- 2.5 hours before this I got a 19:30, I beat my own world record by 3 minutes this run is crazy. I beat the RLCraft speedrun world record using new strategies developed by Zylenox. This pack is made by Shivaxi, and it is regarded as one of the hardest mod packs in Minecraft, with dragons, monsters and crazy effects. One of the hardest parts about this speedrun is getting a mount to spawn, and we got it instantly, letting this become a sub 17 run. Second place is 21:30 so this is a ridiculous time.

confusion in the comments, heres some quick answers: This is the “Enderdragon%” speedrun on speedrun.com. All bosses is separate. I am also speedrunning on an older version since it is the most optimal/fastest. The towers are always in the same direction from the place I spawn when I drink a warp potion, and from spawn itself. also would like to add, if you came here expecting all bosses and were disappointed as this was only the Enderdragon, I come from speedrunning vanilla Minecraft where the Enderdragon is the main speedrun. clickbait was never the intention, but regardless I apologies if it seems that way.

Not to be a joykiller but its not that insane, in older versions the modpack used to be really easy. Just so you get an idea, the mob at 8:59 that has a purple flash around him is faaar scarier than the ender dragon on this modpack lol. The strats back then were pretty easy to pull off, cheese a battle tower, tame a flying mount and stomp the game.
The grappling use tho, thats really really good

dude. this shit was crazy. i don't know everything about rlcraft but i'd say im pretty knowledgeable, i had no idea how busted the grappling hook was.
i just started dying laughing when you got to the top of all the towers and just grappled the boss a few times and all you hear is "HHURRR" and the guy gets f*cking yeeted into the sun!

Yea cheesing battle towers requires chorus arrows now, or for early game use hoppers under the top 2 chests and take from hoppers so you don’t aggro golem

I still remember coming across my first battletower (in the original Hexxit) and immediately looking for a way to cheese the absolute hell out of it. The start of this run reminded me of that. Good stuff

Thank you! I haven't kept up with the versions/updates but I'm sure you could run 2.9.3, it would just look really different. My best guess is that 2.8.2 (the category i ran) is the most optimized for this category still

why no beds dragon?
what were the explosive arrows for? and why did you craft so many diamond arrows
explosive arrows were for the end crystals in the enderman head towers in the end. One arrow explodes 2 crystals in the head on impact. Also the diamond arrows just do more damage to the dragon and I didn't need the diamonds for anything else

The new ba bt sucks. Because tou have to do it in an order and the boss fights are repetitive and the chests dont open even after you break the spawners and kill the enemies. And the boss chest never opens and just get destroyed by the tower breaking

I don't know much about RLCraft, but I know Minecraft Speedruns are mostly luck based. Is someone able to explain what things were "lucky" in this run to make it WR?
Stronghold was close by, there were a lot of battletower spawns, and the battletowers had the necessary items, the roc (the bird thing he flies on) spawned close by, and the materials for the treats he needed to tame it. Super good runner though, this guy slaps.

biggest rng factor was getting the mount for sure. it seemed totally random and it also had to be the right biome to spawn
