I'm a M27Q-P owner, and looking at the review I'm only really feeling left out by that contrast ratio being 50% better. The M27QP is quite grey, but overall the rest of the image is wonderful. The m27QA doesn't seem to improve my other problems with the monitor (minimum brightness, usb-c being sub 45 watts) and ends up a wash on other things like motion clarity and color, with a lower maximum SDR brightness for my bright room on some days. Overall a worthwhile monitor but nothing that feels like it's actually replaced the M27QP. Hopefully they can improve smartOD for variable refresh rate too since it's been lacking for years now! I have a question(s) about color deviation and “oversaturation” of “sdr content”. (stream of consciousness below. no structure, BEWARE) if I have a monitor in wide color gamut mode(calibrated, no red/orange faces), and the one who watches the content created by me - also has the same mode (and that is recommended setup). it will turns out that everything is conveyed perfectly without oversaturation, even when viewing SDR content. but if a person turns on sRGB mode, he will simply get a low saturated picture, not the correct(intended) one. the picture conveys 8bit sdr 255red as “the reddest possible”, so how "the reddest possible" may turn out to be too red? I understand how SDR content has low color resolution, and I understand that the sRGB standard has a fixed wavelength of light for colors. But why do we, while having good monitors for 250-300 dollars that easily cover 130+% of the SRG - are still measuring deviations using the outdated sRGB? To me it seems to be more logical to measure the downward deviation of all the modes from Rec2020 main question is: This guessing of the creator's intention is a very strange thing, yea, “you'll never guess,” but is it worth using the oldest and worst mode possible because of this? its not even default one! and muuuuch further from default than adobergb or dp3 p.s. I would be interested to know how much the default mods of monitors changes within the gamut relative to DP3 not srgb. after all, red/orange faces disappear after calibration even in wide gamut, which means there is distortion/oversaturation in mid-tones not in peak. p.s2 it’s strange that monitors setting have only one value per color and not like an equalizer with 10 sliders

Once you are already spending that much on your pc, might as well pick a monitor that will last you for many generations. Is there any chance you guys get to review the Accer predator xb283k 4k 144hrz monitor?
Does GS27QA model is similar tô M27?
Like to see a review on the Asus XG27ACMG 1440p 240hz OC 270hz
We need local dimming to get cheap
Is it better than LG 27gn800-b though?
does anyone know when 1440p 24in high refresh rate monitors will start becoming common?
Acer Nitro XV2 Gaming Monitor - XV272U F3BMIIPRX i saw this monitor on sale recently its 27inch 1440p 300hz is it like the previous acer moniter you reviewed , the price is tempting but i don't know if the low refresh experience would be good when using vrr in single player games
Will there ever be a better 4k panel that isnt oled than the lg gp950?
Xiaomi G Pro 27i needs a look .
Your channel has been incredibly helpful and informative and I appreciate the charts more than you know. I'm trying to decide between the ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACS and the AOC Q27G3XMN for a "just for now/then second monitor" while I save for an Alienware AW2725DF. It *looks* to me like the AOC has better color and the ASUS better gaming performance. Is this accurate? I'm looking for a best looking color monitor for under $300 that can still perform ok with games until I get the Alienware. Thanks and keep up the great work.
I am in the same boat as you, what did you end up getting?
@@KrishabBashyal Later this month or early next month, and probably the AOC as things are looking. I think it's a wash, honestly, but let me know if one makes more sense to you than the other.
@@KrishabBashyal Hey, just so you know the AOC is down to $250 today on Amazon.
@@GhostpainOG already placed the order last night haha
@@KrishabBashyal Nice,. Same right after I posted. Woot.
what is panel model?
I need a recommendation for a very good IPS 27inch 1440p monitor, and maybe one that is the same 1440p 27inch but Mini LED. Up to max 600eur maybe..
I bought KTC 27" mini led VA panel 1440p 165hz for 400 euro, and it is perfect monitor for this budget. You cannot buy better monitor for 400 euro. It is HDR1000 with 572 mini led zones. Best bang for the buck
Now update the m27qx, please.
I have msi optic g242 with 1.2a supported current link, however it only shows 2.7 GHz ? Why is that?
make video on Xiaomi 27 monitor
Xiaomi g pro 27i
This, or the AOC 27G3XMN??
At similar prices the AOC is more impressive overall
please review the koorui 27e3q
Seen xg27acs as low as 200. To me this one would have to get even lower to compete
sony m10s review pls
Im hesitating between M27QA and Asus XG27ACS, seems like XG27ACS have better performance, but i do heard about XG27ACS have some issue eith the hard matte coating, wondering if anyone have suggestion on this
Get M27QA
ASUS VG27AQML1A review??
There is quality issues with these monitors atleast in eu , first one came in after 2 days green stuck pixel appeared , i sent it back in for warranty got replacement and the same thing happen in different place on the monitor green stuck pixel appeared. So beware anyone buying without warranty , the monitors colors are great and price is fair but these stuck pixel issues especialy with back go back replacement doesnt seem to be good quality control.
As always it depends on price
please review Msi g274qpf e2
I don't know man, it could be half the price, still don't want to buy a gigabyte product.
ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACS or LG UltraGear 27GR83Q???
If you want 1440p 240hz, I recommend ASUS VG27AQML1A.
@@Azccccc you have it ? is there any good review for this?
@@sick7jam I have both and I find Asus more responsive and faster even with 180hz vs LGs 240hz. Mostly play esports titles like cs2 and Valorant and it’s a rock solid monitor to work on as well.
@@picklepew1497 could i bother you with some more questions ? some ppl are pointing out that the xg27acs has some weird matt panel coating, they say its a bit fuzzy etc and it looks bad when you are viewing bright surfaces like white background or clouds in games.. is that true ?

So it's 165Hz panel OC to 180Hz but not fast enough to do it in one single overdrive mode. No HDR capability zero light zones, and still 280$. Not worth it.
Review ex270qm
280 bucks expensive? It costs 550 bucks in Bangladesh after tax i would buy 2 if it was 280 here
I think there is no point anymore to test these kind of monitor, they are all the same, always same issues/bad thing like trash refresh compliance, good brightness, average colortimetry etc
Hi Tim, currently building my first very own pc with a 7800x3d and a 3090 (hopefully not a scam, because i found it used on fb marketplace for 650 euros), do you recommend the M27QA with 180hz or the M27QX if it's available? or another 240hz option, if you will? by the way, i mainly play esports titles, but i'm planning on venturing on single player games
Once you are already spending that much on your pc, might as well pick a monitor that will last you for many generations. As a general rule of thumb, I like to think that you should spend as much on your monitor as you do on your gpu. That being said, it obviously only applies if you do have budget for that
i'd recommend u to save a little more and wait for the next gen, its coming on January, and it'll give u much better perfomance for the price u pay and it'll last u longer
@@rodrigoferreiramaciel4815 the fact of having the budget for it depends on my job situation. i'm doing an intership right now and, even though my boss told me he was interested in hiring me, i'll hold my judgement until the end of the contract. Right now i'm able to afford an M27QX, but if there are better options for quite a bit more money (maybe 500 to 600 euros at most) i could consider it, but i would like that extra money to go towards a 3rd monitor, maybe a 1080p 120hz IPS
@@rodrigoferreiramaciel4815 I talked about a 3rd monitor because I already have a 1080p 165hz HP X27 monitor
@@あなた以外の誰でもない well that's perfect timing because my job situation will be certain in January and I'm not done building my pc yet so I guess I'll wait
Acs very bad coating and the dell same price as m27qa.. learned nothing.
Hello I have Integrated Graphic , does it support 2k 144hz? Cause it shows max 2k 60hz
Which one is it
2K is 2048x1080.
@GrainGrown based (sadly they were probly asking for 1440p so I was asking what igpu they had)
Gigabyte needs to start adding 60+W power delivery, it's criminal how despite advertising KVM functionality their PD is still 10-15W.
Power is not part of KVM. How is it criminal? Kvm is keyboard, video, and mouse switching...

its getting worse and worse releasing monitors that no one cares :D
Every report is 27". It turns me off this channel.
It’s the best monitor size for 1440p.
Every report is 27 inch ? What do you mean by this ?
I believe 27" is one of the most popular sizes for gaming monitors. So it makes sense companies seem to make way more 27" gaming monitors
How dare they review the best size!
