work together with him for the SAT and subject SAT math level 1 and 2. at least more than 30 times of practice test. I know he is a very smart kid, but smart is not enough, you have to have score to put on the table. I immediately pay the $500 to accepted the admission, I smile at him and told him that hopefully when I wake up tomorrow, it is not just a dream. Wish you guys all the best.

it's never too late, baby I'm 53 & I'm willing to give it a go regardless, especially now with that full ride med school thing I figure, what the hell whether or not I do anything I'm still gonna be old so, why the hell not? right now I'm on hiatus from the local community college here in Rochester, NY MCC due to a chronic physical issue which I hope to addressed & alleviated soon, it's never too late until you're dead & if you're worrying about what the younger students might think of you being there don't, that's not what your goal is, screw the popularity contests of life & do what calls you at the very least you'll get to die happy & at the most you'll get to do what you love for a few years, ride it 'til the wheels fall off, I always say

As a student or professional. I'll use Netflix as an example for a professional. If you're a content director, you will make 250,000 dollars a year, so long as you actually make something. That's just an example, though.
The highest they've ever paid a student was for nursing. They paid 85,000 dollars a year, I believe. Maybe not a year.

I still wish I could have enrolled at NYU as an undergrad, but I'm an incoming senior at Temple University now. It would have been such a great opportunity to be there.
Really AMAZING campus. I fell in love with NYU campus and scenery six years ago when I first went there for NYSSMA Chorus tests (one for each year for 3 years) with my middle school chorus group. We were the first group in middle school to be able to obtain silver metals (two of them on top of that). In my senior year, we tried to work hard to get gold metal, but sadly we got bronze metal. But we reckon a gold metal is almost impossible for us to get. Haha. The scenery and the mesh of different cultures evident on the streets gave me countless inspirations. Different departments and fields showed us as if there are many possibilities and choices to choose from. It gave me a sense of comfort, awe, freedom and hope. Ever since then it has been my dream to go there as a student. I hope I would be accepted into nyu in 2017 and study business or art. :)

I´d also LOVE to study In NYC and of course.. the NYU is the best option, but.. its impossible for me to Found that tuition, for obvious reasons.. so, i wanted to know how hard is to get a scholarship..How´s your GPA, everything you can help me.
i got a full ride with a 3.9 GPA on the weighted american scale for engineering. they also factor income, and on paper my family is very poor.
