HOW TO PRICE A WINDOW CLEANING JOB

  • This customer was out of state and didn't have a tool for the window covers so in this situation we would have to charge more. Normally its best to have the customer raise the window cover before cleaning. Everyone might price window cleaning jobs differently. This is how we do it. We have tried several ways to price and this seems to be the most fair and overall an easier way of pricing. We charge $15 per window including inside, outside, tracks, and screens cleaned. If there is extra work we charge $100 hr. I hope this helps all the new window cleaners out there. I sure wish I had this knowledge 3 years ago! I hope y'all enjoy! Any feedback would be great!
    Here is what I recommend starting with if you are just starting to do traditional window cleaning!

    On the window screen rods, put a screwdriver or a rod on the hole at the bottom, and spin it like a lug wrench. It’ll make it a whole lot faster to wind down.

    Was thinking about buying a water fed RO/DI system such as a Xero Pure, what are your thoughts. Great video by the way!

    • @JoshuaTheWindowCleaner
      @JoshuaTheWindowCleaner  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank You! Well, I don't personally have an opinion about the XERO Pure because I do not use that specific system. Depending on where you are at with your business would depend on my thoughts. It for sure allows us to do more work and a lot safer with a WFP system. But if your just doing storefronts and residentials I would stick to traditionally cleaning until you're ready for bigger projects. But if you are ready to take it to the next level then yes get a WFP system. I use and highly recommend the 4060 by Tucker. But the reason why I say all this is because I see guys buying WFP systems too early and end up selling the system for much less than they paid because their business did not demand the upgrade. Build slowly if you are just starting out and it will have a good foundation. I did traditional cleaning for almost 3 years, and I had to get a WFP for a huge job that I was using a lift for. Now I make much more on the maintenance job with my investment. I hope that makes sense and helps you make a wise decision. :)

      @@JoshuaTheWindowCleaner Very informative info, I work as a fire fighter and mainly do pressure washing on the side and use window cleaning as a fill in but sometimes seem to get more window cleaning jobs than pressure washing . Was just mainly considering water feed for the French pane in the @#%'s and 2nd story's, but definitely get they're not cheap. If and when that time comes will take a look at the Tucker. I've learned window cleaning from youtube, lol. Thanks again for the response, much appreciated.
