Been using the VRS pedals since the first few production batches (about 2 years) and waited a bit on preorder for them too. I absolutely love them and swear by them. They're like an aluminum profile cockpit but pedals. Universally adjustable and extremely smooth. I can never see myself using another pedal set and don't ever foresee these breaking.
Great review! Agree with everything in this video. Have had my VRS pedals since August 2021 and they are the best pedals I’ve ever had. I’ve had a couple of sets of old Thrustmaster pedals, Fanatec clubsport V1’s, and ProtoSimTech PT1’s and these VRS pedals are just in their own league. Smooth, adjustable, responsive, quiet and so far their reliability has been 100%. No issues whatsoever. And truly great value for money. Keep the great content coming!

Literally went to a friend's today to try these and said "there aren't any really good reviews on these anywhere"... And what do you know! Thanks Will, this has sealed the deal.
You talk about the progression of the pedal on 40:46. Thank you very much for noting it in the video. I spend a lot of my time drifting, and on drifting, the throttle control is probably one of the most important things. So, having a throttle where you can reliably know how much % you're pressing just on muscle memory is very important :)
Agree with this review, I've had these since the beta release and they are outstanding, what's more, the support from VRS is as stellar, they are people who care about their customers well beyond the sale date.
Daily used these pedals for a significant amount of time. They were and still are my favorite set of pedals. However, I'm my use case, they had 1 flaw. No dampers. They are all built with the mounts for them, all their media pictures them, yet they just aren't putting in the effort to get the dampers finished and out for sale due to their team feeling "they are not necessary". Damper for the throttle can make up for the fact that there is very little difference between fully soft and fully stiff on the throttle spring and the throttle not giving quite enough feedback for someone that needs a stiffer throttle pedal. Curious how it will affect the brake, but with all the talk and workarounds on their discord, VRS really needs to have some option springs for the brake. One for in between the blue and red and one stiffer than the red. Found it really not possible to set the brake up to achieve that very stiff, low amount of movement even with the spring compressed with extra preload and the longest the tie rod can go. Due to these very small items, I chose to move to the HE Ultimate plus pedals and have been significantly faster with them. As soon as the dampers and a spring upgrade are available, I will be buying them again. But to be fair, buying a longer tie rod may allow for the feeling I need out of the brake pedal.
I have a set of these on the way. I always watch this channel, find items to buy - then re-watch the video while the item is on the way. Its better than an instruction manual!
I would find it difficult to believe someone complain about never getting the VRS pedal set to feel the way they want. The set is very fiddly, but intentionally so that whatever feel you prefer is there. You just have to spend time tweaking the set. Other sets may lock you in to a feel, e.g. aestek pedals are a short, stiff throw. What if you don't want a short, stiff throw? Well, you're stuck. It takes time but you can find your setup with the VRS. I think the versatility in adjustments is the major advantage to the VRS pedals, but be warned you'll need to invest some time dialing it in. Also, the bolts are helluva tight from the factory. You'll want some long handle hex or ratchet with hex adapters. You can't be disappointed.
I was one of the first to get these and they're still as good today as the day I got them. The great thing is that vrs are quick to answer any questions I had
I run these pedals. They are quite noisy when they hit the stops and the clutch is just terrible. The brake also requires a fair amount of fiddling to get the feel right. That said though, the brake and throttle are amazing. Incredible value for money.
I really wish I could try a bunch of different pedal sets before ultimately choosing one. I was really interested in the VRS pedals as I use the steering base and wouldn't mind keeping it in the family so to speak. I ultimately decided on the Meca Sim EVO pedals. I'm still waiting for them, but I'm super excited for them to arrive.

They really are awesome pedals and easily the last set I’ll have on the rig for a long time… which is a good thing but also sad as I love buying new gear 😂
I like their brake pedal pivot a lot, smart way to eliminate the motion ratio change with travel. The brake pedal springs are a nice touch too. I just ordered some springs to replace the elastomers on my HPPs to see how they feel, I’d like to get some simulation of the initial master cylinder cutoff and pad travel before disc contact so it’s cool to see how other pedals approach that
Those Talento pedals you reviewed the other day clearly impressed you too. Lots of attention to detail in that design by the looks of it. Enjoyed your video. :)

@@boostedmedia Hi will. Just installed it. I messaged at messenger. Hope you’ll will see if you have time. If you cannot see maybe it is in message request. Daryll F. Piedad is the name of the account. Thanks This pertains to VRS pedals
They seem like the best option before going for the Heusinkveld Ultimate. I still have my HE Pro pedals from 2017 but a lot of people who I've talked too and have tried and used the sprints were somewhat disappointed despite how much a jump they are versus anything bellow. These VRS pedals basically took the place of the old HE Pros which they opened themselves by not offering them anymore. $780 AUD is a damn good price for just a 2 set of them.
Definitely one of your best reviews I’ve ever seen😁 What I like best in what I’ve noticed compared to previous review vids is the organized format of the vid, especially the conclusions section at the end, more similar to Barry @ SRG. What I liked better than Barry’s vids is you talk about where & how these pedals perform in comparison to other pedals on the market. (Barry would just say if they worked well or not, not if an aspect was better/worse than another pedal)
Been using these for a year now. I enjoy these much more than my v3 pedals.I am more than comfortable keeping these on my rig and have no interest in upgrading anytime soon. For the price these are hard to beat!
Hey Will. Great review as always mate. I’m seriously considering these to replace my MECA Cups. Although I love my pedals, I’ve had to replace the spring in the throttle load cell 4 times now. These VRS springs look really sturdy and multiple adjustment points are also really useful. Cheers
Based on this review I think they’re fairly similar to the mecas, I love mine too but thankfully my throttle springs been fine. How long before yours broke?
@@SwordnScale first spring snapped after about 3 months. Then I had more fail in a similar time frame. The guys at MECA were really great and air freighted me extra springs. I also think they have changed the spring material. The current spring was installed back in November 2021.
A handful of influencers have raved about Simagic’s inverted pedals and the real car feel. They also have highly positive things to say about the build quality, adjustable elastomer system, and the FFD. Does anyone have a comparison of Simagic with VRS?
I'm tempted by these but kind of wish they sold a pedal plate for them. I run a NLR GTelite rig and would need to source a 3rd party plate to mount them.
@@boostedmedia I found their brake system totally overengineered. Its just weird to use and adjust, because its not a classic load cell. It also measures the movement instead of pressure. Didnt like that at all. Toolless adjustments was very nice though. But quality of the VRS is just 2 classes higher. For me those fit perfectly. At the end everything is subjective
Was considering new pedals for a while but couldn’t find anything wrong with my v3’s really to upgrade . Anyway off the back of this review I thought they are reasonably priced look great and the outlet was not to far from me in Melbourne. I went to see Julian at VRS today who was very helpful brilliant customer service and after having ago handed my money over. They look better in the flesh very well made and after setting them up on my rig ( bloody update wouldn’t work for ages after about 30 attempts it did and loads of swearing ) I did a few laps at interlagos within 5 laps I was 0.5 seconds quicker than my previous best money well spent . So Buy VRS pedals they are bloody great !!
Hey Will, great review. Have you ever thought of doing a ‘Will Score’ (aka Doug Score)? With all the choices available it can be a little overwhelming trying to compare product A to B, A to C etc… If you had a spreadsheet with various categories rated, it would make comparing pedals more straightforward and easier to make a purchasing decision. Just a thought.
Hi Will, I am looking at options to upgrade my sim setup from the T300. I have checked out your review on the VNM pedals. If you consider the reliability of the elastomers, would you still choose the VNM over the VRS
On my DIY Pedals I came to the same conclusion as the VRS pedals. Spring(s) on the brake just feel better and provide more longevity than elastomers. Hence I am not surprised they are perceived well. The only other pedals I know of that use springs for the brake are the german Nuo Evo1.
Amazing video like always! Can you test the Augury Simulations 121 set of pedals? I think those are the nicest pedals i've ever seen and It will be great to know how they perform
@boosted Media I'm completely new to sim racing but also went all in in gear and went with the vrs pedals. Currently I'm on the default setup just the red sprint. Which tie rod length u ended up using? Would also like to get a little more travel. Thanks!
Hey Will great video. Question, in your experience, do you find it more beneficial to have the pedal face position at the top or closer to the middle of the pedal?
Think I'm going to get a couple of my old Meccano sets out and build me a set of these pedals. Joking aside, I'm very tempted. Just feels strange to strap these to my cheap folding Playseat (Perils of a London flat .... ).
I'm a fan of inverting pedal mounts....easier to keep my rig clean..... anyone have any ideas or input about this? currently in running the JVB3's with the original pedal faces and just never have cared for the side to side slop in those!
I just got these pedals and they are great. What I want to know though is what wheel you are using. Looks like one of the new GT Pro Cube Controls had at simexpo but with a twist.
Great video!! If you had to choose between these and the heusinkveld ultimates which one would you choose? I know they're very similar but which one would you choose?
Will be a huge jump in the feel and overall build quality. I went from V3s to the BJ Steel GT Pro and there is alread a HUGE difference. Treshold braking is amazing (never managed to get the V3s to behave like I wanted) and another huge difference is the throttle pedal feel. And with these it should be even better. So I would say go for it
I am hooked after getting the Moza R5 Bundle. I have returned it and I am ready to invest. I have been looking at Simagic P2000R Pedals, Alpha Ultimate Base, GT Pro Wheel, FX Pro Wheel, DS-8X shifter. My friend that has been into Sim Racing and spent some time in the pit in Nascar suggested the VRS system. I am open for any incite from you all. Thanks in advance.
@@realVRS yeah, took me a few weeks to get used to having a brake pedal that requires such a high force to actuate (admittedly I used the red spring as recommended in this review) but now I've got the hang of it and feel like I have nice control. Also modded on a simagic haptic reactor
I was wondering how long it would take you to review them, I've been spamming the shit of how good they are forever lmao. I've had mine for coming up a year now, been absolutely flawless, zero software compatibility issues too (ACC, iracing, RF2, AMS2, DR2.0)
Nice one guys.. another addition to me dream list! Speaking of which… Are you guys planning on reviewing the PSVR2 and GT7? Early reports appear to be very positive, but won’t believe the hype till you guys have got some time with it 😉
I've got a set of OBP Pedals currently and I was thinking about the comments you made about automotive brands going into sim racing. I've had them now for just over a year and I'm still not comfortable with them. I am now debating these and the Invicta pedals. In the UK however they're both similarly priced so I'd welcome your opinion into which way I should go?
so should i buy these or he ultimates? maby something else? first sim rig but dont want to upgrade later would rather add stuff instead of upgrade. simucube pedals are to much for me on this one
I have tried only a few pedals. I owned the TCLM's, now I own the Simgrade VX Pros. Before buying my VX's, I tried a friends VRS pedals for about 10-15 minutes & another friend & I were incredibly impressed. I'm still trying to get my Simgrades to where I want, trying different configurations after 3 mths. I barely tried the Ultimate's at a Microcenter, so I can't comment on those but the VRS are best pedals my friends & I have tried.
How does the simgaic p100 pedals stack up against these? I can get the P1000 for about $400 cheaper including free shipping so was curious if it was worth the extra expense to go with VRS. I honestly am having a hard time choose as every youtuber seems to say that every pedal they review is awesome LOL. And I dont know whether I like a stiff throw or not, I wont know till I buy a set. Currently running my old G27 which is ok but I always wanted to upgrade but not break the bank doing it
Do you think its worth getting these pedals when for the most part the max pressure ill use is 40kg? I'm leanimg towards getting a Playseat Trophy, how many kg of pressure did you run before flex was noticeable in the Trophy? Would be good if there was a solution to reinforce the pedal plate but i havent found anyone with success from doing that yet.
I recently bought a set of these for my new rig and have found the actual pedals not so bad.....BUT the software is ordinary . If you have all 3 pedals, the system will calibrate normally, but after replacing my brake pedal with simucube, it turned to shit. With only 2 pedals in the system, it had major issues. For over $1000 a set, the software should be a whole lot better. On my first rig, I had a set of Heuskinveld Pro Pedals, and would still buy them over these, purely on the software alone. I also found their brake pedals to be better as well, but that's just me.
Can you maybe do more of a deep dive on these vs the ultimate + pedals? I’m considering both and this review makes me even more confused about which is right for me

@@boostedmedia Hi will. Just installed it. I messaged at messenger. Hope you’ll will see if you have time. If you cannot see maybe it is in message request. Daryll F. Piedad is the name of the account. Thanks
This pertains to VRS pedals
They seem like the best option before going for the Heusinkveld Ultimate. I still have my HE Pro pedals from 2017 but a lot of people who I've talked too and have tried and used the sprints were somewhat disappointed despite how much a jump they are versus anything bellow. These VRS pedals basically took the place of the old HE Pros which they opened themselves by not offering them anymore. $780 AUD is a damn good price for just a 2 set of them.
Don't waste your money on the HE utilmates, the VRS pedals are better IMO.
They are better
These are the better option when compared to the HE Ultimates! The brake pedal is the biggest differentiator...
I was looking foward for this review. Thanks for another great video.
Been using these for a year now. I enjoy these much more than my v3 pedals.I am more than comfortable keeping these on my rig and have no interest in upgrading anytime soon. For the price these are hard to beat!
did you drop your lap times?
@@biturbo skill issue :)
Awesome video! Do you like the feel of these more than the invictas? I’m trying to decide what I should go with for ecosystem.
VRS is much better 👌
I'm tempted by these but kind of wish they sold a pedal plate for them. I run a NLR GTelite rig and would need to source a 3rd party plate to mount them.
I use mine without a pedal plate no issues
@@trevz1048 is that on the same rig? NLR GT Elite?
The ideal pedal for the discerning small souled bugman.
Highly recommended. 👏
I've run my Logitech Gpro pedals for 2 years without ever oiling them or getting any problems ,Not working atm and race 10hrs a day with zero issues
Tried the Forte, didn't like them, immediately changed over to the VRS and I'm in love with those now :) Build quality is soooo good
I think the Forte pedals are awesome if they suit your driving style. But these are far more versatile.
I'm really curious to see you guys review the Meca Sim Evo1s
Mmmmmmm.........I'm hooked on this set! Awesome detail and info Will. Thank you.
Great review Will. Btw did you use a base plate for these pedals and if so which one as I understand VRS don't supply their own?
Bolted directly to the TR120 rig.
Where abouts in Melbourne are they?
@@Dooogzliterally where
Hey Will, great review.
Looking to upgrade from V3 s to VRS or Sprints. Based on the comments seems like the VRS is the way
What did you go with?
Hi Will, I am looking at options to upgrade my sim setup from the T300. I have checked out your review on the VNM pedals. If you consider the reliability of the elastomers, would you still choose the VNM over the VRS
Great timing on the review ! - I was just looking at these vs the HE Sprints
Great review of the VRS pedals. I wanted to purchase them using your affiliate link but it seems it is no longer working on the VRS website.
Would love to these how these stack up to VNM's pedals. I went with those instead due to the ability to add dampers, these look amazing though.
Great video Will, ordered throttle and brake today.. Can’t wait to try.
Hi Will, great video. Will you be doing a review on the MECA EVO1 hydraulic panels?
Amazing video like always! Can you test the Augury Simulations 121 set of pedals? I think those are the nicest pedals i've ever seen and It will be great to know how they perform
Thanks Will. Vrs setup here I come. Hope you get a referral link soon. Looking to order both real soon. ❤
@boosted Media
I'm completely new to sim racing but also went all in in gear and went with the vrs pedals.
Can't decide between these and simtrec propedal GT. Anyone help with my choice?
Having tested both those brands you would be happy with both. So it all comes down to which ones you like the look of the best!
@@barrymanon9459 thanks mate. Appreciate the feedback.
Do you recommend these or the Simagic P2000?
Great review as always Will.
How well can these be run inverted, especially compared to the Sprint? I am primarily concerned about the throttle.
I’m looking for an upgrade from V3’s and these look pretty good.
So I would say go for it
i did exactly that, went from the V3 to the VRS. Just do it mate, you´ll never regret it! So much nicer feeling!!...
Hi Will, would you recommend this set or the SimLab XP1?
I am hooked after getting the Moza R5 Bundle. I have returned it and I am ready to invest. I have been looking at Simagic P2000R Pedals, Alpha Ultimate Base, GT Pro Wheel, FX Pro Wheel, DS-8X shifter. My friend that has been into Sim Racing and spent some time in the pit in Nascar suggested the VRS system. I am open for any incite from you all. Thanks in advance.
Budget for Base, wheel/s, pedals, and shifter is around $4000.
Bought them on the strength of your review 🤞🤞
And do you like them?
@@realVRS yeah, took me a few weeks to get used to having a brake pedal that requires such a high force to actuate (admittedly I used the red spring as recommended in this review) but now I've got the hang of it and feel like I have nice control. Also modded on a simagic haptic reactor
@@realVRSI'm not sure if I can answer but do you know if your pedals work with the simagic vibration motors?
I wonder what your views on the Imsim talento pedals will be.
Are these 200kg load cell or 140kg like the website says?
I was wondering how long it would take you to review them, I've been spamming the shit of how good they are forever lmao.
I've had mine for coming up a year now, been absolutely flawless, zero software compatibility issues too (ACC, iracing, RF2, AMS2, DR2.0)
How are the simlabs pedals compared to these ?
So basically if u have ultimate+ pedals dont bother but if you dont have them then have a look at these👍
I’d say that’s pretty accurate.
I'm totally sold on VRS equipment !
I can’t decide between VRS and new MECA EVO LC…somebody have any experience with those?
Wonder how this compare against the simgrade VX Pro's as they both seems like very good pedals
In the UK however they're both similarly priced so I'd welcome your opinion into which way I should go?
i modded throttle pedal on my moza srp lite the same way, feels very nice
what is the benefit of using a load cell in accelerator and clutch pedals? in comparison with a hall sensor
Your review made pre order a set thank you
Great review,electronic is 12 or 16 bit?
so should i buy these or he ultimates? maby something else? first sim rig but dont want to upgrade later would rather add stuff instead of upgrade. simucube pedals are to much for me on this one
Definitely VRS, better value for money and just as good
How does the simgaic p100 pedals stack up against these? I can get the P1000 for about $400 cheaper including free shipping so was curious if it was worth the extra expense to go with VRS. I honestly am having a hard time choose as every youtuber seems to say that every pedal they review is awesome LOL. And I dont know whether I like a stiff throw or not, I wont know till I buy a set. Currently running my old G27 which is ok but I always wanted to upgrade but not break the bank doing it
How do these work with the CSL DD wheel? I just bought some for my CSL DD but didn’t think about connections
If you are on PC, just plug them into a USB port. If you are on console, it isn't going to work.
Can you please verify how the rubber, plastic washer and spring should be stalked on the Heusinkfeld pedals in this video? thx
These look great, but even now I can’t find stock anywhere here in the UK so I’ll likely end up just ordering some Sprints.
I’m considering both and this review makes me even more confused about which is right for me
There’s very little difference between them in therms of the driving experience. You’ll be happy with either.
So VRS or Invictas ? Which do you prefer? I’m really tempted to go VRS!
coil springs in cars are like that and they have been know to work for a long time
