I've had 4 blood artists since they came out. Always had a vamp deck of some form. I have a few of the cards mentioned here in my Edgar commander deck. Now I have a hunting list, my sac/gain life needs some help. Thank you for making this top ten.
Care to share your Edgar list? I'm also working on a Edgar aristocrats list and I'm having trouble making the last 4 cuts! Maybe you could look at my list as well and make suggestions?
I tried a new vampiric commander deck out among friends the other night, and figured "ugh, Blood Artist, well at least he's a 1-cost I can play right away", but then he kept me consistently in the game way longer than I would have without him, I think in total he must have healed me for 25 life (and in synergy with other life gain I think I healed for about 40-50 life throughout the game)
