Things that you do not need for sub 7: - a sub 1:10 enter - a housing bastion - a sub 3 bastion leave - a sub 3:30 fort - an ssv or warped fort - perfect or near perfect rates - leaving on 5 rods - a stronghold blind - a zero cycle or instaperch sub 7 is inevitable sub 6 is very possible
@@ermtosis with an even more lucky seed, better rod drops (in this run the first 3 blazes didn't drop at all) more risktaking (zero cycle etc) it's probably possible. And the only reason I think so is because when the first sub 10 happened we all thought sub 9 would never be broken and yet here we are

This run might be just about perfect. So much knowledge displayed. I can't even wrap my head around some of these concepts, from locating the buried treasure, to the portal placement, to locating the stronghold and teleporting inside it. Amazing run for sure!
It's a random seed, they are using a mod to locate specific blocks that are in the player's sight of view (the small green diagram in the bottom right of the screen is used to do so). It allows to very quickly locate specific structures
@@caboose512justinf.9 He does something called mapless buried treasure. He uses the f3 screens piechart to locate any nearby chests in the chunks in his vision. By locating the specific chunk the treasure is in you can dig down on the chunk coordinates (9, 9) to find it.

maybe if the pearl to the fortress landed on top (or even if that glitch of the player getting inside the wall would've happened, as if it was climbable by blocks he could easily save some time there, although 3-4 seconds at max) and also if he had a fire charge on his hotbar while making the second portal maybe it would've been a sub 7, but who am I to say?
Not a speedrun to be sniffed at. Nice seed! But me, being me, kept seeing improvements that could be made. God bridging could have been done. In-precise mouse motion. Fumbling with the crafting GUI. Meanwhile, I can't even play the game because 3 different skeletons are constantly shooting at me while I get murked from behind as I try to block a hoard of arrows only to fall through snow into a massive cave and lose everything I spent 2 hours attaining.

speedrunning takes an immense amount of dedication, time, skill, and perseverance. runs like these, whether accepted or rejected, mean a TON symbolically, as some sort of comfort that the time spent wasn't wasted or that the perfect run wasn't meant to be. this new run is insane, and even though the mods wont accept it, I think I can safely say for the community that this is the new world record. don't let the rejection depress you, you deserve the title.

Sub-6 is possible with faster piglin trades, perfect blaze rng and an immediate dragon perch I think. Current runs already have ridiculous rng so this might only be a theoretical limit.

As someone not in the know-how, I genuinely wasn’t 100% sure if this was seeded until the nether fortress from the sheer skill and execution. That was truly incredible.

None of it was nuts on its own but also absolutely nothing was bad. Name any event or any split, it was on the high end of average at worst.

And still there are a few optimizations left. Plus a bit more luck with the ender dragon and this can easily go 10-15 seconds faster.

speedrunning takes an immense amount of dedication, time, skill, and perseverance. runs like these, whether accepted or rejected, mean a TON symbolically, as some sort of comfort that the time spent wasn't wasted or that the perfect run wasn't meant to be.
this new run is insane, and even though the mods wont accept it, I think I can safely say for the community that this is the new world record. don't let the rejection depress you, you deserve the title.

Sub-6 is possible with faster piglin trades, perfect blaze rng and an immediate dragon perch I think. Current runs already have ridiculous rng so this might only be a theoretical limit.

Thats how insane this is. The fact that its possible to beat this game in 7 minutes is wild, and you didn't even get the greatest luck either which is equally wild.
