  • In this video, I will show you a powerful hidden feature that acts as a kill switch to turn of all the sensors on your smartphone.
    This will apply to any Samsung or Android smartphone running Android 10 or later, such as the Note 20 Ultra, Note 10 Plus, Galaxy S20, and Galaxy S10 series, etc.
    Let's dive in.

      The thing is, that actually forces sensor data to be unreadable by apps and other software. Camera app won't work, snapchat can't get an image and cpu-z(diagnostic tool) won't be able to read ANY sensor data. It actually works.

    • @myron7642
      @myron7642 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Without hardware control, this is still better than not being able to turn the sensors off at all. This also works at the OS level, so it is not useless. However, the use case for this is extremely limited, since if you're someone who will ever need this feature, you'd probably be using a phone with hardware switches.

    You could still be tracked, to all those thinking this takes you "off the grid"..
    Only way of going anonymous device wise, is to get rid of your "smartphone" altogether.
    And from what I've read, it's possible other features such as your microphone, camera, touchscreen, etc etc stop operating properly.
    Once you've disabled it than goes to enable it, so be mindful.
    I wouldn't suggest bothering these options, if you aren't versed on how to make them work once they've stopped.
    It's not called "developer options" by coincidence. 🤦🤦✌

    Saki, FYI
    When you turn off all tracking sensors in your smartphone you are also deactivating the Bluetooth hand-free sensor in your microphone, thus while tracking sensors are turned off, outside callers will not be able to hear what you talk to them while using a Bluetooth headset. So for those who use Bluetooth hand-free headsets to answer calls can be affected. This happened to me while using a Plantronics Bluetooth hands-free headset.....

After a few minutes, my phone started vibrating real strong and making all kinds of weird noises. After moving some more of those switches, it kind of settled down, but then it started showing videos - like reruns of the Kardashians in a loop. Initially, I kept on saying that I couldn't find the icon on the S20 Ultra!
    But then I was relieved despite that I got an error message stating that Development was already activated of how to install Sensors off.
    Thanks for providing an excellent tip!
    NB! there is a problem with enabling Sensors off, and that is it stops me from using voice control to Set the; Alarms, Stopwatch, and Timer
    I shall just switch off the permission and hope that it will prevent apps from having access to voice recognition etcetera in the background!
    Let me know if it will work?

    You might has well turn off your phone when you don't want to be tracked.

    • @McSquiddington
      @McSquiddington 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ElTuco Phones don't have a geopolitical compass - a phone is a phone is a phone. If your mobile is turned on, even if it's locked and even if it's someplace where there's nothing to feasibly track, like the inside of a pocket, it's constantly seeking for new cell phone tower signals and, in doing so, advertises your position. No matter if you're using a Pixel, an Xperia or an iPhone. Turning your cell phone off kills its seeking ability, but then you can't make calls seeing as you aren't hooked to a network.
      For a mobile phone to work as intended, it *has* to track, log and broadcast your position to a signal-provider; or else you'd have to pull the "mobile" out of "mobile phone". That's without mentioning how searching for a non-Chinese phone is a futile effort - even iPhones contain parts that are sources across the greater Asian subcontinent. The whole "Huawei is spying on us with their 5G towers!" nonsense isn't really born out of security concerns, it's more of a nationalistic outreach by the US government to maintain the relative independence of its data infrastructure. Even then, it sugar-coats the fact that Washington might've kicked Huawei out of the American infrastructure, it doesn't change the fact that most cell phone towers depend on components that globalization sources for us.
      By and large, cutting off service providers won't keep your data safe. What will is working with an ISP and mobile provider that values your privacy as a customer, and that won't blow a gasket if you, say, occasionally use a VPN. Besides, I'd only ever recommend going Incognito for personal reasons, ranging from sessions with your online bank to, erm, quality time spent on one's lonesome, if you catch my drift.
      Everything else can be carried out in the open relatively safely. Now, if privacy *really* grinds your gears, then your best option would be to nuke all of your Social Media presences, or use aliases.
