These are helpful not only for shift work Dr. You are Disciplined and have such great systems in place for living a balanced life. If I could be a forward as we say , to ask for a daily meal schedule,.or if you could make an updated video of taking care of one's Gut better. I don't diet, since speaking to you. I have mental list of what I should and should not consume much of. Love berries, and all the whole foods but mixing them up and remaining consistent is what I need to keep at. Thanks Sarah 💕
Great tips. Thanks. Unless they're making better eye masks. Edit!! . They are making a better mask! I bought one of these mask on Amazon US for about $10. Pretty much solves the problem. Some light through the sides lightens up in the inside... but I don't think you'd notice unless you were moving around a bright light. Around the nose has some very minor leaking around my nose. I don't see any problem at all. I've used it two nights. Will buy one for my car for my Supercharger naps. I (used to) always just use a black t-shirt. I've been doing this for over thirty years. After I spent almost $50 on an eye mask and it had almost as many light leaks as the ones the airline gives you for free, I swore off them. Instead, at home, on plane, trip, dirt bagging in the back of my Tesla (Huge glass roof) I just drape a black t shirt over my eyes. I used to have migraines all the time, so a light leak? Could you instead just stab me in the face with an ice pick? But that £5.82 one does look worth a try. Maybe they have made a better one... It's cheap enough to give it a shot. The warmed up bed is great. I love a cold night, window open, and an electric blanket. I love very cold air and a warm cozy bed or sleeping bag. If you're warm -10C at 2500m, snow is amazing. I have a nutty theory that what often keeps us up, or wakes us up, are drafts that we can't even feel. So what I started doing for camping, and now do almost everywhere, is some kind of sleeping bag liner. Fleece, different weights. I might just buy two yards, fold it lengthwise and run a quick zigzag stitch to make it a pocket. Seems to work. No zippers! They just get in the wrong position and are uncomfortable. I bought one with a zip. I sewed it up and took the zipper off. I also wear a long sleeve merino wool top different weights depending on the temperature. Even with my sack and electric blanket, if my upper body gets a chill I wake up. I'm also a slide sleeper. We have been side sleepers for millions of years. 4" of memory foam is as good or better than any £10,000 bespoke mattress. To fall asleep when my brain keeps thinking, I turn on an audio book, low volume. Something I've read and enjoyed. Set the timer -- longer is better. I've gone back in the morning and relistened. The last thing I usually remember is less than ten minutes in. If I set it for 30 minutes I often wake up when it stops.
I usually wake up around 3-4pm, eat then go skate or sleep from 7-930 i snooze it till like 10:15😂 then start getting ready to clock in at 11 and take my lunch around 1 or 2am. Clock out around 730 since my coworkers are late... Then I eat and sometimes I run errands or go skate and then I go to sleep around 9-10am. That's usually, but sometimes I have to do certain things on the morning and on the afternoon and I end up missing or shortening my sleep... I'm 23 and I've been working nights for 1 year. (Still looking for a second job, part time from 5-9pm or 8-12 something like that)
