As a thank you for everyone who's joined the MtG tribe and hit that subscribe button, here are 35 parallel bar exercises I've used on my journey to get to where I am. These are all beginner/intermediate level so I'm confident ANYONE can learn these given enough time and practice. I hope they help you on your calisthenics journey was well! For those of you who have the B-Bars, you'll be able to attempt all of these exercises. If you have the BaseBar (single bar) then you'll be able to try a lot of them, but not quite all. And of course, if you have some other type of parallel bars, give these a shot and you should find you're able to do most of them on your equipment.
Let me know in the comments what else you want to see on the channel. I'm looking for ideas! :)

Anyone? Really? Is that supposed to be sarcastic? As soon as the arms are done everything's done. I'm pretty much as fit as the people falling into the pit in "This is the end". If I had to pull myself up from the edge of a Cliff I'd be done for.
Gerrrrooonimoooooooo!!!
*Splat!*
Excellent teacher 🙏

Nice! I hope you like the exercises. I was going to include some banded exercises in the video too but didn’t want to add more equipment into the mix. That’s great you have assistance bands though. Definitely use them 👍
Great video, what bars are those? And would you mind sharing a link for them? Thankd

Is there any difference between dip bars and these parallel bars? Trying to see which one to buy to start working out
Now I need parallel bars , I thought of doing this say , 20 years ago , now to make-it happen .
Fire
Brilliant ... Could you do a follow up with paralette bars?
Added to the list. Thanks!
I ordered my B-Bars last night, and they will be here tomorrow.
Hey man, where do I find this parallel bar you’re using? Also what’s the height & length of yours thanks!
Can you recomend on gloves and wrist bands?
Hi, bought the b-bars using your code. Would you consider also incorporating gymnastic rings with these bars? Would be interesting to see what you do with them!
I used ur code for baseblocks thanks saved me 20$
Good stuff! You can add L Sit Chin Ups and L Sit Dead Hangs also.
I probably missed a lot of exercises. I think I was too exhausted after 35 sets 😆
@@MinusTheGym I've thought of a few more since I commented. Your video was a great primer to get me thinking of all the ways to use bars. Thanks!
Nice music!
Thank you for appreciating audience
Hey i already have gym rings. Will it be a a wise investment on parallet?
Where did you get the '70s cop show funk music? Awesome!
Lol yeah, I love that song. Reminds me of Daft Punk a bit. It’s called “Lonely Earth (Instrumental)” by Icarus. It’s from artlist.io which is a site for creators to get royalty free music for their videos.
Ok dude, whats the name of that song you play throughout the video? Btw killer vids and awesome progressions have been made, thanks for all the help.
Thanks! And it’s called “Lonely Earth (Instrumental)” by Icarus. Totally reminds me of Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories album.
I added dips to my workout as well as pike push-ups, with my feet on the box, hands on the floor. Not a lot of them: 3-5 reps. Now I can't even do usual push-ups with full range of motion because my shoulder starts to hurt.
I guess not every workout is designed for everyone, at least in my case doing dips.
Back lever too
Even better if you have parallel bars + rings...
You can do body rows and deep push ups hanging the rings on the bars (with elevated feet)
Hi thanks for the video. Are these exercises in order of difficulty from easiest to hardest or are they random? Thanks
From what I remember, they were not from easiest to hardest but more based on movement category. Start with support holds (above the bar) and hangs (beneath the bar) and then gradually start working up to negatives and then full reps. It will take a lot of time and persistence, but that’s part of the fun and how you get your money’s worth :)
@@MinusTheGym Ok. Thanks good to know.
It would be a bit harder to pull off some of these on rings. I use them on a beginner to intermediate level. I recommend starting off on parallel bars. Awesome video and thanks!
gardens looking good
Thanks!
Hey brother do you think I can break my neck in a handstand I’ve been very fearful of it
Hi I watched your video and really want to buy a pair of parallel bars. May I know which ones you have?
I’m using the B-Bars by BaseBlocks (original, not pro) in this video, and those are still my parallel bars currently. If you’re interested, this link will save you 10% OFF at checkout on any originals at their store: baseblocks.fit/?minusthegym
A different timeline where Jhonny Sins has a "different" and better lifestyle. Btw just wanted to say, really good video. Keep making such great videos :)
Nice property
Can i use this double bar instead of pull up and chin up bar? Would it be as effective?
Yes. The B-Bars can be used for pull ups and chin ups, you just need to do them in an L-sit fashion.
How can i get this bar? Worldwide shipping?
My first time doing this
Tips on L-sits, I have an incredibly weak core

Swinging body on bars?
This is exactly what I am looking for ,but would it be say 3 sets of 8
What bars are used in the video?
Those are the B-Bars from BaseBlocks. If you’re interested, you can use my discount code MTG10 to save 10% on them! www.baseblocks.fit/pages/b-bars
