    I was wondering if crescent rolls could be made into doughnuts. Now, I know that they can. I do have a suggestion on your glaze though - a little vanilla extract (real, NOT imitation) makes it taste so much better. Also, since I was a little girl, I've always used the 4 to 1 measurement rule for cinnamon sugar. IE: 4 TBSP Sugar to 1 TBSP Cinnamon. That's been my "formula" for cinnamon sugar to use on toast, or in other recipes. I'll try your recipe of it at least once, though. TYSM for sharing this video with us. They look so scrumptious. 😋

      I agree with you on the real vanilla. It makes a big difference. It got so expensive and I bake so much for my channel that it just wasn't worth it. BUT I do prefer it. If you have a cinnamon sugar recipe that works for you than I say stick to it girl! I will try yours.

      @@mymomlife I know whatcha mean about the vanilla extract being so expensive anymore. That's why I TRY to make my own. I've gotten rave reviews, from family and friends, about a few desserts (mainly my Creme Brulee and Delectable Cookies) I've made using my homemade vanilla.. It's easy to make, and, cheaper in the long run after your initial costs incurred.

      Yes. I have made homemade once before. It does save money in the end.

    What temperature do you heat the oil at? Also, what is the best kind of oil for donuts?

    Was the crescent dough already sweet because the bucist dough I used wasn’t sweet

      Crescent roll dough is a little sweeter than biscuit dough.

    Could you just use the flaky layer biscuit dough and get the same effect

    • @mymomlife
      @mymomlife  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you could. They may be slightly different but that would still work for sure.

      I always use the Grands and it comes out perfect! Fry at 375 degrees and 1 minute for each side.
