- Edgar markov is one of the strongest commanders ever printed, that eminence ability working in the command zone, means it never has to be cast to effect the game. As it can just sit there and make us a token board state whenever we cast a vampire. But the fact when we do cast it, it can attack straight away and double the power of the tokens it makes, and buff up the rest of our board is honestly insane.

Mirkwood bats has got to be in here. Not a vampire but close enough 😂 and says “when you create or sacrifice a token each player loses 1 life” with the amount of tokens here that would be insane

I play a more control style of Edgar keeping heavy on the board wipes. Phyrexian Arena, skullclamp and Dark Confidant for steady draw. As well as six tutors to search what I need. It's a deck with a lot of options. You really don't need signet's if you have the shocks, fetchs, tri-lands, pain lands and battlebond lands. If you don't have that package than signet's work. The list you have is solid and will do very well.

You should throw some red in there as well if you are getting edgar...im doing the same thing now...the Clavileño deck will be dismantled for Edgar

Don't sleep on impact tremors, purphoros, warleader's call, and ojer axinil deepest migt. Just cast vampires and watch your opponents melt.
Would like more details on how it would work and you should not put so many options it gets confusing on what I would buy. Especially for newer players.
Edgar is so strong that I prefer to play him suboptimal. For example, I run Go For The Throat as a piece of targeted removal. The flavour is too good

Edgar doesn't need ramp, if you play it super aggressive at turn 2 you want to cast a creature not a signet and later in the game ramps are even more useless
Have you found the deck to be consistent in a 4 player pod with no ramp in the deck?
I feel like it’s a risk to play on curve, dump your hand out and then get board wiped leaving you completely useless as you don’t have any cards in hand and only like 5 mana.
