Gotta give serious props for just how thorough you were with this list here. Like damn, I can't think of a single enemy from any Mario game or spinoff series that isn't included here. Must have taken forever to put together too, especially with all the neat visual effects in each section as well.
Either way, great video. Would be great to see a boss version at some point in the future as well.
I am excited to do the boss one soonish right now I am working on something else but I think that will be me follow up.
PS - Due to an editing error 3 Goombas accidentally were left out in Choomba, Chuboomba and Coalbits

I can't imagine how much time it took to find all these enemies and to edit a 3+ hour video!
To point out some enemies you missed,
(1) Blue Shy Guys, a variant of the Shy Guy from Treasure Tracker that will turn to find Captain Toad and will chase after him when they do.
(2) Ring Beamers, enemies from the Galaxy games that, you guessed it, shoot ring-shaped beams three times in quick succession when Mario gets close.
(3) Ball Beamers, which are similar to Ring Beamers, but are placed on spherical planets and will emit a beam that covers the planet- also from Galaxy.
(4) Knucklefists, huge fist enemies found in the penultimate and final levels of Mario Wonder.
(5) Dragons, the long, serpentine dragons that are found fossilized and are revived when Mario collects the Wonder Flower.
Edit: (6) Wire Traps, electric enemies that move along wires on Isle Delfino.
There may be more, but I'm not as motivated to do the amount of research that you did to make this video. Great job again!
So the blue shy guy felt like just a shy guy to me but I get it could be different. The beamers seemed to be more obstacles than enemies IMO. The should be in. And the dragon doesn’t hurt you just helps so I didn’t count him

Shy Guy is not used in standard mario game because it is way too similar to a goomba. However in RPG games you can give them more abilities and features :) Plus they are cool as hell

I haven’t watched the whole thing yet but this is really entertaining and I can tell that so much effort went into this. Really good job here.
On a side note I may have just missed it but during the koopa segment I didn’t see neither KP Koopa or KP Paratroopa from The Thousand Year Door. I also didn’t see spiky parabuzzy. Again I could just be dumb since I was doing something with the video playing in the background.

In all seriousness one of my favorite things is seeing how many super mario bros 2 enemies became iconic staples of the franchise despite not originally being intended for a mario game, like bob-ombs, shy guys, snifits, pokeys, and ninji
It is crazy considering it was just a reskin of another game

In Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario bros. Edition there are a few enemies(which I kind of glad you didn't include them) that weren't in the video. They are 2-Goomba Tower, 3-Goomba Tower, Gold 2-Goomba Tower, Gold 3-Goomba Tower, Red Koopa Troopa & Cheep Cheep(yes, that is what they are called and basically everything I'm mentioning from now on), Dry Bones & Cheep Cheep, Heavy Para-Beetle, Blooper Nanny & Baby, Blooper Nanny & Babies, Blooper & Cheep Cheep, Blooper & Cheep Cheeps, Bullet Bill & Goomba, Bullet Bill & Goombas, Bob-omb & Lakitu, Boo Trio, Spiny Egg & Lakitu, Double Lakitu, Thwomp & Thwimps, Chain Chomp & Flame Chomp, Chain Chomp & Flame Chomps, Whomp & Boos, Wiggler & Flame Chomp, and finally Flutter & Flame Chomp.
Despite all of that, there is one enemy that should count because it's completely new, They are King Coin Coffers. There are five different colors for each of the five orb attributes, Green(wood), Red(fire), Blue(water), Yellow(light), and Purple(dark). They have a chance to run away and if defeated, they give a lot xp and coins.
I meant to say that i wasn’t counting enemies from that game in the beginning but forgot to. 😅
The super mario bros series has my favourite bestiary of baddies in any video game, glad there’s a video showing all of these amazing mooks.

i may have missed it but did the list have the blue Koopa from the multiplayer mode of NSMBDS? It gives the blue shell powerup
You are right! Blue shell koopa is a different enemy by my standards. When researching things like Koopa Troopas are all jammed together so it made it possible to miss enemies this combined with editing error mean 4 enemies are missing from this video the other 3 are Choomba, coalbits and Chuboomba.

Iirc, there are a few lakitus in mario 3 that drop green spiny eggs that don't uncurl but isntead roll around toward mario, so I'd (barely) consider that specific thing a different enemy

I just finished the goomba section and while you mentioned the goombas with hats from Mario 64 ds you didn’t mention the goomba king boss guy from the same game in which you have to defeat to unlock Mario. If there’s a boss section where he mentioned later I’ll edit.

I wanna list some enemies you missed from the game Yoshi's Safari which contains tako, and anvil, and you didn't mention the pink histocrat servants I swear theres a few others (Gold varients of hammer bro,skeleton pirahnna plant and maybe some others?) but I cant name them but fr amazing job I know this took ages lmao

I'd reckon that the turtle on the overworld map that eats you in Mario Land 2 to bring you to the "Turtle World" is an enemy. Sure, it doesn't KILL you, but when has an enemy's lethality counted in its classification? It _tries_ to eat you, succeeds too, which would normally result in death. Mario is only saved via Mario shenaniganery, which the turtle is not alone in falling victim to (How many times has Mario beat Bowser via "random switch/axe.") In the same way, the whale inside the turtle is NOT an enemy, because Mario enters the whale voluntarily. You have to actively select the whale level. The turtle just munches on you cus he's hungry.
You make a great point! I would say that turtle is an enemy
