By far one of the best reviews on this bike that I have watched. You capture all of the strengths of the bike in an honest and descriptive manner and don't spend to much time on the power and straight line speed (after all that is a given) which people like to cite as it's only strength, this is so wrong but you mix the power of this this bike with the true range of positives that the Z1 4 has which make it excellent at everything. I can honestly say that I agree with everything you say. So those people that are determined to pigeonhole this bike into a straight line drag bike you should listen to this man, everything he says is true, I suggest that if you haven't test ridden one you do so and then I challenge you to pigeonhole the bike, you won't. The ZZR14 is a fantastic bike and puts to rest all of the criticisms normally associated with the hyper bike class once and for all.

I own this beast and still i watch this video frequently! I think this is the perfect depiction of this bike's abilities. Such exceptional brilliance this bike has that apart from Supersport levels of razor sharp handling and Adv levels of rough road abilities, this bike is right there at the top on most of the parameters of motorcycling! I agree with every word said in the review and I am just madly in love with this beast. 😍

I have just bought a ZX14R. Can someone please advise me about what tires to put on this motorcycle? Should I go with sport touring tires (for example Pirelli Angel GT) or should I go for a super sports tire (Avon 3D ultra sport or Bridgestone S21). Thanks in advance for the comments.

I watched this lovely review many times in 2014 and went in for the bike in Dec 2014. Sagar! You are the only reviewer who rode/tested the 14R like it should be ridden. The 14R, 10R and Daytona 675R reviews by PD are gems.

finally the best video about the ZX 14...is how I want to see this motorcycle on motion , love to see the bike on the road, there's thousands of videos about the ZX 14 but all of them are the same, different bikes, different riders but at the end...SAME VIDEO...riders are filming the road, cars, lights on red, people, ...but we want to see the bike on motion.... thanks...the best video, very nice bike love to see it on motion , low motion .... every thing is perfect on your video...

SanAndreas091 well... she has a much smoother throttle than a 1000 and the lower height center can be ideal if you can fully flat foot the zx14, so yeah i see what you did there. but one flick of a second lose your focus while you try to see how her high rpms behave and oh boy you gonna become a blood paint on a wall

ReapZ Askme How about the 95 octane petrol availability?? will the regular petrol do any damage to the engine.
By my location gasoline is easy to find at, Regular: 87 Octane, Plus: 89, Premium: 93. I always fill 93, never had a problem. I think there is a warning label on the ZX14 gas tank to never fill with below 89 Octane.

I added a HM quickshifter, a steering damper , Hummingbird Digital Speedo, Power commander and Yoshi pipes fully specced and better than other bike in the market.

maddest thing about this bike is, that if you keep the revs down and cruise on highway under 160kmh, you can easily achieve 4,5-5 l/100 km.. that's pure madness for this kind of monster..
Having owned Hayabusa and ZX14R. I can say that the ZX14R is much better bike. It's smooth as silk and the power is just incredible. The best part is you don't feel it's weight at all unlike Hayabusa which feels top heavy. I absolutely love this bike.

yeah 95 degree engine is insanely good. I had the 2013 hayabusa limited edition and although I loved the bike for it's speed, smooth stable ride and pure torque across the powerband(can you hear me saying "great engine?" in spite of all "haters" the heat out the right side of engine would cook your leg on a hard long ride. great about the busa was the air pocket maintained by the fairings which would enable riding in a rainstorm and yet remaining perfectly dry If you maintain highway speed great review video thanks.

A perfect all round bike. The ergonomics make her power very easy to handle and you could ride her all day every day.
She never gets uncomfortable hot with her large displacement unlike your high stressed 1000ccs
That try to match the performance of the big Z , but take her to the drags and every standard 1000cc bike will be nothing but lights in your mirror even with s1000rrs with high tec launch control.
My second ever drag run on my zx14r was 10..18secs and I have been just riding for over a year
I've never driven a motorcycle before. This looks like a great starter bike.
It nice to know that this is the most comfortable sportbike.

Powerful straight line acceleration and comfort, but the bike is heavy for city riding and twistes ! I chose the 2016 Kawasaki Z1000 over this because it is lighter, smaller and more nimble, power is very saficiate ! I had a 2013 Suzuki Hyabusa that I did track days with and touring, but it didn't give me the best of both worlds, so now I have a 2017 Kawasaki ZX10R for track and a 2016 Kawasaki Z1000 for street !

Hello...I've never written to one of these video's before, but yours was so good and I'm thinking of purchasing one of these, that I need to find some accurate answers.
From what I understand, all the 2014 and 2015 ZX14R have a speed limiter in the computer, so the bike only goes 186 mph. Someone said if you reprogramed the computer, you could go around 202 mph., but your bike "not sure what year it is" goes 265 mph!!!! How did you get it to go that fast???

This was one of the reviews that helped me to decide to buy my ZX-14R 18-months ago... This is an amazing motorcycle, and the review was 100% accurate. I've started motovlogging with mine, and I'm using a GoPro Fusion and a Hero 6 Black.
Hands down maybe the best 14-R review I've seen........those power wheelies though! craziest bike.......amazing review.....you guys made my Day. Just one thing though.......I've heard that 95 octane fuel isn't available easily......so what about normal fuel? any cons? (live in bangalore btw)..............
chandan kumar He said earlier to not go below 89 octane. They said a sticker by the gas cap says that, too.
Speckled Perch sticker says 95 octane.....and that's pretty rare, so had to ask........anyway, thanks for the reply! 👍👍👍👍👍

I could not finance a 2012 zx14 so I got a still new 2011 zx14 with 2 miles on the clock. Same green so people think it's a 12. I don't lie if they ask and I explain the difference. Most people who ride smaller bikes don't ask to ride. I'm 360lbs. so it's just right for me. I've been 160mph, 15mph over my record I set on a 1990 Hurricane 1000. I love my zx14. It will catch up with weaker bikes with my large ass on it's back so fast, it look like they slammed on brakes. I still want to try a Busa just to see the difference.

I have a 2013 and absolutely love it. I wanted power that i wouldn't get used to in a year or two, and more comfort than my previous gixxer 750, all while still being a sporty great looking bike. Mission accomplished. Still putting Apex bars on for more comfort though. I like to do longer rides that last all day sometimes. Dropping the bazooka exhaust for lighter better looking n sounding aftermarket ones.

So this zedX 1400R is the fastest production motorcycle on the planet! That's incredible, so it must be pulling 6-G's or more as it accelerates up to top speed.

This is a very good review - and yes everything he says about the -14 is true... Mine has dual Boz Brothers Exhausts - I admit to starting it up just to listen to it scream - the closest thing to an F1 race car I have ever heard on any bike.
