Some are builders, explorers, and fighters. One might try queen bee by accident then she ends up killing everyone who isn’t in the jungle. It could really go sideways which is what I thought would happen in this video but this is also just as chaotic lol

It's wild to me that they all took the challenges as gospel. Not to mention how hilarious it is that Wild set things up specifically for Toast to kill the Wall and he made it his priority to kill Deerclops instead.
This is an excellent demonstration on the difficulties of poor communication. When nobody stops and takes a minute to just organize it's easy to accidentally end up repeating work and when goals aren't clearly commnicated with the whole team - as was intentionally done here - it's easy to lose track of where you're going and stray from the final goal! This was a ton of fun to watch though, I'd love to see more big collabs like this, it's always super interesting to see a bunch of different people working on something consecutively like this!
Hope you contribute to the fun of the project the same. The only thing more enjoyable than your tomfoolery was the most agresively british person i ve heard , but that's just unbeatable.

Amazing concept, was alot of fun watching everyone have their own plans and schemes. Loved all the tomfoolery of bonus challenges and pranks. I've seen many comments complaining about people not making progression (which is stupid as they weren't even aware they were supposed to), but I actually enjoyed those who did builds or other stupid stuff (like killing the guardian) because I loved all the reactions to them and seeing how the world evolved into utter chaos the more people contributed.
for me it was more how wishy-washy some were than actual progress being made. I wasn't too mad about people recrafting armor and stuff like that, but when there was active sabotage it really got on my nerves. Or like that one guy who spent 20 minutes trying to find the jungle temple with the clear intention of making progress, but then just said "nah" and spent the rest of the time on a banner room. What's being done isn't the problem, it's the fact it wasn't followed through. That's also why I wasn't as annoyed by the Prime segments (plenty of follow through, skill issue is skill issue so that's fine) or the dungeon guardian one.
I appreciate how the first three walked so Bench could run. Definitely reflects how Terraria feels: you either accomplish nothing or beat 5 bosses in 2 hours

the dungeon guardian is considered a "super-boss" its not a boss that is included in the game's progression but is considered a boss which you are able to come back to after beating the game usually they might show up earlier but are not intended for you to defeat it or are used as a mechanic to prevent the player from doing something a certain way at a certain time reguardless of whether you can defeat it or not. in this case the dungeon guardian makes exploring the dungeon 99.999% impossible. kudos to the Eidolon Wyrm which stops you from using the rod of discord- the super boss of calamity mod, the Warden in Minecraft which forces you to stealth ancient cities, Skyrim has very hard bosses like Karstaag and the Ebony warrior that are kind of in line with superbosses but if skyrim had a super boss it would probably be considered the dwarven centurion which is typically an enemy that shows up for the sole purpose of running away from it unless you are cracked at the game and is explicitly stated in the script that this is how the enemy is viewed, the Sea dragon leviathan semi counts but more specifically would be the massive ghost leviathans in Subnautica's dead zone meant to keep you within the games boundaries for lore purposes, you might consider 20 modes from all the FNAF games a super boss but its a bit of a stretch. Doom eternal and Cuphead are examples of boss games without any super bosses, what other super bosses can you guys think of? definition from bing AI: "In video games, a superboss is a type of optional boss that serves to test players’ mettle by being much harder than any other boss in the game. They are essentially there to provide an extra challenge that is too difficult for the main game. Superbosses are not directly connected with the main plot of the game, even if their world-ending strength rivals that of the Final Boss. They are typically found at the end of a Bonus Dungeon, Brutal Bonus Level, side quest, or Boss Rush. Defeating a superboss isn’t necessary to complete the game, and they require quite a bit of conscious effort to find1. Prizes for defeating them can range from an Infinity +1 Sword or Last Disc Magic to a simple Cosmetic Award. Superbosses are most common in role-playing games, and are sometimes rarely referred to as ‘secret’, ‘hidden’ or ‘raid’ bosses. They are the ultimate challenge to see if you have mastered every mechanic and can utilize every item efficiently to take down these nigh-unstoppable monsters."

I have 2 feuding parts of my brain right now. The goal focused one is mad at the unofficial bonus challenges that waste time, the dungeon guardian kill i can kinda excuse for being so early, and the general combination of trolling and lack of organization or general blindness on remaking the same equipment over and over again while ignoring valid options that were there. The content enjoying part of my brain on the other hand only hates the fact that the premise of the challenge defined by a goal was left hidden, and enjoyed the various trolling that came from people not expecting an overall time limit. In the end, it is an expectations vs reality issue. There was plenty of "communication" between people (signs, mostly), except where it mattered most: goal. The challenges were a great way to spice up each segment, but was often confused as "required" considering that all but 2 or so people focused on it, and most of the goals took up the entirety of their playtime to complete. If you do it again, you need to decide between putting an overall time limit or telling the players the goal. There is a case to be made that many goofed off for the express reason of letting the world last longer and get more chaotic or decorated as it went, and/or would have played differently and spent time more wisely if they knew the "win condition" of the cooperative challenge was based off a time limit instead of simply whether or not moon lord was eventually beaten after enough players.
Big agree. My expectations before watching were akin to seeing Hollow Knight pro players (like what Fireb0rn does on his channel) smurf and make do with what they're given by passing the world. Instead, it was just 1-5 pros carrying with the other "pros" making little progress or help or even back pedaling progress. I understand that there was no communication allowed and or it's for fun as there weren't any specifications for the challenge but it still was a frustrating watch given the expectations I had.
Don't know any of these people, don't know how I got here... still pretty amusing in the end, though 👌 makes me wanna try this game ...but Jesus, some of these segments are way higher quality than others; Cold Toast almost put me to sleep lol. Wexel, Bench, Cataclysmic, Megaswave pretty cool dudes seems like tho 👌
Cataclysmic was absolutely my favorite part of this whole video because of how angry they were the whole time, I loved listening to the rant that was his section lol
After the recording was made, I'd taken a look at the others videos that were avaliable and noticed some of the time wasting going on (Hense the golfing rant) Plus I had to talk fast to get it all into the short time I was allocated so it just felt right to do it fast and mildly angry since I knew I was in for a lot of work to help catch up, my whole playthrough was dedicated to making the next players time better which us why I got the armor from QS and the Megashark/Crystal bullets, So glad Megawave put all the effort to good use!
This was great! Definitely discuss logistics with everyone so you can get it edited and polished sooner. I like the idea of completing the game the fastest and getting the best build; and/or, implementing ideas from previous terraria content while also implementing the ‘pass it on’ element.
Those mini challenges really staggered the progression. At first it was the no pants which ruined the set bonus and makes fighting really annoying, and then the swap to summoner that made the others also believe they had to keep that class resulted in 10-15 minutes of video that can just be skipped because nothing happened.
I'd love to see this again at some point. The sheer amount of gremlin energy is delightful. Maybe a modded version with either more time or more people?

Funny that so many of these "professionals" do not understand to place extra accessories to the cosmetic slot next to the accessory slot so it wont take space in inventory :D

This was a ton of fun to watch though, I'd love to see more big collabs like this, it's always super interesting to see a bunch of different people working on something consecutively like this!

yeah throarbin spent like 5 min finding it and he gave up after only 20 min, if he had just searched more he could have found it. Beat golem and maybe lunatic cultist. In the beginning everybody was goofing off and i was like "Eh they just began theyll start defeating the bosses" But as they got closer to the end of the run i was getting more disappointed
The Guardian pet was ESSENTIAL to this challenge. Truly a goat move

Doom eternal and Cuphead are examples of boss games without any super bosses,
what other super bosses can you guys think of?
definition from bing AI: "In video games, a superboss is a type of optional boss that serves to test players’ mettle by being much harder than any other boss in the game.

@@raindrop_animationz2763we were already planning that. How did you know?
Cataclysmic's commentary style has really made me want to watch some of his videos honestly.
It was a pleasure to entertain 🫡
Don't know any of these people, don't know how I got here... still pretty amusing in the end, though 👌 makes me wanna try this game
...but Jesus, some of these segments are way higher quality than others; Cold Toast almost put me to sleep lol.
Wexel, Bench, Cataclysmic, Megaswave pretty cool dudes seems like tho 👌
megaswave making more progress than the previous 3-4 before him combined
Sad MrJFL wasn’t able to make it to the video, saw he had a sign set up for him. Hope he’s doing well.
Yeah, it was sad he had to back out
Cataclysmic was absolutely my favorite part of this whole video because of how angry they were the whole time, I loved listening to the rant that was his section lol
After the recording was made, I'd taken a look at the others videos that were avaliable and noticed some of the time wasting going on (Hense the golfing rant)
Plus I had to talk fast to get it all into the short time I was allocated so it just felt right to do it fast and mildly angry since I knew I was in for a lot of work to help catch up, my whole playthrough was dedicated to making the next players time better which us why I got the armor from QS and the Megashark/Crystal bullets, So glad Megawave put all the effort to good use!
@@CataclysmicArmageddon He wasn't insulting you it sounded like he enjoyed your playing!
@personperson9380 hmm? I wasn't insulted at all, Is that how that reply sounded?
Wasn't ment to be at all
The biggest saboteur of this challenge was Bench. Dude just throws challenge signs up and everyone thinks they are real lol
"No Communication" proceeds to communicate and waste 4 hours on golf
Ngl, making your thumbnail extra saturated is genius. My monke brain immediately went "ooo nice colors" and clicked 😂
I kind of wish we got to see everyone cursing at each other in a voice call after the challenge was over but great video anyway
seeing a "Pro player" put an accesory into their full inventory and then trash a herb... kinda just hurt me
who needs herbs when you have accessories you can sell for MONEY
my hoarding tendencies mean i stuff extra accessories into my other two loadouts when i'm short on space and i just explode when i see people dicking around with five dirt and vines sitting in their bag for hours on end
@@Throarbin I use vanity accessory slots or the other loadouts for vanity, accessory, and armor storage when I do long dives. Gel goes into the ammo slots as well. Usually helps buffer a good 8 slots per run without having to trash anything
Honestly, having all these different creators film and edit their own portions of the video, is incredible. Makes it very interesting. Not only is it great story telling, also a good bit of advertising for them xD
Funny that so many of these "professionals" do not understand to place extra accessories to the cosmetic slot next to the accessory slot so it wont take space in inventory :D
Normie Player: "Hey [Streamer], you can put extra accessories in vanity to swap."
Patchnote Andy: "They removed that feature."
Terraria Historian: "Ackshually they added it back because it was controversial."
Overwhelmed Streamer: Stop telling me I can use vanity slots because chat said it doesn't work anymore!
theyre streamers, idk why he added professional
@@lightninghuffThat actually explains why they'd miss it, thanks
Love that like 7 people just screwed around and megaswave casually came in and made up all of the progress that they couldn't 😂
You're a real one for actually telling us that you couldn't do it. Anyone else would have just kept grinding at it and pretended like they won
