@@hendrianfajar I can answer that, royal bow is better than sergi. Seregios does deal more damage physically, but over time Royal is better due to have 3 levels of charge while sergios only having 2, but the biggest advantage is the coating options and gem slots, in Rise/Sunbreak there aren't really many useful lv1 Decor, so having the option for a level 2 slot on the royal bow does broaden your options for better skills than having 2 level 1 slots.
@@gabmanman firstly, thankyou for your kind response. im still quite new on bow game with just around 500 usage. i don't get it on the Charge level thingy, i thought that less charge stage with more lvl is good? example seregios with Bow Charge plus decos could hit Rapid lv5 with 1 or 2 charge stage / dash while aiming. while with royal bow i need 3 level of charge stage for rapid 5? or does the arrow dmg goes up based on the charge level rather than Shot type (rapid 5) ? i hope what im trying to say is not confusing. seregios bow has 2x lvl 1 slot. i put 2 quick reload 1 there. also is stamina surge that important? i found we could still able to do 3x aerial shot without any stam. and my build hit around 226 per arrow on training dummy head, and for around 2500 on aerial shot at training dummy head. is that number still low? im still experimenting on bow, so let me know if i did something wrong.
@@hendrianfajar So basically a bow u can charge a shot, the higher the level charge level the higher the damage, and sometimes the type of shot would be different, like lv1 Pierce, Lv2 Spread, Lv3 Pierce. But since I believe MHW now we mechanics for bow changed a bit and every shot you make with the bow will increase the charge level. Basically the more Charge Levels the bow has the better.

can you list like mandatory skills or “should prioritize” skills first when making these kinda videos? It helps someone who’s not familiar with the weapon to try and make build around that with what they have in wiki builder.
Well I can help with that. The starter pack is always Wex 3 Crit Boost 3, Ammo type up 3, elem +3-5 (depends on the amount of elem of the bow), and reaching at least 70% affinity. Non dereliction builds use Crit Eye 7. Dereliction builds can use Palico + Coalessence to reach 90-100%, and lastly stam surge 2, Constitution 3. (You eat Fighter dango for extra 2 points) Those you prioritize, after those yo see if you can fit Att boost 4. Then whatever you want.
- Wex - Shot type dmg bonus skills (like spread for example) - Mighty bow plus - Stamina surge 3 - Constitution 2+ - Reload 2 Anything else is extra. but those are the core for every build. Every bow build will have those usually.
Just thought I'd let you know that you're using Rapid Fire Up, instead of Normal/Rapid Up in your RAW rapid bow set. I've always wondered if that's just some sort of translation blunder, or why Capcom decided to name it Rapid in the first place.
Yeah came here to say this, that skill is doing nothing for bow. If it's just gemmed in then its an easy fix, but if youre relying on armor for it...rip
I already saw people comment on the faulty use of rapid up, but also note that this build messes up the dango choices he doesn't eat for Marksman which is a lot of damage left on the table which in turn would means you need to adjust your constitution as that's what he eats for
I mean you can put markmen as the 2nd dango, or the 3rd. it's not that big a deal. I'm choosing the survival route for average player sake, hence the first 3 minutes talking about being one shot.
Daimyo bow is the best spread bow with the + close range coatings. Shagaru helm, gore waist, final boss chest arms and greaves is the best set for dps and just slot it stamina skills and charm.
@@arstriker911 who cares with element anyway since you are using it mainly for raw. The element is just a bonus.Daimyo is better spread than chameleon because of slots and the + close range coating. You can add the water element as a bonus damage and the 30 raw difference is no longer an advantage.

Hey so I kind of struggle to understand the whole decoration part for the rapid bow build . Does a screenshot or smth like that exist where we can see each part with the decoration you have on it?
Where is Bladescalehone? (or howeever is called the Steve skill) Gives a boost on close range coatings when you dodge an attack (combos with bolt dodge) It's mandatory in meta bow builds (specially spread builds)
I would say its mostly "mandatory" against anomaly's. most other monsters I feel you can easily get by with just power coatings and kill them before you run out. and in multiplayer its harder to have it up, especially at just 1 point, which would already lose you hellmail or bloodlust going by the budget spread build. I used it in my gaismagorm pierce build video tho.
Not having charge lv 4 makes it lose quite a bit of damage even if it has rapid lv 5. I recommend the ore 2 tree bow (harbringer's battlebow) if you don't want to worry about slotting the mighty bow jewel.
God, I wish I could use bow in sunbreak. Mained it in world, but I just can't seem to reliably land shots while dodging around in sunbreak. Kinda pushed me into lbg for my off weapon though.

Capcom's 70% is really 10% not worth the hassle of swapping a build depending on rng, and no one is throwing up just to do a run where you would have to throw up multiple times just to get a food proc. When they fix the shit food system, perhaps maybe then. Or I guess I could just use a mod for 100% food, but that's just lame imo. Try to keep mods strictly to visual.
Bow is in a wierd place where the Damage is 80% raw anyway on pure element builds. So they are better as raw builds with the element as an added bonus. So you can replace any bow in this video with 'Strax, Gaisma or your favorite looking high raw with some element bow. Rip element bow.
Your nornal/rapid bow build is wrong. You're using tbe wrong skill. You have Rapid Fire Up which does nothing for bows.... You need the normal /rapid up skill...
I like to live, hence explaining the oneshot stuff. I'm trying to secretly instill survivalbility so people cart less in multiplayer but yes, for dmg, marksmen is best as the 2nd slot, or 3rd food skill. tbh I forgot all about marksmen in sunbreak...
Dango Figher is not 100% proc chance first thing out of your mouth was giga troll. Sure you CAN run CON 2 IF you hit your Dango Fighter 4. If you don't hit it then what? You solely relying on Dash Juice and just fuckin yolo with a super uncomfy fight?
so you kinda are wasting a lot of Skill potentials, specially with Rapid Fire up, thats a Lightbow gun only skill, I think you were trying to use Normal/Rapid Up, which increases the damage of Normal Ammo and Rapid Arrow. Reload Speed is kinda useless for bow, since the speed for changing and equipping coats isn't that slow for you to need Reload Speed.
Quickload 2 is one of the best comfort skills you can have on bow, it literally removes the coat animation. If you like bow and havent tried it yet, please, take a bow with a lot of different coatings and do a normal hunt making sure to use all of them. Then slot in quickload 2 and do the hunt again. You will really feel the difference when you can go from power shot to close range to para to sleep without ever stopping your dash dance, trust me, give it a shot
@@SpiritLegion Oh no I'm well aware that reload speed automatically sets the coating as you rotate them, but I personally prefer going through higher dps skills, since my prefer bow is the Abyssal Void. And only uses 2 coatings.

For Rapid shot I use Harp having a free lvl 3 or 4 slot is great I can get evade extender 2

steadiness only affects bowgun deviation, doesnt apply for bows IIRC
