I really liked AngBata’s video on it. I really appreciate that you can lose def and useless skills and gain some of those points back so that you can get the really good skills on rarity 10 stuff
Rn I run Kaiser helm, barioth gauntlets and chest, rathalos waist, and ingot greaves. With augments included, I got atk7 crit7 wex3, crit boost 3, max might 3, defense 7, quick sheath 3, and divine blessing. Hard to tell if that's good tho.
@@bobthebuilder5159 little over kill on crit. no element? maybe the raw sword? I feel generally wirebug is necessary for LS, especially element to spam sakura more. from my findings defense hardly matters, i would chose defiance so occasional roars or wind don't mess up your sheath.

absolutely love how absurdly long our pages of skills get now, great sets! i tend to run tigrex LS kaiser crown kaiser mail golden lunebraces narga coil storge greaves (arc for males) its less dps somewhat but its very comfy and allows me to run def boost 7 and divine blessing 3 while still dishing out a ton of dps, big difference is i dont get attack boost but i managed to get bubbly dance augments and resuscitate 3 alongside coalescence jewel slot with bloodlust, very fun imo.
ik its insane, I had to shrink my border line overlay thing to be able to fit in most of the skills xD divine blessing is always great, definitely a nice skill to aug in, especially with hellmail on.
Amazing video! The way you showed all the build info on one screen with the info graphics was probably the best presentation I've seen on YT. Also these builds are solid AF. I'm really glad the Goldian LS is back and better than ever. It's a beautiful weapon and was the first LS I ever crafted and used in Iceborne. Thanka for all the work you put into this, it doesn't go unnoticed
If everything was equally viable and available then I would completely agree with you. But as someone that only has the switch version and no access to them to begin with, then I can say the same thing. ... But that's only because I can't. Not because I wouldn't. I hate bad rng when they know I want decent sets. I don't even want meta, just fun sets.
I have a 3 CE 4-0-0 charm, so I'll probably be using Flicker for awhile since I can offset the affinity pretty well. I'm still amazed Flicker has been usurped.
Just made myself a status build using foray, status trigger and adrenaline rush and honestly I'm not sure what to think about it. I think its a shame that you literally have to dodge and stuff like hammers keeping sway silk bind or SnS's backhop doesn't proc the skills it really throws me off the fight sometimes
it does take time to get used to. we're so conditioned for counters and silkbhinds that normal dodging becomes a distance nature to want to master haha i've seen sleep sword be pretty crazy, since sleep always forces monsters to roar on wake up meaning easy dodge to proc trigger. kinda trash in multi tho unless you got a good communicated team for wake ups

I wonder if using the "God Raw" build makes you lose a lot of damage or not compared to all the budget elemental builds you presented? I like having a build I can pretty much use in every situation, so that's why I tend to gravitate more towards raw builds than elemental builds, if the raw damage is not slacking too much behind the elemental one. I tend to play a mixed style of LS, using the Special Sheathe/Helmbreaker as my primary scroll, and Sacred Sheathe/Sakura Slash as my "knockdown scroll" for big damage and getting back to yellow level really quickly. So does that mean I should go for the elemental builds, or is the raw build not that behind in terms of damage?
Here's the thing about the Raw build, and most "meta' builds running Mail of Hellfire. You don't want to scroll swap. You want to stay in red, or blue, depending on if you want the +atk or +ele. Both are perfectly viable and put out a ton of damage as long as you're playing well, so it's really just preference. I'd say go for Ele after you have a Raw build set up, if only because grinding out a bunch of Ele weapons will take much longer than a universal Raw build. You sound like a raw player if you want a build that can "do it all", if you're making Ele builds then you're pretty much dedicating an entire page to several builds to get the most out of them.

I've used raw all up until this update and I got sub 3-5-7-8's with chat all the time. solo, you might not see too much a difference if using sac style, but mixed likely will favor ele. all the speedrunners use iai style and its all element. I say instead of element, choose based off monsters you fight. like a dragon and ice and thunder sword would be the main ones i'd bother using since majority of the monsters I fight are weak to those elements. or maybe zinogres pp management is annoying so i use gold rath or flicker for thunder matchups to avoid that. something along those lines

I thought Element Exploit only works on monster parts that are at 25% weakness or above, not 20%, which is significantly more restrictive. Is that info outdated? Anyhow, thanks for the video!
man this game got out of control for build variety. thats a fucking masssive list of skills you got there. i just wanted to see some good swords, building is half the fun in this game but this is gonna make my brain twitch.
Not much room to improve you say. are you not running like 125% crit why do we need that much crit? I tried this out with 3 hand craft jewels got 36 hits to 40 hits in purple with out one tenderizer and one mighty Jewel (maximum might), the mighty jewel was an accident i didn't mean to take that off. Its like 75% crit with it on that's with out rousing roar. Def sucks for those laggy lobbies. I dont really understand the wire bug ether wire bug 1 is good enough maybe a little less dps per second not that big of a loss its 6 seconds unless I'm misinformed. You could possibly run a def++ jewel for those rough moments instead of evade extender and just get the two with qurio crafting or +2 jewel you can replace a crit boost jewel for evade jewels because it might be easier to get on the armor pieces or tenderizer jewels. Idk man it crit like crazy with out one tenderizer jewel and purple hits harder than white. So basically its all the same but 3 handcraft and one less tenderizer i didn't see it not crit one time in the training that's as far as I've tested. im sure it might crit less than the original build but it was good enough if u want purple on the blade. u need 3 handcraft plus sharpness boost and att boost 5 less attack on the blade. I know that purple cuts more than white i just cant go with it out. Should be 30% crit from draw 30% crit from maximum might 10% crit from the blade and that's 70% then 30% crit with tenderizer which is 100% altogether though but not as consistent perhaps. And yeah agitator with 5% crit. I dont get how your build with 20% extra is the strongest build i dont get why we need 3 weakness exploits? So perhaps for up time, and again i didn't have all crit boosts on my first test still didn't see not one crit. I dont have the full att boost yet so i haven't been able to see if the damage is better or not . Am i missing something or does the might jewel not stack with the crit draw buff i didn't see it ever hit 100% with rousing roar as a side test, that would make sense for the maximum might 3. You can still get 100% with the cat though if u want to run more def that is for i can counter offline just fine but not as well with lagg, otherwise u could still get 3 handcraft on the original build with armor or jewels and have the 3 tenderizers.
Wouldn't Lucent Narga be better than Desperate Roar+ when using Grinder (S) since it has slots to get more additional skills and has poison? The build I'm using on the Switch has basically everything except for one level Resentment (cause it has Dereliction) one level of Speed Sharpening and one level of Evade Extender
depends on charm, augments, and rousing cat or not. while it does have slots, you also have to waste anomaly upgrade to get rampage deco 2. so trigrex can get 5% affinity and 5 more attack for 355 vs 330 raw. but poison is a small factor and as said slots, so low budget build will likely favor narga, but max possible will likely favor tigrex.
Desperate Roar+ has 360 raw with atk boost lvl 2 augment, it has the highest raw which in turn gives it the most benefit from atk boost 7 and grinder(S). Also lucent narga LS doesn't have a 2 slot rampage deco so it needs the slot upgrade augment otherwise it loses out on anti-species deco which is another 5% bonus to raw.
depends on the build. for builds that have a listed sheath deco at lv2 as one of the requirements, you don't need to change anything, you just save that slot for another lv2, either extender or maybe more atk/crit.
yes, but not as a core skill I would say. for augments its a nice bonus as you do poison very fast with it, and blights are common for rides, but it is only 10 atk and 10% affinity for lv2. for max pc version you can fit it in but I preferred master touch for comfy.
I got a big wall of text comment some time ago potentially saying it was possible, but tldr and can't find it i'd just use a 4 slot with a decent skill, or 3-2-1 slot with lv1s and get required skills as augments. like getting 2 quicksheath or 3 can make every build in the video, with a plain 2-2 slot.
then you gain Evade extender as said. lv2 will let you position for sac faster, or even dodge better if you're on low life and can't risk the hyper armor. alternatively, more dmg I guess, or sharpness management like pp/masters touch/razor
really? i thought you needed coins to forge it, or maybe its the male version of channeler? I didn't have it and done all side quest so assumed it was arena, but set builder does name male armor not female so that might be the mix up
I'm using a simple comfy build with the commander? LS the one you get from a follower quest good purple noice damage at 330 10 crit With the usual QS3 attack 7 crit and wax 3 with master 3 defense 5 (might change that)
sorry I meant critical element, I got them mixed up. crit ele you can get on augs, not exploit. so ignore the ice augs text, it already had crit ele lv3.
I know you think you're making a good point, but that's a dumb take. That's like saying people who microwave their food can't ever criticize the food they order at restaurants. Of course they have a right to complain, everyone does, its their OPINION. Just because they decided to take the problem into their own hands and save time while you stubbornly throw yourself at the wall doesn't make you any better or worse than them, bud. But the fact you'll attack them over it, demonize them and kick up a tantrum certainly lowers you beneath them on a different level. The irony is that those who modded/editted their charms and augments did so *because* they understand how awful the current endgame systems can be. They certainly didn't do it because it was *good*. Just say what you mean: You're upset and angry at the people who editted their save. It's not about their opinions on the system. You're just mad they cut the awful, monumentous grind you decided to play through.
I do agree to some extent. But depending on the monsters gold n sliver LS is good . Lucent LS is soso. But does make up with deco slot. Now i perfer Astalo LS is honestly better then zingore. Only difference is derco slot. Now my opinion tigrax tho is still overall better. Raw is raw. Now with equipment. I have about 5set. And yes I don't used mods to cheat the game. I could but honestly I refused to be a scumbag... still not bad tho...
Because it's not actually cheating when it's possible just unlikely you can take 1k hours to get the rolls if you really want to or get lucky or just mid them in and save your own sanity
I mean its not exactly cheating its just to reduce the amount of time to show what a potential god rolled build is this significantly reduces the grind and allows the speedrunners and build creators create and showcase build or for speedrunners put out runs none of these charms are unobtainable its just the fact that the chances of getting the perfect rolled charms with the exact skills you want and the exact slots you want is extremely low

ikr. especially with augs. 9 element added is like 10-25% more element for some swords, meanwhile 10 raw is a 3% increase for 320 raw wpns

For the meta raw.... i'm missing a 2-slot for the 7th atk (11 lv 2slots and 12 decos for lv 2).... igot a 2qs 2-2 slot
it shows its possible from set searcher. are you using draw lv4? or using the right armor pieces? you could try barioth chest and see if it fits now

But the fact you'll attack them over it, demonize them and kick up a tantrum certainly lowers you beneath them on a different level. The irony is that those who modded/editted their charms and augments did so *because* they understand how awful the current endgame systems can be. They certainly didn't do it because it was *good*. Just say what you mean: You're upset and angry at the people who editted their save. It's not about their opinions on the system. You're just mad they cut the awful, monumentous grind you decided to play through.

I do agree to some extent. But depending on the monsters gold n sliver LS is good . Lucent LS is soso. But does make up with deco slot. Now i perfer Astalo LS is honestly better then zingore. Only difference is derco slot. Now my opinion tigrax tho is still overall better. Raw is raw. Now with equipment. I have about 5set. And yes I don't used mods to cheat the game. I could but honestly I refused to be a scumbag... still not bad tho...

we just cheated the rng but by the game sanity check its legal
Because it's not actually cheating when it's possible just unlikely you can take 1k hours to get the rolls if you really want to or get lucky or just mid them in and save your own sanity
I mean its not exactly cheating its just to reduce the amount of time to show what a potential god rolled build is this significantly reduces the grind and allows the speedrunners and build creators create and showcase build or for speedrunners put out runs none of these charms are unobtainable its just the fact that the chances of getting the perfect rolled charms with the exact skills you want and the exact slots you want is extremely low
