My 98 yr old father has some diet restrictions and what he eats needs to be soft. I made the chicken crescents and he loved it. Before he was done he requested that I make it again. For the chicken I put an extra piece in the pressure cooker the night before in order to have chicken to use. Thank you so much for the recipe.

I'm in 100% agreement with you! I started watching another video on this topic but the unnecessary chit chat in a cutesy, cartoonish, overly exuberant voice were a turn off so I stopped watching and found this one.
This is exactly what I was looking for, a real cook with experience, giving good information I need to know! Her voice is perfect, and she's not chirping, "Please LIKE and Subscribe!!" every 2 minutes, which is annoying.
I did like and subscribe though, because I want to see what other goodies she's cooking up!

2 months ago I tried and wrote about my Dad enjoying the chicken croissant. On May 5 I started making a Mexican casserole with ground beef w/taco seasoning, black beans and cheese. When I went to assemble it I could not find tortillas I thought I had. I used canned croissants and assembled it like the chicken croissant. If I hadn’t tried the chicken croissants I never would have tried this. Again thank you for the wonderful ideas.

I found a very similar recipe for white chicken, using Greek yogurt and dill, with a little white vinegar. Then I put that in there like this and whew they were like gyros from a restaurant!

Here in the southern part of the United States where we live, they come in tubes in the refrigerated section. They have 2 kinds now, one that is "perforated" into predetermined sizes of a triangle, and recently a tube of just straight dough, with no perforations. I assume that once you've defrosted yours, you could do any of these recipes (or more, these are just some things we've done recently with crescent roll dough here). I would love to hear which recipe you try and how it works for you! We do have a Costco a few towns away, but we have a Sam's Club (another large warehouse store, in the same family as a Walmart) that is very close to our house, so we go there. They sell a four pack of crescent rolls, so I guess that's 32 crescent rolls in one box. A bit more manageable for the two of us, haha!! I hope you love the apple dumplings, and we have had several subscribers say that they make the same thing using fresh peaches in the summer, so you could probably substitute other kinds of fruit as well. You can never go wrong with crescent rolls! All of those things look really good; and I've made all of them except the one with chocolate chips and no air fryer here so I haven't tried the Oreos. You may have to make the Oreo for me sometime! I don't keep mini chocolate chips but this might be a good reason to buy some. Next time you'll have to show my crescent roll idea that is one of my kid's favorite things, Cinni Minis!

So many yummy looking things to try. Another use I found recently (but have not tried yet), is to cut the crescent rolls or sheets into 1/4 inch rectangles. You use these instead of Bisquick to make sausage cheese balls. The recipe is on Pinterest.

It's just been a lot more crazybecause of everything going on in the world when I left work earlier we had four packages of toilet paper left every time the governor of our state's on then everybody stockpiles. Well have a great nightand you probably have another video before Thanksgiving but if not have a great Thanksgiving

Yes, I think that same feeling is spreading everywhere, I'm hearing from friends all over the place that they are starting to see shortages and have trouble finding tp and other things again. And I've seen a bit of that here. I'm sort of going into more of a stocking mood myself, ha! We will have one this Sunday, but possibly may not have one up the Sunday after Thanksgiving, will just depend on time (but the holiday weekend looks to be quite busy). All the recipes look delicious. We don't have Crescent rolls here not that I can find anyway. All the recipes would probably work with frozen puff pastry. Happy day from Sally and the fur crew!😊❤

Now see, I can't figure these things out, because I would have thought that crescent rolls might be something you guys had there, but hot dogs would not be, and I'm just opposite and wrong on both, LOL! You're right, I imagine you can do a lot of the same things with puff pastry. I have that item on my "culinary bucket list" but have yet to try a single recipe using puff pastry. @@LetsCookYall We have frozen puff pastry which I use for quiches etc. I don't think it has as much body as Crescent rolls though.😊❤
@@superbellabeau Oh I agree, even though I've never worked with puff pastry, I assume it's much lighter and flakier. More along the lines of baklava than a solid sheet of thicker dough. Yummy, I adore quiches, but we can't use that word here, Tim won't touch it, LOL! Anything that is close to a quiche, I call it a "pie" so he won't be offended, haha!! 😜😂
That chocolate dip thing would be good with raisins instead

So I don't make or buy raisin bread, oatmeal raisin cookies, etc, because he wouldn't eat them. If that works for you to add the raisins, then I hope they taste great! You can make it half meat and half broccoli pizza that is something we do at my class that teaches us how to live on our own we sometimes do two different pizza but everyone seems to love my broccoli pizza more than the pepperoni pizza it's a white pizza because I can't have tomato sauce because I used to have ulcer which hurts so bad

@@LetsCookYall I am diabetic and I have to watch how much I eat I have to measure out what I am eating I stop eating sweet but I eat half of pieces of bread and half a cup of noodles and potatoes but my mom never measure my food out so I eat some and save the rest for another day
@Francesca Zoffuto - it sounds like you are doing great with managing your diabetes Francesca! Portion control and measuring things out (in cooking and especially with my finished product) are actually really hard for me to do.
