Great advice, it’s took me well over 12 months hard work to get my spaniel under some form of control on walks and wouldn’t be possible without the ball, too much freedom as a pup is such a long road back unless you get lucky

Wow, you have articulated what I have seen and thought with my first ever Wocker. I cannot thank you enf for your experience and knowldeged. I made a mistake with my 9 month old and let her run amuck. Not really understanding what I created. I am working the last 6 months to help change the damage I did. I will continue to follow you and learn.

Never used tennis balls myself, always hunted on gamey ground from the outset. Saves so many problems of dogs pulling on and not listening later on in their training.

    Great vidio carl.
    Telling it as it is.
I have a cocker, twin turbo like your wolf.
Kept him as steady and as close for 18 months now.
Just loves retrieving dummys, but once on the sent of game he loses interest.
Trying to keep him in a tighter circle , but proving difficult when on hunting mode.

Brilliant video. My spaniel is 6yrs old, he’s basically exactly like wolf but a tennis ball - boom lazer focus, a jet could fly over head and he’d not move! Ha.

Hi, we use ACME ALPHA 211.5. You can purchase these off our website but also from many other online outlets. We also stock the 210.5 whistles and use these if a customer's dog is particularly used to them but our preferred whistle is definitely the 211.5. Hope that helps and thank you for your comment. Kind regards Kugae Gundogs www.kugaegundogs.uk/shop/kugaes-dog-training-equipment/acme-alpha-211-5-whistle-range-copy/
