What makes Mario RPG games so special?

With the recent release of the Super Mario RPG remake, and the Thousand Year Door remake. I thought why not look at some of Marios best spin-off games! and also the spin-off games about stickers...

i’d say a lot of people have come around to enjoy super paper mario and really appreciate the story. personally i had a great time with paper jam but i was a little disappointed because i felt like there were a lot of missed opportunities with paper mario being in the real mario world

@@FMrewind I get that, and yeah, I’ve seen that Super Paper Mario has gotten more praise recently. I didn’t know much about Paper Mario when I first played Paper Jam, so I didn’t think about how there were so many missed oppidum to include iconic Paper Mario characters.

I was introduced to the Mario RPG’s with Dream Team and SPM as a kid, and ever since then they really helped solidify my love for the Mario series as a whole. I’ve never been more hopeful for Mario RPG’s until now, and I can still barely believe that we’ve gotten two high quality remakes just in the past year alone. If those M&L rumors end up becoming true, I can only hope they really live up to the lofty heights of the first couple entries. These games mean so much to me man
