    How do you add 2 or more recordings together? As in a music background? Or cutting in a video into a recorded conversation or a question brought up later? Thanks

    I’ve been watching some of your videos looking to start my podcast later this week & have a few questions i’d be so grateful if you could help me out! When using 2 USB mics & an iphone to record the video how would you connect the mics to iphone? Or would you record the video on iphone and record the mics on garageband for later editing separate then combine the 2?

      Hi there, great to hear you from you. Well there are a couple of ways you can do it Depending how hard or how easy you want it to be. So first of all if you use this app Podcastle it will merge take care of the audio and then you could record the video on your camera with another iphone then bring the video and audio footage together in iMovie to edit it as a video podcast. If you want to record it all in one go on the one device you would need to get some kind of audio interface to plug two microphones into. That's going to be hard to find using USB mics on an iphone. I have done it before using a zoom handy recorder plugged into my iphone and had two XLR mics plugged in to the interface. Can get costly and tricky to set up though. Other solutions for video podcast could be using software like ZOOM which records both video and audio and you each use your own device even though you may be in the same room as long as you wear headphones there will be no echo or feedback. Just some ideas to consider.

    Great video, thank you. If I record for longer than 45minutes on the free plan, will I need to stop the recording and start a new one, if it went for an hour or so...? Then blend the 2 together...

    Question for you, can you send out the podcast links to guests weeks before the recording? I would want to put the podcast link in the meeting invite when i schedule it!

      I am pretty sure you can do that. If you click on the schedule option and set up the podcast for a future date you can then go into the edit mode and copy and past the invite link and send it to your guests.

    If I have one guest we will generate two separate audio tracks. Does the platform have the ability to do a mixdown into one combined track before I export it?

    Amazing! Once the podcast is done, will it give you the option to send it out to all major podcast platforms ( Spotify, Apple, etc...)
    Thanks for making this video 👏

      They don’t have a hosting and distribution component in the platform. One easy to use solution is Podbean. You can upload the audio file to it and set it to distribute to all major platforms. Another great hosting service is blubrry you can use their hosting or take advantage of a free Wordpress plugin if you want to host on your own server. Might do a follow up on that topic soon!🙏Thanks for watching glad you liked the video.

    Can you use 2 mics on one computer to record audio for the podcast along with interviewing guest

    • @Touchtechnologyreview
      @Touchtechnologyreview  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can use two mics in a number of ways. If you have XLR mics you need an audio interface to connect them. IF you have usb mics there is a way to do it using a software hack which I have outlined here for the Mac: th-cam.com/video/jw5dID426lI/w-d-xo.html For Windows there are other ways to do this.
