    When they came out, the Simsonns were better than the already excellent Simjacks.
    Now Simjack have leap-frogged over Simsonn.
    I suspect that Simsonn will try and improve their model.

      i got the simsonns as the bearings, more inputs on the box and price was better at the time but i think id take the sj ut today.
      that being said the huesinkveld ut upgrade is meant to work on both the older sj and current simsonns so maybe @simracingcorner can get the upgrade and tell us if the box, software and end user exp of the huesinkveld ut upgrade is worth it. gets you access to their software too.

    I actually prefer the red with the yellow spring. It gives great sports car feel without being overly hard. Going as hard as you can, just because, doesn't make sense to me when in most vehicles that we drive we have softer brake pedals (also G forces that help when stopping that's not present when using a sim).

    Looks like the Simsonns now sell as Pro Plus and have changed elastomers to almost the same as the UT/Ultimate. They now have the 80 and 90 green and blue ones, but come with the reds installed.

    There's Simruito pedals. And they have thicker metal plate on brake pedal as well. I just bought 3 pedals from them WITH metal plates for 110$, it's like stupid cheap now during aliexpress event with all discounts and promo codes.
    So now, as far as I can tell, Simjacks are the best on ali quality wise, they have more thicker plates and maybe better elastomers. Simruito is at second quality wise. Price\Quality wise they're by far on the first place. And Simsonn on third because of same elastomers and thin metal plates on brake pedal.
    That metal plate is kinda big deal, because a lot of people had problem with that plate bending on stiff brake in early simjacks.
    But. Simruito pedals are like 1\2-1\3 of simjacks price. So you can buy 3 simjack pedals OR you can buy 3 simruito pedals + metal baseplate + Heusinkveld Elastomer Kit with definitely "the best" elastomers and still have 100$ to spare. And if you add like 70$, you can go for simagic haptics for 2 pedals(on ali as well)
    Here's what I paid. Simruito pedals with baseplate 110$, simagic haptics 165$(2 reactors+control box), for simagic you need psu, but I prefer to diy here with much better meanwell psu for like 20$ (24V 3A), Heusinkveld Elastomer Kit like 30 euro. 110 + 165 + 20 + 30=325. So much stuff for so low price it's not even funny.

    • @Gamer-sq8vc
      @Gamer-sq8vc 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You're forgetting the Heusinkveld Ultimate clones. They even come with the same Mavin brand loadcells and German Fibro brand elastomers as the Ultimates. They are a true clone of the Ultimates. They've also been around for years (on AE, EB, etc.) like the other pedals but it seems people only talk about Sim Jack, Simsonn, and SimRuito. I think, technically, they're DT Sim Racing or SimDT or something like that but the listings often don't mention it.
      I purchased them a couple years back (in black). I also purchased the Heusinkveld Ultimate+ upgrade kit. I then purchased the MRP HE Ultimate+ Brake Spring Upgrade Kit as well as the HRS Big Foot Series HE Ultimate pedal pads.

    Given the similarities between the two pedal sets, did you happen to try the Simsonn pedals with the Simjack controller box to see if they were picked up? I have the Simsonn pedals and whilst I've managed to dial out the EMI in the software by adjusting the thresholds, with my setup I've never been able to fully do away with it. I have noticed some flex in the loadcell area in your review videos of the Simjack pedals, but I can't tell if that's flex in the pedal or if it's the pedal plate / tray on the rig that is flexing. Can you enlighten me? The Simjack UT's look really good, I'd say it would be quite an upgrade to my Fanatec CSL LC pedals?

    • @SimRacingCorner
      @SimRacingCorner  15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Loadcells flex, as that's how they register input. And there's a bit of flex from the sim rig. So that's what you're seeing. There's no flex from the pedal arm or frame. And indeed, they are a significant upgrade over the CSL LC pedals.

    something nobody seems to think about when talking brakes are us scrubs who use folding rigs. i wish i had a profile rig but that wasn't an option at the start of the year for me. it is now but thats another tale.
    i have to use the red rubbers and yellow spring or my rig tips back. stiffer brakes are also not needed by everyone. the young, females and some lighter men all are better suited to the lighter brake options.
    now that being said, i am looking to change my rig and will be using the stiffer options then and what i really want to know is. how much better are the huesiunkveld ut upgrades than either of these out the box? are they much like the sj uts now or is the software night and day difference. please consider this for a future vid :)

      The Heusinkveld UT kit on either of these are a night and day difference.
      The Heusinkveld software is leaps ahead

    So is the 3drap mod better than both?

      No. The 3DRAP mod was good with the older Simsonn/SimJack pedals, that shipped with poor elastomers and springs.

    This dude changes his opinions on a monthly basis so take it with a grain of salt.

      Unfortunately, I can't predict the future, a review is based on what I have in front of me at the time. And making a broad statement that I change my opinion on a monthly basis is objectively false, dude!

      @@SimRacingCorner Yeah that's fair. I'm a little disappointed I got the simsonns ngl. I especially like that you can change the pedal plate height on those newer simjacks. It confused me that wasn't adjustable on the simsonns.

      Don't forget these are the UT ones and not the previous PRO ones - UTs have bearings rather than a rod with brass washer, thicker plates on load cells and a few other things, maybe that was enough to inch it ahead of simsonn. Oh well i've a UT set that arrived this morning so can't wait to try them out.

      Dude, lighten up. Clearly he is a detail oriented person who looks at products with a very critical eye. As he said, he can't predict product development or how an untested product will compare to one currently in his possession. Criticism like your is totally unnecessary and tends to dissuade reviewers who do great work on our behalf, to give us useful info for our purchasing choices. Sucks you got a bit caught behind here, but the product you bought is exactly the same one you decided to buy, so there's no reason to get pissy with him when something better comes along.

    The Simsonn pedals have brass bushings, the SimJack have plastic bushings. Use these for awhile and you will see the Simjack pedals start to wobble side to side
    The Simmons pedals stay solid.

      Wow, that's a lot of misinformation right there.
