I like that you showed every painful step of the dyno sessions and tuning.
I gotta thank Jesse, Don, and Donald for being cool with documenting that process. It ain’t always easy and that’s oftentimes why these build can rack up the dollars. Way more goes on behind the scenes than most people realize.

I remember after high school in the late 70's... ( that's a miracle in itself, lol ) when the name " Don Hardy Race Cars " was all over Beaumont... the gent (Kent Chatagnier, the first 200 mph dragster run ever...) that I worked for who had several Motion cars, was talking to me over the phone about D.H.
Would love to tell his son someday. Honestly, I had thought D.H.(R.I.P.) was no longer in business, glad to find out different! By the way, great to see the build turned out so excellent!!!

Thanks for Sharing. Yes Don Hardy Sr past away a couple years ago now. His son Donald Hardy continues the legacy. Yes has been incredible to deal with.

I love seeing what it actually takes to build a truck of this caliber. Just seeing them on the track doesn't show how much time and money it takes to get them to run like they do. That chassis is gonna be nuts. Great video!!

The explanations from No Limit Engineering were like a crash course in race chassis theory. Awesome info! I should have been in the automotive industry instead of going to college for architecture.

Great video. My favorite part is the story of how these two guys came together. It’s cool to think that a childhood memory started this build that the rest of us truck guys are going to be chasing for a long time. Thanks for sharing this story.

Robbie you’ve been very busy I’ve wondered why we haven’t heard from you but I see now why it’s been a great journey so far was a little nervous at the dyno and amazed at the chassis shop!!!! I’m feeling stressed I can only imagine how Jesse was feeling getting that motor to get to the right spot my adrenaline is peaked from this amazing footage!!! That’s correct, but the great part is Jesse is racing the truck this season as well. The guys formed Level 7 Racing Division and already won their class in the first Optima race in 2022.
Remember: this was filmed last year so we’re bringing everyone up-to-speed!
