Lil'Smokies wrapped in bacon with brown sugar over top, baked at 350° for about 15 minutes is one of our favorite party foods. My 20 year old daughter asks for them for every party, get together and holiday.
Christmas Eve party we always make certain things….we love sausage and apples. We bake a family size country or breakfast rope sausage in a bit of apple juice. Once it’s done and browned a bit I use scissors to cut into bite size pcs and put them in the crock pot, then i use the scissors to cut up 2 cans of apple pie filling…then add them to the crock pot. Everything on low for a hour and mix it up during that time. Everything should meld together, hot and jammy! Love it!
Aww 🥰 love you two so very much you make me smile 😊 another great video 😀 I lost my lovely hubby last year he was only 46 he always made me laugh and smile I miss him every day 😢 I know that you and Bunkey love each other so very much it’s so precious xxxx
Smokies with a jar of chili sauce and a jar of apple jelly is the best. For the meatballs use grape jelly and chili sauce. Dump in crockpot and heat through.
Instead of brie, cream cheese with cinnamon and sugar mixed in the filling, would be like a tiny cheesecake bite! I would top them with apple butter for the fall season:)
First time watching... You two are so much fun to watch, and girl, that laugh of yours is priceless. In the apple 🍎 bite recipe how about trying a small peice of sharp cheddar. Kitty Babe
Maybe bc she used cream cheese in so many of the other ones? ALSO, she did a great job, but she forgot to remove the rind from the brie before cutting & putting it into the muffin tins. I hope she discovers it soon & posts a correction as that will ruin the recipe. This is the first time I've seen her & she's precious!
I wish my husband liked cream cheese like yours! Thankfully I spend my Sundays with my grand daughter and my oldest son and his wife love to cook with cream cheese, so I often get cream cheese in different dishes like jalapeño popper stuffed pork loin, or bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers filled with a sausage cream cheese filling. 😋. Thanks for sharing your yummy ideas.
I just came across your channel and I don't know who came first but it's startling how much it's like "Mandy in the making" you sound so much alike. Her husband Stephen is her tester and her cat Gracie walking around her feel looking for cheese scrap
Hey there, I have got to say I love watching your videos. Y'all crack me up! With Bunky saying; that checks all his boxes for a hand held goody and how he tried to tell YOU to make all 24! OMG, I just love how y'all love food & get so excited about tasting everything. Keep up the great work!!! Take care, Connie from Leesville, SC
Hi, these are all great, I made them in the oven, then we thought, hey I wonder how they would taste if they were deep fried. So I made a batch where I wrapped the crescent dough around the appetizer and sealed the dough and then deep fried them for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Yummm
Oh girl...I just found you and thank you Lord...I love you...get it girl your appetizers are just what I needed to find for the HOLIDAYS...Thank you..y'all are AMAZING!!!😍
I love crescent rolls and these are so delicious looking. I was looking for some new ideas for a holiday party. Happy to find and subscribe to this channel!!
Great ideas! I do these with breakfast bites. In a bowl add raw eggs, cheese, cooked bacon and sausage. Mix. Spoon into the dough in the muffin tin. Top with a tiny bit of cheese. Cook the same.
I’ve watched this several times and finally decided to make them. I only got 6 squares out of my dough lol but I think it was because my muffins Tim was too big because I also had to use 3 meatballs in each lol . Anyway instead of appetizers we ended up with dinner and they were fabulous. Love watching the bunceys!!
These look wonderful but because some in my family don't like the taste of the crescent rolls, I use pie crust instead. So your recipes I will try these yummmm.
Ok tried all of these... Couple of tips being 62, I like the cresent dough but... oh the calories. So Game day treats were a big hit as well as Green Bay finally winning. WE are chalking it up to these appetizers!! I made them all in the mini muffin tins. and since Pilsbury is so costly- used Walmart brand cresents. Yummy! every thing turned out yummy and were actually sized for snacking. I made the apricot/ brie and ALSO rasberry /brie and the apple carmel (chopped up in small pieces tossed in butter and brown sugar mixture) sized smaller we could all have variety of bites. I cut the cresent dough in 12 pieces and had to cut the meatballs in half and they were just perfect- the coctail weinies with jalepeno were good too, -- dough first then cream cheese mixtures on the bottom / meatball or (weinie &pepper )in the middle respectively, extra shredded cheese on top. The uniform size of all made a nice presentation as well. Will do this again -sized down of course. One tray of savory and one tray sweet.
Y'all are my favorite, when you're sharing a recipe. Love your cute laugh young lady and y'all are sooo adorable. Must try your recipes. I will. Blessings.
My sister and I just love y’all’s channel. We lost our mom almost 11 years ago and just lost our dad this summer. And when we needed a good smile/laugh/great food, we look at each other and say “ let’s watch the bunkys!” Y’all’s banter and the food is just the best. Much love from Richmond, VA!
Hey Jessica! All those appetizers look so yummy. Perfect timing for the holidays. I wanted to pass along a great sauce for meatballs or Lil Smokies. One 24 oz ketchup, one 12 oz beer, and one cup of brown sugar. So tasty! Simmer that sauce with either frozen meatballs and/or Lil Smokies until heated through...like an hour to cook off the alcohol, and enjoy! Love from Texas ❤
Hi y’all from Waco-next to tamales, Lil’smokies in wrapped in Crescent Rolls or in bbq sauce always says Christmas. Seemed like that was the only time of year we had those haha don’t know why!❤
Thanks for sharing all of these! Yum! I love all of your videos! One thing I do when a recipe calls for cream cheese that has to be mixed with other things…I use whipped cream cheese! So much easier to combine with other ingredients!
So my family does a breakfast crescent ring with maple sausage and cream cheese! I make it so much since it's so simple and fills that spot of breakfast for dinner 😊
All look & sound so very tasty! Thanks very much for sharing :-) My family Loves appetizers, so I will be making your recipes over the holidays! New to your channel. Ýou're such a darling young couple. 💞
1st of all New Subbie here 😋 You are a Doll..I cannot wait to try all these recipes with my Mom & my Daughter who both LOVE to cook with me..also, when my Sister was pregnant she and her Husband decided to not find out the gender of the baby because there aren’t enough surprises in life 😉 so I felt odd calling the baby “it” - so I just randomly started saying “Bunkey” well Miss Bunkey is now 11 years old and YEP we still call her that..Just thought I’d share that little story with y’all..I cannot wait to watch more of your videos..I think you are so Cute and I LOVE your laugh…Thanks for sharing, and for making me smile ☺
I do not eat what I saw so far , I want you to know that the personality of you both make the show fun to watch nice couple .happiness from the island in the Caribbean
Those appetizers look so delicious!! Definitely going to try them. You and your husband are so adorable! I love all the little things you do for each other all the time!! So sweet you two!!
Those looked yummy! I don't know what to make first! I just love Bunkey! He gets so excited to eat whatever you prepare and he's always so complimentary!
Sue here: all these snack appetizers look scrumptious! Bahahaha - your Bunky and Mandy's husband (Mandy in the Making) describe food flavors the same way - they're twins!!! Both you couples have fun presenting the food. ☺️🤸
Yum! I want to make all of these. They all looked so good. And Bunky talking about his grandparents and the little smokies, so sweet. My sister live in Chesapeake, Va and I live one the Eastern Shore of MD. Liked the shout out to the Chesapeake Bay.
I love your laugh and how much Bunkey appreciates everything. If you make the crock pot of smokies with BBQ sauce, use a can of jellied cranberries instead of the grape jelly. Tartness of the cranberries blend well with the sausages.
Those appetizers were the perfect treat for us cheese lovers and then you gave us the Brie/apricot bites...that just made me think of my mom and her “cheese log” at Christmas time, brought back memories! Just ❤ watching you & Bunkey share stories awww his bbq smokies, that’s so sweet! You two just make me cheered up after an exhausting work day!! ❤❤
Hey Jessica! Watching those scrummy looking appetisers being cooked made my mouth water. I really have to make those, because I know my kids will love them. A funny little fact for you, if you didn't already know - Here in the UK we use the term 'pigs in blankets' for sausages wrapped in bacon. Or anything finger food wrapped in bacon is classed as a 'blanket', while if it's wrapped in pastry we call it a 'duvet'. 😊 I can't wait to see what other recipes you do. 😋
I made Lil Smokies with BBQ sauce and grape jelly for our Youth Group Christmas Party in 2020. They never made it to our church. We had a last minute tornado drop down. So we shared them with our neighbors afterwards.
When bunky was talking about the grape jelly and ????...I make meatballs with a jar of chili sauce and a jar of grape jelly. Delicious! It goes great on little smokies too. Love your Vids!
You can drain the ricotta over night in a colander with some cheesecloth. It will remove excess moisture. And you can still cut it with cream cheese if desired.
I buy my groceries delivered when I get low on the the food when they add money to my credit card. which is every 3 weeks of the month. but my sister has a friend she comes to my house every Tuesday and gives me and my niece good food 🍲. I'm up to my eyes with spaghetti sauce and pasta!.
YES! We also make pigs in the blanket for breakfast, they’re so great to make ahead especially during the holidays when you have a week of planning your holiday dinner , another breakfast staple that’s also an appetizer is sausage balls, again make ahead and crazy as it sounds when we eat them for breakfast we warm up some jalapeño jelly to dip them in , ooooo so delish , I personally like the cranberry jalapeño jelly during the holidays , I’m so excited the holidays are coming 🎃 🦃 🎄 , good food and making great memories with your family Can’t wait for more videos , thank y’all for inspiration ❤ from TX
The brie appetizers look delicious!!! But instead of putting salt on the top, I would have put a tiny bit of real crumbled bacon. Everything's better with bacon, right???😋😋😋 PS: You have such a wonderfully supportive husband! But why wouldn't he be...you keep him so well fed!!! 🥰😉❣
This is the first time I’ve seen one of your videos. I want to try all of them for my kids for the holidays. They all look so good. And you and your husband are so sweet!
Hi Jessica, thank you for sharing looks delicious saving for later. May I ask what eyeshadow you wear it looks natural and so pretty have a great weekend Bunkeys! God Bless
Love all these!! Yes Bunky...my favorite way to eat lil Smokies is the original way.. bbq sauce and grape jelly..my grandchildren love them. And I like them them cooked for breakfast too. 😋
My hubby loved the jalapeno popper pigs in a blanket. I made some without the jalapenos because I can't handle hot and spicy things. They were delicious!!!!!
Everything looked so yummy 😋. I love story time with Bunkey and your love for each other shines thru just so precious....I love your laughter makes me happy watching you and your hubby ♥️♥️♥️ God Bless you and your family and Thank you for sharing ❣️❣️❣️🤗🤪😆

Lil'Smokies wrapped in bacon with brown sugar over top, baked at 350° for about 15 minutes is one of our favorite party foods. My 20 year old daughter asks for them for every party, get together and holiday.
Substitute Truvia Brown Sugar for those who are diabetic and cannot eat real sugar.
@@ruthmanor70 that is excellent advice!

I made these but with whole berry cranberry sauce, pecans, and a sprig of rosemary, for either Thanksgiving or Christmas appetizers
Aww 🥰 love you two so very much you make me smile 😊 another great video 😀 I lost my lovely hubby last year he was only 46 he always made me laugh and smile I miss him every day 😢 I know that you and Bunkey love each other so very much it’s so precious xxxx
Little Smokies in a chili sauce and grape jelly reduction. Very retro... very tasty.
OMG! I chopped the jalapenos and added them with the cheeses. I also used the triangles with the smokies.
Smokies with a jar of chili sauce and a jar of apple jelly is the best.

@@jennifersignsoflife1375 technically you are supposed to leave the rind on. I don’t care for it raw, but baked it’s delicious.

A pepperoni in the bottom would be a nice addition to the mozzarella meatball cupcakes as well.
Love your taste tester and how he says exactly what he thinks not just one word.
