I wondered if all your pups' names had been changed by you or if that was their names at the rescue?
I also wanted to ask about what you'd said before, about sleeping on the sofa to help them settle the first few nights after they come home.
which i planned to do.
But what if they get used to that and get anxious once you go to your bed, and you can't take them cause of stairs?
Might that lead to separation anxiety?

Sometimes I change names, it depends on the one they come with. Most don't recognise their name at that stage so doesn't matter tbh
