My friend bought the top sepc tekna +, he has a video review of his new Juke if you wish to see it drive around Glasgow? th-cam.com/video/y-v6LMQUGsI/w-d-xo.html
I took the Nissan Juke for a test Drive last January and I thought it was a good car but they need to add another engine even if they carry out an engine from the new Nissan Quasqai, I would rather a 1.3 mild hybrid than a 1.0 that is supercharged.
Very clever editing to leave the engine choice right until the end of the video, I suspect most will have clicked off once they hear the only engine available is a 1.0 litre petrol...
Seems quite the opposite to what Matt thinks on carwow. He felt the brakes were grabby not spongy and he liked the manual 6speed. Also you have a place for the parcel shelf, unlike others you can place it under the false floor. Not a very positive review. That said I think he is correct about the 1.0 litre engine.
Honest review and refreshing given a lot of channels seem to like it, but I really wish reviewers wouldn't quote WLTP fuel economy figures, then follow them up with NEDC CO2 figures. Given that 67.6 mpg = 100g/km, the ratings for this car would be 141 to 150g/km for the manual, or 147 to 154g/km for the auto. I also presume Nissan's NEDC combined fuel consumption figure for the manual Juke is about 61mpg, or 57mpg for the auto?
Good review, liking the honesty. Of course, as mentioned before, this is a re-skinned Renault so hardly surprising the driving dynamics are poor, no substance as usual.
Got one on hire, great build quality, great seats, good looks but the suspension is horrendous, such a choppy ride, can't wait to hand it back and collect our superior pug 2008 from the repair shop to be honest.
It sounds like the Skoda Kamiq has it beaten in several key areas, not least driveability and interior space, but that may not matter to those who are wowed by the avant-garde external design.
EVERY other brand als offer small engines like that. And 7l V8 in europe?? Maybe in a tank but most cars at this time didn´t even have more than 50hp and 4 cyl.
The first generation car had a steering with ZERO feel and ZERO feedback. I turned left...release the grip from the steering wheel...pushed out of the corner, and the steering did not center back at all...insane.
I have a New Juke. It may sound crazy to many but...I purchase it online, I did not test drive it and I regret it, please never buy a car without trying it!! Seats, materials, sound, space, all excellent! Design, interior, outside, 10 out 10! It's confortable when you get in, not necessary when you driving, very hard on the road, seems like they forgot the suspension springs!! Engine and gear box, embarrassing, someone should loose their job over this choices, just terrible, no power in the engine, shifting high gears is a challenge. And the fuel consumption...you better have a good deal with your local gas station! Drinks a lot! In Portugal the price for this car, version N Design Chic with some extras like sound, Navi and Pilot was around 27k, most likely with the same price tag you can get a much better car for your money.
My friend bought his online too, sadly it got delayed twice. My pal has a video review of his new Juke too if you wish to see it? I have been in it and it is very slow and some materials are not worth the £25k+ of this car th-cam.com/video/y-v6LMQUGsI/w-d-xo.html
@@Nismo3 Why are Nissan marketing it as "sporty", with an unconfortable suspension tuning, then...? And I'm sure the 1.3 liter engine will be quite, ahem, "sporty" as well... Ferrari, watch out !!!
The most important thing for me about buying a new car is reliability over every other aspect of car ownership. The Juke has never fared well at all in any reliability survey because Nissan is now apart of Renault. I would definitely avoid this.
Nissan generally are reliable cars and pretty much identical reliability to Renaults as can be seen by the reliabilityindex which gets it data from warranty claims so no bias or opinion and shows the accuracy as they are so similar www.reliabilityindex.com/manufacturer Unfortunately there is no specific rating for the Juke on that site but generally Nissan are a lot more reliable than most of their competitors in that segment. Many are still buying more expensive German models with far inferior reliability and more expensive repairs although admittedly as ever Skoda's also are above average reliability and have more reasonable repair costs. If you want better reliability go for the purer Japanese brands like Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Suzuki etc.
This channel gone dead😂. It always has been tbh. They need to change the game but again no point because carwow is so modern nowadays and better entertainment and has nearly 4m subs since 2016. While carbuyer still on 500k+ and they started late 2000s. Shame really 🤷🏽♂️😂
How long until those speakers in the headrest are banned in the UK. Just try driving with headphones on, it will limit your awareness and possibly result in slower reaction times, it will be argued. And why no electric version, it would be on my wishlist if they had actually taken notice of current car trends and release an electric, but then an electric wouldn't be made in the UK due to the costs of battery production it would be easier to build the car in the same country that currently manufactures the powertrain it would use and then they would lose out on that massive subsidy the UK government is giving them to keep Sunderland in operation. So this flawed car is just a shallow exercise in throwing something together quickly to get a quick profit, rather than a well developed product that is crafted to fit the current needs in the market as the original Juke had been.
Those speakers have been in the micra for 3yrs now mate, & not a single issue. They create surround sound music, they're not the same as Beats headphones. At all.
The parcel shelf can be kept under the false floor.
He points out the moveable boot floor, and then points out there is no space to store tha parcel shelve 😅🤦🏻♂️
Looks way way way bettah than the previous version
That’s like saying , she’s the best looking patient on the burns ward.
Looks Good (car too)
The exterior design is a very good evolution of a difficult first generation.

Carwow said good things and Carbuyer say bad things?
Oh yes James and his screaming red trousers almost like Flammin Cheeto crunchy
Great Video Review. I expect most buyers will choose N-Connecta but I personally like the Tekna +

Hold on a sec there carbuyer you can store the partial shelf. You can store it under the boot floor that's false info you've given there.
Why at 6:52 is this review section repeated??
Good honest review. Thanks James.
What car do you's recomend that is loud and affordable?
Why Nissan gave the US the bland Kicks instead this is beyond me.
He is the only one who has moaned about it, everything else I've seen they raved about it. doubt I will watch anything from this guy again :)

Can he only do an impression of Quentin Wilson, or are other Top Gear presenters from the 1990's in his repertoire? Can he do Clarkson? :-)

Very nice car . In my country the 1.0 is perfect, you cant drive faster than 100 km in Belgium. And your always in traffic :p
Scotty Kilmer nightmare 😂😂😂😂😂
That's all you'll be doing when potentially your cvt fails conveniently after the warranty period revving up and not going anywhere
Robert Ceroli The new Juke hasn’t got a CVT.. It’s got a DCT mate
So this is where Will McKenzie from the Inbetweeners ended up
I have a strong suspicion that this channel might be dead.

Skoda kamiq is a better all rounder. Much more space, rides and handles better.
Joe Eightys The Kamiq looks like a Van, so boring in and outside. More practical ok but the Juke isn‘t known for practicality.
This type of car will and are killing off saloons . RIP saloon cars 2030.
Looks to be a great car when they put a better engine in it. Love the styling and interior but that engine does it no favours.

Trying to market a 1.0 liter-engined car as "sporty", thus making it less confortable, is oxymoronic. And dumb.
