Quick question: could you please do a video on how to "merge" TH-cam and podcasting for those who want to bounce engagement off of both platforms? For example, your setup, camera, editing etc
I wanted to start since long but again lack of knowledge I was hesitant to start but now it’s great video I need little more information about camera setup and using same podcast in video shape for TH-cam
Thank you! I've been fighting against my anxiety for a long time to start a podcast. I believe I have information and great advice to share (I'm very good at helping small businesses)... I have no clue about the tools and equipment I'll need but your video has helped! Thanks so much 🥺 I hope I don't chicken out!!
This video provides a guide for beginners on how to start a podcast. The first section covers equipment, with the recommendation to invest in a microphone for better audio quality, particularly a dynamic microphone that can capture good audio even in less than ideal recording conditions. The Samson q2u is recommended as a budget microphone that is flexible with both USB and XLR outputs. The Shure mv7 is also recommended as a step up in quality, but with the downside of a less effective pop filter. The Shure sm7b is the highest tier recommendation for podcasters, though it is expensive and only has an XLR output. The second section covers software, with the recommendation to use a digital audio workstation (DAW) for editing and recording. The third section covers hosting, with the recommendation to use a hosting service that offers analytics and distribution to major podcast platforms. The final section covers promotion, with the recommendation to use social media and guest interviews to gain listeners. Overall, the video provides a comprehensive guide for beginners on the essential equipment, software, hosting, and promotion aspects of starting a podcast. ----From Notta's video summarizer
Myself and a friend do a side by side in person podcast using a FIFINE K669B USB. We are new to podcasting and the sound is good for one of us but not both.
Your content production value is way above your subscriber count - excited to see that number grow! What makes the Vocaster a better option over the cheaper Scarlett 2i2?
They’re super similar in price, if you go with the equivalent model. I prefer the Vocaster because of its focus on ease of use & integration into the content creation process. Both are solid options !

oh dear. I am less concerned about equipment, not sure how I can do my podcast where I am playing clips of videos (news) and commenting on them. How can I do that?
Have a question I'm working on my podcast, and i want to go live without a video but i still want to do my introduction. And then go right into my live audio podcast how can i do that The reason why i just want to do live audio is that i am a truck driver, and I don't have the room to do live recording but i am going to use my laptop
im having such a hard time to find the right microphone/audio solution for a 6 people just chatting stream (all sitting at a table, live). just had the blue yeti X (omni mode, but modes didnt matter in terms of actual quality tbh) and it is SO so bad, i cant even express how pathetic it is. i even bought another one cause i assumed the first must be broken. it wasnt. we also had a rode wireless ME setup which was okay, but pretty costly (~700€ in total). anyway. do you have any hint which mic i should look into? i feel like there must be a
A single mic setup for that many people is tough because it’s unlikely your voices will be going the same direction. I’d research what streamers with the closest setup to what you’re looking for are using.
Hi, i want to record video with my phone and record voice with dynamic microphone attaced to laptop. how to add them together so it doesn't look like it's been dubbed or is a voice over?
Plug your phone into your laptop and use a platform like Quicktime (on mac) or something similar that allows you to capture the video using the phone and audio using the microphone
Newscasters , talk shows all use clip on lavaliers or overhead mics and podcasters use mic's on boom stands. Why? I shoot on simple 3-way wireless mic's without stands. No clutter.

Welcome to the team, Colleen! Happy to have you here :). What’s your show about ?!
I’ll be teaching about the uses of individual essential oils, safety, blending. Each oil will be a separate podcast to begin

So good. Thanks. I like how fast you talk.
So glad you enjoyed it! Most don't like how fast I talk but luckily the speed is adjustable in either direction :)
I’m so confused by the audio and video here. Why does the video cut so much throughout your dialogue?

Hi what video equipment are you using for this video?
Have a question do you have a video on how to do a introduction leading into your live podcast
That would depend on the software you were using for the live stream. I would look up some tutorials on your software of choice
Love the advice do you offer coaching
We will be launching a group coaching offer very soon that will have do at your own pace course content and ongoing support !

If we have riverside then we need any other tool also like roadcaster? Or not?
Riverside is an online recording platform so it will capture through whatever tools you connect to your computer and activate within riverside !
I love how everyone kinda follows the same flow when setting up podcasts. Most videos all use the same equipment.
Awesome
what platform to use for video and audio for podcasting????
To capture audio and video I use riverside.fm or Descript

I’m trying to record audio from 3 wireless lavalier/lapel mics at the same time. Are you able to do that?

LOVE THIS BUT YOU TALK TOO QUICKLY! 😆 Had to slow down the playback speed.
Thats why they have the feature :)
Amazing tuition. You talk too fast, I know it been edited. Next tuition should be slow.
You can slow down the speed of the video
great info - irritating the way you go in and out - tone down the editing i believe will be better for your audience
Go in and out ? Not sure what you mean.
You have awesome information ,but please slow down. You're speaking way too fast

I appreciate your time to teach beginners how to podcast, but why do you talk so fast?
Slow down Bro.
You can slow down the speed Bro
I was watching your show. I am sorry but you are taking way too fast. That is a turnoff for me to learn what you are saying. Just way too fast.
I have ADHD so your speaking fast worked really well for me :)
Just slow down the speed. Problem solved
