Boy howdy, howdy boy, boy howdy I love a long vidya. First off it’s Thirsty Thursday, so I wanna wish all y’all a safe trip into Tejas. Weather up here today is icy and roads are bad should clear up by the time y’all pull in though . Next I wanna say Teddy looking gooder than grated cheese right now. I wanted to let you know I tried everything to get a ride down there to see y’all as you know I don’t have a ride of my own and nobody wants to drive me. So I’m gonna be missing out and I’m very upset about it. I’m not being funny either I really am upset about it. But at least I know you will update us with another vidya soon. You are going to need more cardboard for list. Technically, I would apply Permatex white pipe thread sealant on your radiator fittings that were not shown being tightened. EVAP hose to roll-over valve had screw in it. Needs run to inlet on activate carbon canister to facilitate refueling. I do not remember seeing sway bars on the front or rear? Should they be running low slung? Let’s find out! Stay tuned for interstate parts car following with tools and repair goodies. Still, no one had mentioned electric fans? Switched on dash perhaps. Now I am thinking tacos, hungry!

D-day fellas morning we are loading up in Little Rock ark now. We got hit with a lot of ice so hopefully we can make it out of Arkansas. Teddy is setting low now , that’s a good stance after bump stops were cut. It’s good to see the gang back on the build. TTR , NOAH, RICK showed up just in time. That’s a good looking suburban and obs dully TTR has. Right on . Well Robbie we are about to leave out 6hr ride slow and easy. The new rubber looks good by the way. You all be safe.💯💯💯💯💯✅

i ran a 5 inch offset on the front for many years. the bumpsteer was crazy

right now I'm trying to fit certain wheels and tires on my truck and I'm worried that I won't be able to ride low and still be able to turn without rubbing.

Did your gmc come with factory trailing arms?
Yo, Travis! It did not. The original Longbed frame, which i still have, was leafs. Most GMCs were in this era, if not all. Back when we started putting this truck together, we used a factory ‘68 chevy shortbed chassis.
@@UNITEDBYTRUCKS gotcha! I see that gmc crossmembers have the holes for trailing arm brackets so I wondered if it was as easy as installing the brackets and then the arms.
@@SIMPLE.C10 I believe that’s the case. I doubt GM would make a separate style crossmember for leaf trucks. Likely all made the same way, but GMCs just didn’t use those TA mounting holes.

Thank you! We actually ended up using the only the grille from the MI clip and the fenders and hood from the Vancouver clip. Teddy is made up of about 6 different trucks now, but still looking original. lol
