    Love this. I'm a new Podcaster with no editing experience. I was worried about getting camera angles but your video showed me very clever ways of using one camera set up which is awesome. I'll definetly use your full tutorial to edit my first Podcast. I'll come back and let you know how I go on.

How would you do the multi cam switch and cut in this scenario? It would be great to see how its all done in Filmora 12 or canva pro too. Thanks so much Have a wonderful day :)

    Testimonial here - Steve's workflow works, and flows. I shot 1080p and still got good results. The one-camera hack is clever, and I think video for a podcast is the right use case for it. One note - my camera makes a new mp4 file every 20 minutes, so I had to figure out how to create a nested sequence, how to duplicate same and then re-position/re-size the clips (copy and paste attributes), and then how to create a multicamera sequence from the nested sequences. Thanks for the light Steve, I found my own way! I bought the workbook too, there are a few nuggets in there.

    • @podsoundschool
      @podsoundschool  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      YES 💪Thanks so much for the testimonial. So glad you're finding it useful AND that you got the workbook. Did you check out the Tubebuddy walkthrough? Also, one thing I like to do with 1080p sequences is EXPORT them as 4k to upload to TH-cam as a 4K video. I find the video quality turns out better - something about the way TH-cam encodes 4K, just makes the footage look much higher quality.

    How can we make the overall volume/eq/processing the same across the entire sequences after it's been chopped up? For _each_ person.
    I just have not found a video that shows or explains that well. Thanks for the video. 👍

    • @podsoundschool
      @podsoundschool  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ooo. That’s an exciting question! Premiere has wonderful features for that. I will have to make a video about that. There’s an audio mixer panel that lets you insert plugins on each ‘track’ or ‘channel’. There’s also a stereo channel where you can apply limiters to the entire mix. Premiere comes with some EQ and Compression plugins, but an even better option are waves plugins and they are super easy to install and use with premiere. I’ll keep you posted if and when I make a video about this. Thanks for the question.

    • @AG_before
      @AG_before ปีที่แล้ว

      @@podsoundschool Thank you for replying. 💯 I use a few wave plugins in Audition, which I'm more proficient at.
      But couldn't figure this out in Premiere. I'll go have a look. 👍
      _edit: I think I know what you mean. Apply the chain in the mixer for individual people and then have one master chain at the end._
