Goldeneye is the “most replayed”. For good reason. It’s definitely the best redefinition of the gunbarrel sequence. And Brosnan’s Bond is the smoothest, most direct of them all.
For me, my favorite gunbarrels are the ones where it seems situational, as if someone is trying to kill Bond, he's pretending not to know and he fires first. I know that all of them are SUPPOSED to be like that, but some of them don't seem to have that sense of "I have to hit him first". Moore's later gunbarrels are a bit too slow in that sense while his early ones don't reflect Bond being a markmans with him holding his arm, some of Craig's are kinda unsubtle, especially the one where YOU SEE THE GUN, Connery's, the ones starting with Thunderball, are kinda shakey, like he's nervous. For me, Dr. No to Goldfinger, Lazenby's, Dalton's, and Bronson's, all capture the "I know he's aiming at me, lemme catch him off guard." All except Die Another Day, the bullet going through the barrel is just cheesy.
Between Golden Gun and Goldeneye, the gunbarrels had the issue of the blood starting just as the shot is heard, without a detectable delay. It's quite unfortunate, only a few older relatively less polished gunbarrels had the same issue (Dr. No and OHMSS).
To be honest, Casino Royale had the best gunbarrel due to You Know My Name immediately playing after My dad is a fan of Craig's Bond, up until No Time To Die, where he shed tears seeing Bond go out in a blaze of glory See you at the next mission, Mr. Bond
Did any of you notice that on ‘You Only Live Twice’ the musical key was in F minor (a 1/2 step up) vs. the normal key of E minor? I believe the playback speed is correct. I still like the early ones the best.
In terms of soundtracks for the gunbarrel, I'd say the best were Live and Let Die, For Your Eyes Only, Licence to Kill, GoldenEye and The World Is Not Enough
Criag could never get it quite right, could he? CR doesn't really count. QOS - why does he continue walking after he shoots? Skyfall - walking waaaaaaaaaaaay too slow. SPECTRE could have been so awesome (what a perfect swing and stance) but he is carrying his gun nonchalantly in full view the whole time. NTD is maybe the only one where he nails it but people whine there is no blood 😅
Fact: Dalton and Brosnan starred in Edgar Wright films: Dalton starred in the movie "Hot Fuzz" (2007) and Brosnan starred in the movie "The World's End" (2013)
Lazenby’s is really nice and has some great symbolism (what with Bond getting down on one knee, hinting at his marriage proposal to Tracy) but it also has errors, the main one being the Lazenby moonwalk, and also the music and gunbarrel do not time up with each other the way they normally would which is very weird.
_Dr No, From Russia With Love_ and _Goldfinger_ showed stuntman Bob Simmons in the gunbarrel sequence as Bond. From _Thunderball_ onwards in the remaining official Sean Connery-starring Bond films it was genuinely Sean in the gunbarrel footage (they had to reshoot gunbarrel footage anyway due to _Thunderball_ using a different aspect ratio to the previous three films).

Brosnan has the best walk and turn/shooting posture. He looks like a genuine gunman who is a professional.
Definitely seems the most natural out of them all
Yessir! Best Overall, though slight edge to FYEO on music.
@@brianrodriguez8282hard agree. Thats the best gunbarrel music in my opinion
FYEO, you extended the shot out until we saw Tracy's tombstone. Much respect.
Yet every movie, 007 has a new lady to Bang.
She was the only one who he would have left MI6 for@@privateerbouncher9622
5:17 - "For your Eyes Only" is the best one, the music is so cool and smooth
Agreed
Goldeneye is the “most replayed”.
For good reason. It’s definitely the best redefinition of the gunbarrel sequence. And Brosnan’s Bond is the smoothest, most direct of them all.
The Brosnan films introduced the reflections in the gunbarrel, Die Another Day rendered in the bullet, and Casino Royale had a complete departure.
The only time the Camera man does not survive
REC 1-2, Blair Witch, VHS, Kane and Lynch 2 (it's a game but the camera does feel like a crappy video camera) : are we all a joke to you ?
I can't imagine how many cameramen must have died since 1962... It's a risky job for sure...
Just wierd how his blood then gets inside the cameralens.

5:20 Trivia: For Your Eyes Only was produced by famed producer Bruce Dickinson
Live And Let Die's gunbarrel music didn't need to go that hard.
This account is so good. Hope you blow up with NTTD!
To be honest, Casino Royale had the best gunbarrel due to You Know My Name immediately playing after
My dad is a fan of Craig's Bond, up until No Time To Die, where he shed tears seeing Bond go out in a blaze of glory
See you at the next mission, Mr. Bond
I like the way Quantum of Solace to Spectre was smoothly put together, good stuff dude
0:10 I find this cute, for some reason.
I just watched DR.NO for the first me first bond film I can't wait to see the others
Hey me from another universe!?
Lazenbys gunbarrel looks so cool
Did any of you notice that on ‘You Only Live Twice’ the musical key was in F minor (a 1/2 step up) vs. the normal key of E minor? I believe the playback speed is correct. I still like the early ones the best.
thx so much, now I hear it as well!
In terms of soundtracks for the gunbarrel, I'd say the best were Live and Let Die, For Your Eyes Only, Licence to Kill, GoldenEye and The World Is Not Enough
10:30 that transition tho 😮
1:23 so im the ONLY person who likes thunderball?.
1:48 hey its my favourite bond film
2:45 my favourite gunbarrel in general
I’m impressed. :-)
For Your Eyes Only is the best but Goldeneye is a close second in my opinion as it has the best sound effect for the gun shot.
i used to listen to these on my old flipphone lol, was before quantom of solace.

Ha ha agreed! The turn and shoot is an art form.
Does the PPK really have less recoil than an air soft?
goldeneyes beat and music is so fire
Fact: Dalton and Brosnan starred in Edgar Wright films: Dalton starred in the movie "Hot Fuzz" (2007) and Brosnan starred in the movie "The World's End" (2013)
Never realised how stiff and telegraphed daniel craig’s draw and fire is compared to Pierce Brosnan’s til now
Diamonds Are Forever is the best Bond Movies Ever
Lazenby’s makes it seem like he’s being followed by a vehicle of some sort
Timothy Dalton and Roger Moore the best Bond
The only bad era Daniel Craig
Casino Royale 2006 is the best Bond movie
@@aidanlastname0187 The Craig era's are too American with too much explosions.
Please top best bond pre title
1. For Your Eyes Only
2. Die Another Day
3. GoldenEye
4. Tomorrow Never Dies
5. Quantim of Solace
Brosnan has the best walk and fastest point and shoot. He just acts so natural. Honestly it sucks to say but Conory is the worst...
The Sean Connery ones are a bit lame. My favourite is George Lazenby - much cooler and the best in my opinion.
If I recall correctly, Connery's only was Diamonds Are Forever. The others of Connery is a stuntman.
_Dr No, From Russia With Love_ and _Goldfinger_ showed stuntman Bob Simmons in the gunbarrel sequence as Bond. Yeah... Lazenby was always my favorite one too...The way he kneels down to shoot is so badass...

Why does everyone miss Never Say Never
Never Say Never is not an official Bond movie, it’s annoying it’s featured at all on this channel honestly.
It’s not official to the Eon films. It also doesn’t have a gun barrel sequence
@@aidanlastname0187exactly
Guess the audience would be quite surprised if it was Bond who was shot instead ...
Nope he got bombed instead.
This is me when i see furries but great video man love bond
my guy is 10 years old lmao. cheesy hate
Ye I know I’m sorry I’ve gotten older now and I may still hate furries I try and leave them to their lives now :)
