Hey man! How do you balance power level between color archetypes? For example if you add splinter twin/Kiki combo, that’s a pretty big tilt in power to Izzet, Boros for example doesn’t have this strong of a two card combo that I can think of at least so it feels like suddenly Izzet has an unfair advantage, how to you maintain that?

Another 0 for me. It isn't played in commander nearly as much as it used to be, but it's still really recognizable. The spacing in the name alone was a huge clue for this one. Although I did have to stare at it for a second because I swore this card was named Well of Lost Souls, not Lost Dreams (probably getting it mixed up with Cauldron of Souls). I KNEW that this was the card though so I just sat there until I remembered that I was mixing up the last word

I know this is an older video. But it was really helpful. In my area we tend in have a lot more higher power cubes and id love some advice on drafting/making decks. I went to the bostoncubeparty and loved it, but went 1-12 on the weekend.

Got this one in 0, the hardest part was trying to remember the name of the card (like you, the first one to come to mind was Big Score, but I knew there was another card that did the same thing). As soon as I realized the first part was "as an additional cost to cast ~, the rest of it filled in pretty easily.

Pyrogoyf should have won the game on the spot

Really enjoying the improvements in production and editing! Cool gameplay as always, don't worry about missing Pyrogoyf triggers at the end, it's just bonkers that it does trigger of other goyfs so I understand not catching it in the moment, especially with so much going on at that point in the game.

Check out library of leng, no max hand size, and when you're forced to discard you can put any card on topo of your deck instead

i only say the single reds with six letter and my first guess was gamble why there is a really low number of red card with so much text and son sorcerey speed

I got it in 1, although my first guess was 'Essence Wardeb' because I can't type

Also got it in 0. There were clearly no activated abilities on the card, so thst ruled out mana dorks and stuff like Elvish Reclaimer and Sylvan Safekeeper (which isnt an Elf anyway). I'm starting to recognize when things have enter the battlefield abilities based on the number of letters, and this was the first card I could think of for a single pip in green that had one.

I knew the text box after 5 guesses and after 9 guesses was only missing the k. But ultimately I failed to guess it cause I have never seen this (or any other ankhegs for that matter) and had no idea this was a word that existed😂

Got this in 5, even though I'm somewhat familiar with this I still think I got really lucky. Went with E and A first and got that it had Ward and Trample. Used an O and figured that it also gave other creatures Trample and Ward. Used a G and figured the first word was Giant. I stared at the creature type for a bit and remembered that there was a green insect that I used to win a draft game when they did the Baldurs Gate Wilderness event at my LGS not too long ago. I could remember the art but not the name. Threw an H in there to see if it would help and was able to piece together Ankheg

I love that eldrazi spawn token idk why but I use them for my pauper deck and it’s so badass

Id take the fetch here. Nothing calls me too much. Id take a ton of great cards iver fetches, but nothings so exciting that i need to go that direction. With a pack like this, i stay open.

I've been in many situations (on both sides) where a time walk was the only thing that could possibly swing an almost surely lost game into a win - I do agree Sheoldred is powerful and wins a lot of games but I still don't think the choice is too close

Built something similar accidentally. I tried elminster as a substitute commander to my azorius deck and fell in love with how interactive the game became. You can really do some damage with his -3 ability when the time is right. I always end games with This deck hitting for 30 plus.

Fastbond is the fun pick. And why cube if not for fun.

Not familiar with this draft format, but drafting Liliana seems like a solid choice in general

I mean, when this thing loaded, I for real was like... FASTBOND THOUGH. It's not the consistent pick, but it is the nutty pick hahaha. It is probably wrong, because I want to build a deck that is very consistent and the fastbond by definition is inconsistent.. but the card is so nuts....

Yeah fastbond because when it's good it's bonkers. Pairs well with draw sevens (or any draw actually) in addition to the combos. The other cards might be good but none is as deranged.

Got this on zero. Play this in my counters matters deck, and a soon as he said shroud, it can only be one thing for 1 green

Fetch land

Cant stress two things enough, 8-10 ramp in a landfall deck, thats highly depended on having your commander around isnt enough(I play 21 pieces of ramp atm in my highpower version), more ramp is also more tokens, so cut things like mondrak and fuel up your ramp, like that you also have more options at any time, because you can play things more likely and make bigger turns or recover faster after boardwipes. Second thing, NEVER EVER EVEN CONSIDER running Elesh Norn Mother of Machines in this kind of decks. If an opponent takes control of her (And there are so many ways in magic to do so) Your entire game is out of controle because suddenly you dont have landfall triggers anymore. better play panharmonicon, it survives boardwipes, doesnt die to creature removal and is not as hurtful, if its taken from you by another player. Another minor thing, cant really say i enjoy skullclamp in this deck, if you ramp enough you wont be able to make a lot of plants in the process, your very fast at 7+ different lands and making zombies with 2/2 that you cant clamp. But nice video, well made.
