Glad to hear runs awesome on steam deck! I haven’t played 3-4 I only started on 5. But I just got 6 recently and I started playing it, 6 is a lot more difficult I find.

I don’t know what it is but this is my favorite tropico. The writing isn’t quite as good as 4 but the gameplay feels the cleanest of the whole series. Tropico 6 adds some cool mechanics but the animations aren’t as good as 5 and the battles especially leave something to be desired. There’s also this certain sterile feeling that doesn’t do it for me.

It runs so well on the Steam Deck. And the bigger fonts compared to Tropico 6 are a godsend. I miss the radio stations of 3 and 4 though.

Is tropico 5 or 6 better?
Personally I like Tropico 5 more and I have played it more. Tropico 6 is still a good game but they are different.

I most definitely agree Tropico 5 is my top favourite. Though I also did enjoy Tropico 6!!
